11/06/2026: Historic bar run with order and kindness. The upstairs space is lovely.

02/06/2026: Spacious place. I've been there several times with parents in wheelchairs, for whom there's plenty of room, and they've always been very attentive. The same was true today when I went with my medium-large dog. The owners are very kind, the waitresses are excellent. It's my favorite place when I'm downtown. The outdoor seating is great in any season, and in winter it's lovely to have coffee outside on mild days. Very good coffee.

10/05/2026: We stopped for an aperitif. The place is well-kept with a well-stocked bar with snacks. When ordering drinks, we specifically asked for something to eat, and the waitress said it was no problem. Absolutely sad: two small slices of toasted bread with some ketchup-like sauce and a small bag of chips. We had also asked for a sandwich: it was good, but it arrived different from what we had ordered. The place definitely could be improved.

12/07/2026: Last night, my partner, our two children, and I went to this restaurant. During the busiest time, we all stayed at our tables. When the restaurant began to empty because a concert was about to start in the square, the children moved to a free table next to ours to relax and chat. At that point, the waitress, at the owner's suggestion, asked us to move them because they wanted to keep that table available for any future customers. This surprised us, given that the children were well-behaved, weren't bothering anyone, and there were still several free tables in the restaurant, most of which remained empty even during the concert. We understand that each restaurant has the right to manage its tables as it sees fit, but in this situation, we felt unwelcome. It's a shame, because up until that point, the experience had been pleasant. This episode left us with a sense of lack of attention to families and hospitality toward customers.

14/02/2026: The pizzas are delicious and well-cooked, and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The only downside is that they don't keep much in stock, and the fried fish and desserts are sold out. But that can happen. Recommended.

01/08/2026: I've finally found a place where you can eat excellently (a rarity these days)!!! Everything is homemade with passion and quality!! Attentive and fast service, always accompanied by a smile!! Kudos to Paola and the staff, thank you 🥂

23/07/2026: If I could, I'd give it a zero! We booked because they told us the food was good. When we arrived, we were seated on benches outside under a festival-style tent, shared with other people. The waitresses were smoking, eating, and telling stories. Fixed menu, terrible, poor food. I asked why they weren't told this was the service during the fair. The answer: we have nothing to do with the fair, we are La Stella d'Oro. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything golden about it already.

20/03/2026: I highly recommend it... the cuisine is unpredictable... the tartare with carbonara sauce is excellent... the rice with black garlic and katsuobushi is cooked to perfection and has a distinctive flavor... just outside the historic center, it's worth it also for the ambiance and the fact that you can chat at the table without too much disturbing noise.

25/02/2026: It's one of those places that aren't just restaurants, but refuges. I go there when I want to share: a romantic dinner, an evening with friends, a family lunch... but also when I want to be alone without feeling lonely. There, you'll always find a welcoming atmosphere and people who make you feel at home. And the food speaks for itself: quality ingredients, authentic flavors, dishes that feel thoughtful and made with love. Every time, I leave with a full heart, not just a full stomach. A PLACE TO LIVE!

18/01/2026: The atmosphere is quite run-down, the service is poor, and when you walk in, it seems like you're bothering them: they don't even ask what you want to order, and it can take 20 minutes to get a kebab when they're free. The young guy also doesn't know how to calculate; more than once, he gave me the wrong change, which, inevitably, was always less than the correct change. This place is not recommended and should be avoided.
