18/11/2024: I had dinner here last August. The owners are so accommodating and super friendly. The fried pork chop is definitely on another level with the vinegar finish. My wife ate a pasta dish with blue cheese sauce that was out of this world. The fried pork chop is large enough for 2 people so we had left overs. The pork chop was still good the following day even at room temperature. Thank you for an amazing night!

26/12/2024: Je ne peux que conseiller. Tout des plats typiques vénitiens. Sarde in saor, Moscardini et un choix de chiqueti délicieux. En plus le vin est bon et le patron est sympa et très pro. Pour une addition très raisonnable. J’y retournerai au plus vite.

14/11/2024: RUDE AND ARGUMENTATIVE STAFF MEMBER! I visited this restaurant recently and was shocked with how rude and argumentative one of the staff members were towards me. I was told that the restaurant had fresh lobster and so I ordered the Fettuccine with lobster for €25.00. When I received my meal it looked and smelt delicious but when I tasted it, the lobster was not soft but chewy and I physically couldn’t eat it. When I went to tell the member of staff that could speak English, I was told that I don’t know what I am talking about and that in his 20+ years of working there, he has never had a complaint and that his lobster is fresh and that fresh lobster is supposed to be chewy. At this point I was still trying to be polite even though he wanted to argue and shout, but told him that I have had fresh lobster quite a few times now and are fully aware that fresh lobster is not supposed to be rubbery or chewy. I ended up asking if I could just swap my meal for another pasta dish and he agreed. I don’t know how it works in Venice but I have never heard of paying for a meal that I physically couldn’t eat due to the chef’s cooking. In the end he had put the lobster fettuccine on the bill and after saying that it was my problem and not listening to what I had to say, I ended up just paying for it even though I really shouldn’t have. Personally I would NEVER go to this restaurant again because of how rude he was and I just want to make people aware.

25/11/2024: We tried the pizza here given the good reviews and the offer of pizza for 6 euros. You pay 6 euros in cash, which becomes 7 if you pay with a debit card... No receipt, but a copy of the order... ok... speaking of the pizzas: we didn't like them... neither the base nor the filling ( mine was with cooked ham and it wasn't good at all). I'm sorry but we won't buy it again.

15/09/2024: I enjoyed an excellent lunch on the beach looking at the sea. Even though I was a customer during the weekend of one of the days of the Venice film festival, the service at lunch was fast and kind. The tartare I chose was really good. Excellent service on the beach and at more than affordable daily prices.

02/05/2024: Racconto delle mie impressioni. Ambiente poco curato, l’ingresso e le sale sono un mix di anni ‘80 e finto moderno, mattonelle attaccate storte sui muri, targhette stampate su fogli bianchi, vecchie tovaglie rosa sui carrelli e nessuna tovaglia sui tavoli, luci bianche, cavi scoperti e antichi cimeli dipinti di grigio su un caminetto chiuso colorato a metà. Piatti semplici, niente di memorabile, anzi. Mi ricordo i dieci grani interi di pepe che ho mangiato sui paccheri lisci e che ovviamente hanno sovrastato ogni altro gusto. Ingredienti normali, tutto replicabile a casa con i prodotti del supermercato. Niente mi ha dato la sensazione di essere davvero ricercato o di qualità (o di ritrovare la tanto amata Puglia, come mi aspettavo dalle presentazioni). Magari lo era, ma i sapori erano scarsi. Il polpo era amaro, il pak-choi è ancora fuori stagione, fa troppo freddo e si sente. Di certo i piatti non valgono i 18-20€ proposti. Vini presenti in carta (senza annate), ma non disponibili realmente in cantina. Scarsissima la selezione locale. Servizio distaccato, zero empatia o attenzioni, piuttosto molta fretta. Non ci tornerei.

25/12/2024: TO BE HONEST, THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE You see it's not that people cannot afford 14 euros plate no people can afford more than that. but when it is not worth 14 euros per plate then we have a problem okay. I only go there to buy things that I know they are worth with five euros. I bought them then I move on. In addition, the food is very cost very very cost what I mean is very expensive food, Compare to other restaurants in the same locations. I think they need to work on the quality 14 euros per plate.
