30/05/2025: Last night I found "La locanda del puledro impennato" by chance and I was very satisfied! Delicious handmade arrosticini, but the highlight is the ones with liver and onion, delicious! Ask for Christian, a nice and friendly person. I highly recommend the locanda to all arrosticini lovers!

04/06/2025: Mrs. Graziella was right! We stayed with her and she directed us here for dinner, never was a better choice, everything absolutely excellent, we ate fresh fish to satiety. Impeccable service and location close to the seafront

28/03/2025: For the service I marked 4 stars but I had to give two...four stars for the promptness, kindness and excellent service provided by the lady who I assume is the owner...two stars because I asked a waiter for bread three times...the bread arrived only after having asked the lady for it. The same waiter was asked if there was the possibility of having some fruit. The answer was: "I'll go and see". I'm still waiting.....!

07/05/2025: The BEST food we have had in Italy!!! The truffle pizza was amazing, the lamb kebabs were moist and so flavorful, and the ravioli with ragu was spectacular!!!!!

24/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante durante le vacanze estive e ci è piaciuto talmente tanto da organizzare un weekend con degli amici solo per venire a mangiare qui. Tutto buonissimo!!! Arrosticini, olive ascolane, formaggio fritto, pizza..…. per non parlarle della focaccia con la nutella!! Sono stati gentilissimi anche nei confronti di nostra figlia celiaca friggendo a parte le patatine in modo che anche lei le potesse mangiare. Super consigliato!!

17/04/2025: Credo che nella vita bisogna provare quel che non si conosce per poter esprimere un pensiero e soprattutto un giudizio..ero scettica per questa esperienza ma ho ascoltato i consigli e anche un po’ di sesto senso…Una cucina che non conoscevo ma che mi ha lasciato sia al palato che negli occhi un’arte che solo chi ama questo lavoro può raffigurare! Dall’antipasto,al dolce..un accostamento di sapori,di vini,di amore ma soprattutto di emozioni… Si..perché pur venendo da una terra di mare,lo chef,ascoltando e sentendo la mia nostalgia,ha fatto sì che nei suoi piatti trovassi un po’ di casa..sono stata benissimo…mi sono sentita come non credevo mi potessi sentire.. A Bruno(cameriere) i miei complimenti..Preparatissimo su ogni singola cosa..attento e molto organizzato..So cosa significa stare in questo settore..e non c’è cosa più bella di vedere un cameriere che ti serva con il sorriso stampato in viso! Ps: Da Calabrese,abituata ad una cucina differente, è stato semplicemente ECCEZIONALE,TUTTO! Un grazie speciale a Raffaele,il migliore chef di Roccaraso!

31/03/2025: Appena all'inizio del bellissimo corso principale del meraviglioso borgo di Crecchio, si trova questo magnifico ristorante caratteristico, al piano terra di una bella ed elegante palazzina. Il locale è splendido, molto curato e pulito, composto da una piccola sala interna ben arredata, con stupendi piatti in ceramica e pitture su radici di alberi d'ulivo appesi ai muri e grande arco in mattoni, e una sala al piano superiore. Ci siamo accomodati ad un tavolo della sala, accolti da un addetto ai tavoli molto simpatico e disponibile, che ci ha spiegato alcuni piatti del menù. Per il nostro pranzo abbiamo ordinato i seguenti piatti: agnolotti del Re, chitarra reale, bistecca di scottona, pallotta casce e ova, verdure ripassate in padella, torta ricotta e pere, tiramisù, acqua, liquore della casa alle caramelle Rossana (omaggio) e 2 caffè: fantastico!!!! Tutto straordinario, gusto ottimo, materia prima di alta qualità e cucinata a regola d'arte: che dire, tanta bontà che ci ha lasciato soddisfattissimi!!! Servizio impeccabile e rapporto qualità/prezzo più che ottimo!! Proprietario molto gentile, con cui, durante la nostra permanenza, abbiamo avuto una piacevole conversazione. Sicuramente un ristorante super consigliato, un'esperienza da ripetere assolutamente!!!

30/03/2025: In the heart of the Byzantine village of Crecchio, the Taverna Ducale offers the opportunity to taste local dishes cooked with experience. We tasted the best cac'e ova balls in all of Abruzzo. Among the first courses we took little guitars and king's agnolotti. And for the second lamb...and what lamb!!! The innkeeper is a very nice character. At the end of the lunch he offered us a taste of some liqueurs... especially one with an unpronounceable name... let yourself be surprised!!!

Dishes are of the highest level, quality of raw materials, variety of choice between traditional and revisited dishes, possibility of customization and more than satisfactory portions. There is care in everything, from the service to the location. Highly recommended, also for the price. I will definitely be back
