04/06/2025: The hotel smelled awful. The hallways smelled so bad I became sick every morning after breakfast. Multiple people in my group had to have their rooms changed because the stench was so bad. Their bathtubs wouldn’t drain or they drained onto the bathroom floor. Rooms are small and do not look like the advertising.

01/06/2025: See photos - this is supposed to be a “4 star hotel”. Hole in skirting board, stains in lamp shade, black mold in bathroom. Reported to staff, they don’t care. Payment card got scammed at the bar and when we questioned it the bar staff very aggressive, called husband “foolish” amongst other things even though we showed it going through twice.

20/05/2025: A really perfect kiosk for an aperitif break! We stopped by chance and it turned out to be a wonderful discovery: excellent cocktails, well prepared and served with care, all accompanied by a splendid view of the canal that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. The girls who served us were very kind and very helpful, always with a smile and ready to advise. A simple place but with an extra edge, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a quality moment. We will definitely be back for another aperitif!

11/05/2025: Small corner overlooking the lagoon perfect for a relaxing break. The waiters are kind and friendly, the atmosphere is quiet and welcoming. Great for a spritz or a coffee with a view. Recommended for those looking for a break away from the tourist chaos!

11/06/2025: Best dinner in Venice hands down! Lovely atmosphere, best food, and extensive wine list. Also big shout out to our polyglot waiter Samuel for conducting the dinner in Spanish. Truly remarkable!

06/06/2025: While the service borders on excellence in its kindness and sincere attention, the rest of the experience struggles to keep up. This is a far cry from the standards required by the Michelin Guide. The setting, while charming in some respects, nevertheless suffers from a slightly gloomy atmosphere, as if the establishment were wavering between cozy intimacy and soulless decor. As for the menu, it stands out more for its brevity than its creativity. The selection is reduced to a meager portion, and the food, unfortunately, fails to make up for this lack of inspiration. The cuisine, while not unworthy, falls far short of the expectations a Michelin star arouses. The conventional dishes lack precision, depth, and, above all, emotion. We expected a sensory journey; instead, we witnessed a simple, forgettable stopover. The staff, smiling and attentive, remains the true strength of the establishment. But, on its own, it cannot carry the promise of a great restaurant.

29/05/2025: Basegone è una tappa fissa tutte le volte che sono a Venezia, vetrina di cicchetti sempre fornita che cambia con la stagionalità, ottimi vini e spritz tradizionali e anche qualcosa di diverso come qualello con il P31 o il rabarbaro. Staff gentile e disponibile che ti fa sentire parte di una famiglia! Prezzi onesti e tavoli per rilassarsi disponibili 😊

20/05/2025: A great spot away from the crowds. Had a nice meal with vino. Not the cheapest but a menu that varied enough instead of the same old pizza and pasta. Anthony looked after us and was great to talk to.

01/06/2025: Paramos aquí varias veces a lo largo de nuestro viaje para un bocado rápido y barato para el almuerzo. Para las dos veces que comimos aquí (varias rebanadas de pizza para dividir y aguas) , el coste era inferior a 25€ . Es pequeño por dentro, pero siempre encontramos un lugar para sentarse, aunque éramos un grupo de 2. La pizza es fresca y tienen una variedad de opciones (incluyendo vegetariano! ).

19/05/2025: Pedimos un par de rebanadas de pizza aquí y fueron las mejores que he probado. Buena experiencia con la música, vendedores sonrientes y un lugar acogedor, nos encantó!

24/05/2025: Camping is still possible here. It's a small, well-located campsite. Restrooms are very clean. There's no restaurant or shop on site, but everything you need is within a few minutes' walk. We're happy with our stay.

24/05/2025: Very nice place with a good atmosphere and nice service. There were really a lot of calamari so I was stuffed with them as a main course. The food tasted great and wasn't super expensive, compared to the competition they are very good. Very positive service I recommend it💕

28/04/2025: 1 star because you can't say less, a truly embarrassing experience, the owner of the place is super rude and rude, he sent us away from the place as soon as we stopped consuming because we were playing a board game that wasn't banned anywhere (even though we were already playing as soon as we arrived). After our explanations he was no longer able to justify his request to us, he simply insisted. According to him we couldn't play because the bar is his, he decides and we do what he wants, apparently dictatorship still exists in this bar, the world evolves but apparently some people don't

06/05/2025: Very friendly staff. The location right on the beach, the beautiful view and the delicious food made our lunch breaks on vacation wonderful.
