20/03/2026: Really lovely restaurant! The owners were so warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, highlights were the freshly made warm bread, fettuccine porcini, arrosto misto (with delicious arrosticini!), verdure contorni which was fresh chicory, and finishing off with homemade tiramisu. Having no formal menu was a fun experience and special way to connect with the owner! For those driving, their onsite parking lot made it stress-free to visit, too. Delicious food and amazing hospitality makes this a must-visit every time in the region!

17/11/2025: An Unforgettable Experience at Morgana Farm After a wonderful hike on Monte Tranquillo, we stopped for lunch at Morgana Farm, in the heart of Abruzzo... and it was a truly perfect choice! The farm is spectacular, immersed in nature and surrounded by countless animals, creating a unique and authentic atmosphere. We were welcomed by Simone, the owner: a special person, incredibly kind and truly passionate about his work. At the table, we tasted fantastic food, all carefully prepared by his wife Claudia, who is also a wonderful person. Authentic dishes, authentic flavors, and that feeling of being at home. A highly recommended place for those seeking an authentic, simple, and one-of-a-kind experience. We will definitely be back! ❤️🌿🐐

18/04/2026: Lovely place! Excellent food and good value. For us, it's now a must-visit when we stay in the area. We had a cured meats appetizer and some first courses: everything was truly excellent. The dessert, a ricotta tart, was also noteworthy. The only negatives are the location and the table layout. The location, because it's a short walk and some stairs to reach it: we were with my elderly mother, and it was a bit of a struggle. The table layout, however, was a bit too close together, which wasn't very comfortable for a group like ours (8 people with 2 children). Despite these small issues, which we managed without any particular difficulty, the experience was exceptional, and I would recommend it without hesitation.

17/04/2026: For anyone passing through Rivisondoli, the "Da Giocondo" restaurant is always a sure bet: a welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food. Elisabetta, the owner, is always ready and willing to make her guests feel at home. If you're in the area and want to eat well, you absolutely must visit.

25/03/2026: I think it's the best sushi in Avezzano and the surrounding area. It's available both à la carte and by the roll during the week. My girlfriend and I first went à la carte and the quality was top-notch, now we're going by the roll because EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING, is exceptional. Even the fruit.

24/03/2026: I've been missing this excellent pizzeria for several years because, due to work, I'm forced to eat something always before midday. Well, last Sunday the pizza chef and I think the owner, satisfied me by seating me at 11:45 so I could enjoy an EXCELLENT margherita!

13/03/2026: I often go to eat pizza at Nicola's and I would say it's excellent pizza... after the pizza you can't miss the famous Pastiera Napoleta that Martina makes along with incredible zeppole. For me five stars!!

12/04/2026: An evening to forget, incredibly slow service, 45 minutes to get a bottle of water after arriving, two waiters for the entire place who couldn't get through due to the number of tables, the fried cheese batter inside was still raw, the liver arrosticini were tiny and burned, and the classic ones were ridiculously priced at 1.20 each, absurd! We arrived at 9 PM and finished at 10:45 PM, having eaten two pieces of fried cheese and 25 arrosticini! The location alone was beautiful!

08/03/2026: Perfect dinner, super friendly staff, and then, the magic. The chef presented the final stage of their polenta preparation to the dining room, complete with Abruzzo poetry and the history of polenta in those parts in the old days...it moved me. The taste of yesteryear ❤️

21/03/2026: Opened in 2016 by Raffaele Trilli and Cinzia Reale, it is now one of the most interesting gastronomic addresses in Roccaraso. Raffaele, who trained with Niko Romito and subsequently worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants, offers precise, clean cuisine with a profound respect for the ingredients. The dishes showcase the region with contemporary sensibility and great balance. The wine cellar is noteworthy, extensive and expertly curated, capable of complementing the cuisine with intelligently selected labels. To round out the experience, Cinzia's elegant and well-balanced desserts complete the experience with restraint and personality. A joint project built over time with passion, study, and identity. Bravo!

19/04/2026: Brunch at Anima. Delicious. Ristorante AnimA elevated local ingredients to an entirely new level. One reason we love Abruzzo and its amazing cuisine, from simple farms to talented Chefs, it’s always original in a traditional approach.

11/03/2026: Ristorante AnimA is a phenomenal foodie experience. The beautiful, intimate setting in a 17th century palazzo, elegant decor and white tablecloths are just an introduction to the excellent service from the proprietor whose chef has put together a truly interesting and delicious menu. Each 4-course "tasting menu" is perfectly curated to create an explosion of flavors in your mouth. Plus the owner brought out a couple of dishes for us to try on the house. All this for €45 per person - very reasonable. Paired with locally sourced Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, our meal was a feast for the senses and a delight for the soul. Grazie mille! We will see you again soon.

10/02/2026: The warmth of the wood-fired stove and the tranquil atmosphere made the experience very pleasant. From the 17-euro set menu, we enjoyed a house appetizer with pecorino cheese and exquisite cured meats, two first courses—pappardelle alla boscaiola and delicious gnocchi with ragù—and then for a second course, grilled pork steaks, perfectly cooked and flavorful, and a tender and creamy veal escalope, salad, and French fries. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable! I'll definitely be back!

24/03/2026: The atmosphere, food and waiter were truly top-notch. Everything was delicious from the starter to the dessert. The meatballs alla ganovese were a little less so, but the cured meats and cheeses were fantastic. Highly recommended.
