At around €90–100 per person, it's absolutely worth it for the quality of the food, the creativity, and the overall experience. We were delightfully surprised by the food at Ristorante Antica Trattoria San Lorenzo. The dishes are genuinely creative and full of imagination, yet light and easy to digest. What I appreciated most is that the chef naturally uses gluten-free flours in his cooking, so even with my gluten intolerance, I had zero issues and could enjoy everything worry-free. A special mention goes to the chef and owner, Simone Ciccotti—a fantastic host, extremely engaging, and always present at the tables to cater to every need. A very different culinary experience. Simone is a well established chef with many years of experience. He runs a small restaurant serving innovative dishes. We left ourselves in his hands. It was great. We ate at both Ada & Luce which are great restaurants too. Simone is doing something different. More personal & particular. He was super generous with his wine pairings. An evening with an accomplished chef.

The staff is extremely professional, attentive, and friendly. Special praise goes to Chef Ciccotti, a kind, helpful person who conveys his passion through every course. The extensive and well-selected wine list is excellent. The quality-price ratio is absolutely in line with the restaurant's caliber, featuring an elegant, modern atmosphere, complemented by pleasant pop and jazz background music. The portions are generous, and you leave the table feeling completely satisfied without sacrificing the sophistication of the dishes. It's the ideal place for lovers of seafood and gourmet cuisine. We can't wait to return for a third time. Highly recommended; try it and believe it.

Chef Simone Ciccotti's presence in the dining room was certainly an added bonus, attentive and available to share his passion and culinary philosophy. The staff proved to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, and always attentive to the guests' needs. The wine selection by the glass was also excellent, with thoughtful pairings perfectly in tune with the dishes. A dinner that was both emotionally stimulating and fully met our expectations. I was invited to dinner here at this place in the heart of the city (in the very center). I'm Umbrian, I lived in Perugia for 9 years, but I wasn't aware of this beautiful place. Refined, unique food that combines traditional and more modern elements. Generous portions. Friendly service, ready to explain everything on your plate. Welcoming, intimate atmosphere (perhaps a little too dark). Overall, a great experience.
