29/03/2026: There are places that don't need stars to shine... and then there's Ristorante Braceria Godot, which plays just that: hiding haute cuisine behind apparent simplicity. A Michelin-starred chef in disguise, with the smile of someone who knows he's strong but doesn't need to say so.
As soon as you sit down, you immediately understand that this place is no joke: the service is precise, attentive, almost choreographed. Never intrusive, always present, like an invisible director accompanying each course.
And then comes the food.
An elegant journey, without ever becoming pretentious.
The appetizer is pure poetry: interspersed textures, an enveloping cream, the egg that melts like a curtain opening onto the flavors, every element is there for a specific reason, nothing is left to chance. A dish that speaks softly but leaves its mark.
The first course? A warm and deep embrace. Perfect pasta, mushrooms the absolute protagonists, clear yet refined flavors. Here, the raw ingredients are respected and complemented, never covered up. It's comfort food dressed for the evening.

17/05/2026: Found it by chance...can't wait to go back. The house antipasto was really good, made with quality ingredients. The mushroom and truffle chitarrina was perfect. The wild boar stew was tender and tasty. It was like eating at grandma's! Beautiful place and super friendly staff.
16/05/2026: We went there during a visit to the Stiffe Caves. Very good, fast and attentive service. Worth a try. Fair prices for the quality you get. The veal steak is delicious.

20/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance after visiting the Basilica of San Gabriele. It's small but welcoming, a true inn. Monica, who served us, was very kind and helpful. She accommodated our every request.
The dishes were generous, especially the first courses.
There were four of us and we ordered three menus for €25 (first course, second course, dessert, drink, coffee, and cover charge) plus a caprese salad, for a total of €90. Highly recommended for sampling the local specialties.

La Taverna del Priore
didn't seem like just a dinner,
but a small journey:
a slow journey from lead to gold,
where lead is the traveler's hunger
and gold is that rare sense of fullness
that lingers even after dessert.
We begin with appetizers
that seem to recount
the region without haste:
small, carefully selected samples,
tradition, textures, memories.
From the creamy gratin to the more rustic flavors, to the notes of home cooking
that still knows how to speak
without the need for special effects.
The first course arrives as a well-found
balance: generous pasta,
flavors that don't shout
but make themselves heard.
A cuisine that seems to say:
"Relax, sit down. Here we really eat."
Then the meat. The real thing.

28/04/2026: Knowing you'll eat well and be greeted with kindness isn't always a given. Here, the combination of good quality and traditional food is perfect. Chicken livers and Ascoli olives are highly recommended.

10/05/2026: A wonderful and intimate evening at Spoon. The chef welcomed us with his kindness and the deliciousness of his dishes.
We opted for the six-course tasting menu, and everything was excellent, from the ingredients used to the flavor combinations.
Honorable mention: the appetizers truly amazed us!

02/02/2026: There are many types of cuisine, but Chef Pierluigi's cuisine at Don Evandro is an act of love. Love for the land, love for the raw materials, which are enhanced in every way (we drank a cocktail with onion extract that was a revelation), love for culinary art and technique, and love for his guests. We had the pleasure of tasting so many different dishes, combining tradition and innovation, transforming "a simple onion" into a masterpiece, bringing "chitarra" with crayfish to the table with a sauce that is truly a distillation of flavors, blending earthy roots with freshwater flavors. All this was topped off by Eugenia's kindness and warmth, which made us feel welcomed and at home in a minimalist yet meticulously maintained setting. If cooking is an act of love, you just need to trust and be guided, with an open mind and a palate ready for an experience to remember.
29/01/2026: Don Evandro was an excellent fine dining experience. The food was excellent, sourced locally, and cooked/presented in a way that highlighted the ingredients and flavours of the local region. The staff were friendly and despite the formality of the dining experience, I found myself to be quite comfortable.

13/05/2026: I have nothing to say about the dough, which is excellent, but the flavors aren't up to par (especially considering the high prices): the scampi on the pizza were very few, and overall the pizza lacked any flavor—I'd dare say it was bland. The double buffalo mozzarella with the burrata was bland and downright flat. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice, although we were crowded into the outdoor area with all the tables close together, making it difficult to communicate even on a Tuesday night (though I understand that's more convenient for the staff).
