25/07/2025: If you want to eat a dish featuring top-quality local produce, served with kindness by young people, this is the place. We had gnocchi with venison ragù, spaghetti with bacon and pecorino cream, and they were excellent. We also ordered a half portion for our little one, and it was all delicious. 07/08/2025: We went for lunch and had a truly positive experience. All the dishes we ordered were well-prepared, with quality ingredients and simple yet refined flavors. Each dish arrived promptly, beautifully plated, and delicious. But the restaurant's real strength, beyond the food, was the service. The family-run staff was exceptional: courteous, welcoming, and always attentive to making us feel at ease. It's rare to find such a sincere and spontaneous level of kindness and helpfulness, which contributes to an even more pleasant atmosphere. A place where you eat well, feel welcomed with a smile, and immediately want to return.

12/08/2025: Our first experience at the trabucco was wonderful, but my daughter had already been there twice, so we went for sure. It was a wonderful experience, an excellent gastronomic journey. They bring the dishes slowly, so you can fully enjoy them. The waiter describes the dish perfectly, and it's perfectly composed. The atmosphere is wonderful, breezy and shaded. The service is excellent, as is the open kitchen, spotlessly clean, and the professionalism and harmony between them all. It's an experience we'll repeat, but highly recommended to anyone looking for a unique experience. They also offer gluten-free options. Thank you, you made our afternoon a wonderful one. While here, since it's been open, if I were a tourist and went directly there, I would have had a hard time because the hours don't correspond to reality.

05/04/2025: Long time friend.....he makes extraordinary firsts that are not easily found. Now I don't even order....I simply ask for 1 first course and 1 second course of Roberto's choice. Simplicity and the certainty of freshness are his forte. Recommended.

29/07/2025: On our way back from vacation, we stopped in Ortona and discovered this restaurant somewhat randomly via GPS, and it was exactly what we were looking for: a restaurant where you can feel like you're having Sunday lunch at grandma's house, where you sit down at the table and know you'll wake up full and, above all, enjoying a delicious meal. Gianluca's service is not for the faint of heart, nor for the snobbish. He's the star of the place, and with laughter, stories, and everything in between, he truly made us feel at home. Kudos especially to the ladies in the kitchen, because they're truly amazing. The appetizers, with tomatoes, have REAL flavor, and the roasted cheese is truly superb. But the highlight is the first course: handmade pasta, stratospheric tomato ravioli. A dish that seems "simple," but the combination of truly excellent handmade pasta with a real filling and a sauce made with real, locally sourced ingredients is the dish that impressed us the most. The chitarrina al ragù was delicious. For the second course, we had arrosticini, and I have to say that between Vasto, Termoli, and the center of Ortona, these are the best I've ever had; they literally melted in my mouth. NOT FOR THE FAKE OF HEART

We had appetizers, first courses and second courses, all special. More than excellent quality/price. Among the places to take note of, worth returning to. Recommended 100%

17/07/2025: Frequento molto questo brand, ovunque vado lo cerco e ci vado, su questo però sono rimasto un po’ deluso, attesa lunga con meno di 10 clienti in sala, sia nell’ordine e altrettanto per avere il cibo ordinato. Le patatine sono arrivate fredde, espongo il problema al cameriere e si rende subito disponibile nel farmele rifare ma aimè altra delusione dopo 1 minuti mi tornano le stesse patatine scaldate al microonde che calda e chi fredda e tutte mollicce. Sarà stata una giornata negativa per lo staff non lo so.

17/07/2025: Purtroppo non abbiamo nemmeno mangiato perché solo per farci sedere al tavolo abbiamo aspettato almeno 20 minuti… e ovviamente al cibo non ci siamo nemmeno arrivati.. solo un ragazzo si occupa di far accomodare i clienti e sempre lui si occupa delle comande… andati via per disperazione

31/07/2025: We found exactly the trattoria atmosphere we were expecting, both in terms of food, prices, and service. The first courses were definitely tasty: the ricotta ravioli with ragù and the Mugnaia with mushrooms, the latter almost enough for two people! The cheese and egg balls were delicious! The arrosticini were good, average. The service was very friendly and unpretentious, appropriate for the type of place. Excellent value for money! The only downside was the desserts...we expected something traditional, but there wasn't one...we had the Nutella fritters, but they were very dry; we were a bit disappointed, but as for everything else, we'd definitely be back!
