02/07/2025: We were there in the area for a business meeting of my husband, recommended to us by this colleague of his. Small location but very welcoming as well as the staff. In my experience when the environment is clean and welcoming in the end you eat badly, here instead I found the exception that denies the rule I did not find any flaw in any course from appetizer to dessert. Everything exceptionally good and of quality.

05/07/2025: First time in this wonderful little village, decided with my son to have dinner at the inn, impeccable service, kindness and courtesy 100%... excellent food arrosticini made by them really at 🔝... second evening takeaway pizza excellent that too!!!

13/06/2025: I wanted to treat myself to a fish dinner for my birthday and since my daughter is celiac I did some research on the Internet... Given the many positive reviews, I booked at "Livio e il mare", a restaurant that, despite living in Pescara, I didn't know yet. A suggestive atmosphere, cuisine that reinterprets tradition, extreme attention to intolerances, raw seafood that struck me for the goodness and originality of the combinations... but above all the friendliness of chef Livio and his wife, who made us feel like special guests! Honorable mention for the oyster tasting... I can't explain why it's not one of the most renowned restaurants in the area! A birthday to remember 🥂

Kind-hearted, humane, reliable and kind people. Super products. You will never be able to make a bad impression because in this business people are all treated in the same way, there is no favoritism and those who speak badly of them either have no sense of taste or it is out of envy and hide under false profiles that are part of other activities and therefore gnaw at their great success. 01/06/2025: A monument that stands on the remains of a large Roman villa, inhabited until late antiquity, which between the 6th and 7th centuries became a castrum of those Byzantines who had retained control of the nearby port of Aternum (Pescara) as a fundamental landing place and intermediate port between the capital of the Exarchate Ravenna and Constantinople, and who clearly created the first nucleus of the historic Torre Alex (from Alessandro Valignano, one of the lords of the Valignano family of Cepagatti in the 17th century). The tower was consolidated in the Lombard era as a control point of a strategic road junction at the crossroads between the S.S. Picena Aprutina and the routes that went up to Forca di Penne and the Aquilano, and which from the 11th-12th centuries became the seat of the lords of the fiefdom of the Norman, Swabian and Angevin eras of Cepagatti, and then passed from the 15th century to the Valignano family and finally to the current owners. The first archaeological investigations by the Superintendency date back to the 1970s and continued between 1998 and 2011 in Piazza S. Rocco, bringing to light important evidence of the Roman era preserved in the City Council Hall. The restoration of the Castle returns to the public the so-called “sala delle cisterne” (cistern room), an authentic and rare Roman cistern 22 meters long and 4 meters wide, as well as the “sala del grano” (grain room), 340 square meters large on the top floor of the monument with a panoramic view of the Pescara valley. The restoration of the Marcantonio Castle, begun in 2008, represents a “place in history” and the over 2000 square meters spread over 4 levels offer the possibility of hosting particularly evocative events. Unfortunately, it is now in decline due to problems with the owners and is closed. Too bad...

17/06/2025: A very respectable structure surrounded by a well-kept park, it offers ample parking both on gravel and on tiles. Dining room suitable for events, well-kept, in our case on the occasion of a vintage car rally an interesting menu is served with the only off-key note of the dessert not up to expectations, everything else is top. Despite this, you leave satisfied.

22/06/2025: The owners were very kind both in communication and in preparing a savory breakfast (upon our request!), in addition to the truly excellent homemade desserts served in the porch surrounded by the greenery of the garden. The room was very clean equipped with every comfort (air conditioning, WiFi, mosquito nets..). The structure is very close to the Abbey and the Teatro degli Ulivi, reachable in a few minutes on foot. Recommended!

04/05/2025: Very quiet and relaxing place. Nicoletta and Aurelio were very kind and helpful, with a top-notch breakfast and excellent homemade desserts. The bike ride to discover the Trabocchi also starts from there, organized by Bosso with rental e-bikes and a snack prepared by Nicoletta...the Top. A short distance away, within walking distance, is the beautiful historic Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere, a must-see. Nicoletta took care of preparing a packed breakfast for us on the day of departure, setting us off very early. Very comfortable beds. To be repeated.... So see you soon Nicoletta and Aurelio

05/07/2025: Really super kind! I accidentally put petrol instead of diesel and they promptly came to pick us up from the petrol station with the tow truck (very kind guy arrived immediately even though it was Saturday and he wasn't working) and we went to the workshop where Fabrizio was (he also arrived immediately even though it was Saturday) where in a handful of minutes they solved more than one problem for us!

19/07/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante spettacolare con una bellissima vista, se al tramonto ancor di più. La sala interna ha un affresco sul soffitto molto suggestivo. I proprietari sono molto accoglienti, gentili ( qualità non scontata al giorno d'oggi) e super professionali... ti senti quasi a casa!! I prodotti sono freschi, buonissimi e locali ( ad esempio le verdure sono le loro e la pasta viene fatta dal cuoco al momento). Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!!

09/06/2025: Di passaggio a Vasto, abbiamo cenato in questo locale con terrazza vista Mare stupenda. Uno dei migliori ristoranti di pesce in cui abbia mai mangiato, considerando il fatto che ho viaggiato molto in Italia e all’estero ..qualità sopraffina e ineguagliabile freschezza , sapiente preparazione e presentazione artistica dei piatti. Crudo di pesce superlativo .. Titolare molto preparato e simpaticissimo! Conto inaspettatamente basso in rapporto alla qualità dei prodotti Candidato ad una stella 💫 Michelin , senza ombra di dubbio! Torneremo senz’altro alla prossima occasione in zona!!👍

Personale molto gentile: ci hanno accolti nel loro ristorante ci hanno seguiti per tutto il pranzo spiegando molto bene ogni piatto, curando il tavolo e il servizio. Cibo di ottima qualità. Buono rapporto qualità/prezzo. Grazie alla nonna per il tiramisù
