The best restaurant in Venice! It's a fantastic experience every time. Authentic Venetian atmosphere.

I was so lucky to find a great restaurant in Venice that was friendly to tourists. Even though the menu was only in Italian, the staff were happy to answer my questions. The fried seafood was incredibly crispy and sweet – an unforgettable experience! The risotto was also delicious. 👍👍👍

Excellent food, authentic environment, just perfect!

The first time we went for dinner was 40 years ago. I don't remember the food we ate, but I do remember the cold and eating at a very long table with people we didn't know. We haven't been back for these two reasons, but we tried again a few days ago to celebrate a birthday, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The place has remained the same, retaining the spirit of the tavern, except now you can eat at separate tables just for yourself. The service is entirely managed by young people who rush between the tables; the kitchen and waiters are incredibly fast. We had the sautéed mussels, clams, and prawns with garlic bread, which was exquisite. It's been years since I've had the homemade bigoli with squid ink, and I must say they were fantastic too. For main courses, the monkfish with baked chips and broccoli (excellent) and the classic fried food, which stands out from the others because of the clean, new oil. I had to reconsider my impression of Paradiso Perduto; it's a great place to eat traditional Venetian cuisine. I'll be happy to return!

Amazing fried fish, ink squid risotto average. Fair price for Venice area. I went after 2pm and there's no wait for a table.

The atmosphere is truly beautiful, informal and colorful, welcoming and relaxing. We came here on a busy Easter Monday evening, with some menu items unavailable, inattentive service, and somewhat long waits, but the staff made up for it anyway—well done. Tasty dishes, quality ingredients. Recommended, but be patient if it's busy.

I've been going there since it opened in the early '70s; in fact, I used to play there. A typical Venetian "alternative" establishment. Very easygoing service, good food, reasonable prices, and it doesn't exploit its fame. Always crowded. It's an experience.
