27/07/2025: I wanted to like this place because it was recommended to me, but maybe the chef wasn't there and the restaurant was understaffed. A third of the steaks were torn, and many others didn't want to open. We also ordered a steak, which was overcooked, burned, and tasteless. I don't like writing negative reviews, but it was a really bad experience, and I felt the need to write an honest and updated review. Like I said, maybe the chef wasn't there and someone was trying to keep it open, but that was my opinion when I was there in December. I'll try again when you reopen, since you took the time to respond, and I promise to update the review if it improves. I don't want to discredit this place because of a bad experience, but that was my opinion last time. (Also, I'm changing the review from 1 to 2 stars because you took the time to read my review and contact me. It shows you care and are always striving to improve.)

16/11/2025: Beautiful location, great for families. Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par: we booked for 7:15 PM (and the restaurant opens to the public at 7 PM). When we arrived, the parking lot was appropriately crowded, and there were many people waiting in line for tables. Unfortunately, the reception staff at the entrance, instead of letting those with reservations in and seating them first, only allowed those who were first in line to sit, thus causing delays and dissatisfaction among many customers. Only after we reported the issue did another member of staff intervene and try to remedy the situation. I don't think we'll return, just out of respect. We also found a sliver of a broken plate on the child's plate; luckily, he noticed it while chewing and spat it out. We reported the matter to the manager, who was willing to listen and very kind. A separate issue: the food: everything was very good, nothing to complain about! Update 11/16/2025, after a response. Like you, I was eagerly awaiting your response, having read other recent reviews from dissatisfied customers and, consequently, your sometimes scathing comments. Certainly, with my review, I'm not asking you to acquire the ability to read minds, but perhaps to adopt an alternative approach to customer service... perhaps by repeatedly asking, "Who booked?", and thus better managing the flow of customers. I spoke of respect, because the good Lorenzo, after our complaints, didn't offer even the slightest apology. He faked a smile accompanied by a wish for a good evening, which, in my opinion, almost seemed like a joke (but it was certainly my impression, dictated by my desire to sit down and dine). Your apologies, however, were timely and, in my opinion, sincere. I'll just point out that the "incriminated" dish wasn't remade because it wasn't requested and unnecessary, but was simply rightfully removed from the bill. I'm not a "the customer is always right" person, as I've served thousands of customers, even annoying ones, over the course of nearly 10 years (in à la carte seafood restaurants). This is a circumstance that obviously neither you nor your staff can know. Precisely because of this, you should take the necessary precautions and always be courteous, as you never know who you're about to serve at any given moment...perhaps someone unfamiliar with the job, or perhaps someone who has worked or still works in hospitality. For example, at my table was a woman who has owned and managed her own bar for 15 years... Beyond this, the review expresses a personal opinion, which remains such...with the right of reply that you deserve. I gave the food almost the highest rating, and I also had kind words for you, precisely because we appreciated how you handled the situation—that is, meeting in person at the table and apologizing in person. Sometimes you don't need superpowers, just a little humanity and sincerity, which you've demonstrated. I'm sorry if I've gone on too long in my comment, but I wanted to clarify these points to avoid misunderstandings. For the rest, I wish you the best in your work, with the hope that your collaborators may see in you a leader from whom they can draw inspiration and perhaps even try to match their work.

16/11/2025: I was a guest at a birthday dinner. The food was good, and the beers were good. My only complaint was that they served a burnt steak, which was then replaced after I reported it to the waitress. I'd say it was good.

09/08/2025: We stopped by chance for some gelato, and I have to say, it was spectacular! Artisanal, fair prices, and generous quantities. A must-try for anyone passing through!

17/09/2025: [updated 09/16/2025] I'm a regular. I've stayed at the Tavernelle Hotel and Restaurant several times, and I pride myself on knowing the people who work there thoroughly, or at least getting to know them enough to return not just for lodging but for a "visit." Although it's not the most glamorous place, with the comforts of a hotel, I felt at home. I felt at home in a place I'm unfamiliar with, far from where I live. I ate well, as if my mother were cooking for me. I ate really, really well (I repeat). The rooms, though sometimes small, were more than adequate. The sheets were always clean and smelled fresh. The bathrooms were impeccable. The staff was friendly and courteous from the very first moment. Once we got to know them better, Cinzia and Mauro proved to be lovely people. Mauro sometimes has strange theories, but he makes me laugh, so that's fine. Perhaps I could use a fresh coat of paint. It looks like a neglected place, but in reality it isn't. The parking lot is very rough, but it does what it's supposed to. I've attached a few photos from one of the many times I was hungry, and I wasn't disappointed.

20/11/2025: Spectacular place, the guys are kind and always smiling… (a rare thing these days); they're attentive to every need, starting with the owner. The food is a real treat… Debora is a chef with a capital C. I highly recommend it!!!!

14/11/2025: Not bad: a well-kept and welcoming place, a lovely atmosphere, and very friendly, kind, and attentive staff. The platter was generous and of good quality, and the meatballs were truly delicious. They were also very kind because they paid attention to the details of the aperitif, and something that hadn't happened in a while, they even offered us a gin and tonic at the end! Well done!

24/10/2025: Very kind, nice place and good pizza

05/10/2025: I bought three takeout pizzas, two from the menu and one with a speck base for €8.50 + burrata for €3.00 + cherry tomatoes for €2.00 + chopped pistachios for €3.00 for a total of €16.50. A real steal (it's inconceivable that a burrata costs exactly the same as a teaspoon of chopped pistachios and that 4 cherry tomatoes on a pizza is an additional €2.00). The pizzas were good, but the pizza that was supposed to be the least expensive was ridiculously overpriced. I definitely won't be getting takeout from this place again.

10/08/2025: Cleanliness isn't one of their "obsessions." Too bad! Update 10/8/2025 I can confirm that cleanliness isn't king here; the ice cream spoon was sticky, and lipstick marks were in the coffee cup. The ice cream salad doesn't even remotely match the photos on the menu. This evening I paid a €6.50 fruit salad surcharge on the ice cream, but the fruit salad was this: 4 tiny pieces of watermelon, 3 microscopic peach slices, 3 tiny pieces of apple, and 1 grape—all in the amount of a soup spoon. When I complained, the (very kind) girls replied that these were the owner's guidelines.

10/11/2025: We went to this restaurant on Saturday because we were nearby. I really liked the service and the bread they served was delicious and fresh. The wine was also very good, but the meat was very raw. I asked for it medium-rare, but not burnt on the outside, and the waitress told me that wasn't possible because if I wanted it more cooked, it would burn on the outside. So I had to take the meat home. The octopus and the sausages were very good, though; I recommend it. The desserts were good too.

09/10/2025: Manu and his number one manager have been open for over 20 years now... always new doughs and pizzas. I asked for a strange pizza and I must say it was super good... takeaway fried food was good because it wasn't full of oil but a little raw for my taste... few parking spaces, who knows if they'll do takeaway soon... prices in line with other pizzerias...

20/09/2025: One "overcooked" pizza can be forgiven, but two are starting to seem like a strange coincidence. After the third, it's brought to the fore, but despite the sincere apologies, the fourth and fifth (pictured here) also have a black crust. I don't know if it's the oven's fault or the lady who runs it, but it's now certain that if I order the "Tonno impasto Napoli" (Naples-style tuna), I'll have to forgo a good portion of the crust... It's a shame because the pizza is very good and has plenty of ingredients.

17/10/2025: I was surprised! A very simple menu but with a lot of quality. One of the best burgers I've ever had, with very well-made bun and quality meat. Not to mention the nuggets, breaded chicken breast, not the classic fast food nuggets. The staff is very attentive to their customers. Congratulations. Highly recommended.

04/10/2025: Welcoming place, attentive and friendly service. Super crispy, succulent, and flavorful burger. Delicious ribs with crispy fries. Dog-friendly place 🐾🐾🐾

06/10/2025: The pizza is good, average, with decent ingredients and well-cooked. The service, however, needs work: it's inflexible and delivery times aren't always respected. Delivering earlier than the agreed-upon time may seem like a plus, but it's not always appreciated. Something (or someone) would deserve 4 stars, but with more attentive and organized service, the result would be decidedly better. Better.

31/07/2025: There were two of us, and around 7:30 PM we ordered a sausage and fries and a Margherita with buffalo mozzarella, both for takeout at 8:30 PM (I'd also been offered an 8 PM delivery). They arrived at 9 PM, cold, and the delivery guy charged me €20 without a receipt or anything. The quality of the pizza was worse than a frozen one.

09/10/2025: A lovely place located a stone's throw from Piazzotto Montevecchio, a little out of the way but worth a visit. The lady is friendly and the non-alcoholic aperitif they make is excellent. In short, if you want a quiet place to have a good aperitif and then eat lunch, stop here.

28/07/2025: Best bar in all of Bassano. It's not worth going to the bars in the center and paying to be treated like a number when you can come to these two gorgeous ladies and be treated like royalty. They even offered me shots. If you have any qualms about these two ladies, contact me privately.
