06/06/2025: While the service borders on excellence in its kindness and sincere attention, the rest of the experience struggles to keep up. This is a far cry from the standards required by the Michelin Guide. The setting, while charming in some respects, nevertheless suffers from a slightly gloomy atmosphere, as if the establishment were wavering between cozy intimacy and soulless decor. As for the menu, it stands out more for its brevity than its creativity. The selection is reduced to a meager portion, and the food, unfortunately, fails to make up for this lack of inspiration. The cuisine, while not unworthy, falls far short of the expectations a Michelin star arouses. The conventional dishes lack precision, depth, and, above all, emotion. We expected a sensory journey; instead, we witnessed a simple, forgettable stopover. The staff, smiling and attentive, remains the true strength of the establishment. But, on its own, it cannot carry the promise of a great restaurant.

29/04/2025: A me sinceramente dispiace fare le recensioni negative ma purtroppo in questo caso non ho molta scelta. Io ho visto una ragazza che pubblicizzava in maniera entusiasta il locale su Instagram e mi sono incuriosita. Purtroppo però...è stato molto deludente...un flop totale: per i prezzi alti che fanno pagare la qualità e il servizio è assolutamente scarso (tra l'altro appena arrivi ti investe un odore di fogna poco gradevole siccome per prima cosa all'entrata c'è il bagno). Oltre ai tempi lunghissimi ...(solo mia figlia grande mangiava...in solitaria...una tristezza...e noi altri tre abbiamo mangiato dopo oltre 40 minuti...e avevamo anche il dubbio che la cameriera avesse pure sbagliato tavolo con l'unica pietanza portata) la qualità del cibo è assolutamente mediocre...abbiamo mangiato tanto pane...e tutto troppo caro per quello che ci è stato dato. C'era molta gente arrabbiata e ho sentito un cameriere dire che uno dei cuochi non si era presentato la mattina stessa (chissà come mai...)...ma purtroppo non ne possono subire le conseguenze i clienti. Ad alcuni hanno portato cibo x scusarsi dell'attesa...a noi (forse perché non eravamo clienti abituali) no. Nel momento del conto assolutamente salato...abbiamo dovuto verificare le pietanze perché avevano il dubbio di aver sbagliato (4 antipasti e 4 primi...2 di acqua...4 caffè e 25 euro di una bottiglia di prosecco...TOTALE 150 EURO...UNA ESAGERAZIONE ASSOLUTA)...e nessuno ci ha fatto delle doverose scuse per tutto il disagio. L'abbiamo buttata sul ridere...ma c'era solo da piangere!!!!

04/05/2025: I went today to eat pizza and I would say the homemade tiramisu was excellent, the staff were excellent, very kind and friendly, I would say top marks, we are more than happy to go back ❤️

24/05/2025: Super welcoming atmosphere and staff!!! Even though the kitchen was already closed, they welcomed us with great kindness and availability, offered an exquisite dinner and even with hot dishes. Everything delicious! A place with a big heart and soul.

28/02/2025: Giancarlo and Giovanna, in addition to being two friends, are also professional and capable people in their work. The food offered is always made with care and served with attention. Ditto for the drinks, which Giancarlo can also offer based on your tastes. All the staff should be rewarded because they are always smiling and never fail to say hello. Top Salento specialties, but we're biased!

22/06/2025: Dogs not welcome – meaning neither were we! What a shame. We were out in town with our dog on Saturday evening and wanted to visit a restaurant near Campo San Stefano, which we had already visited on previous visits. Two of the five tables for two were still free outside. When we asked if we could enjoy dinner there, the waiter told us that we were welcome, but the dog had to wear a muzzle... and this in 30-degree heat! That hasn't happened to us in Venice or anywhere else in Italy. It's a real shame, as we've actually had very good experiences with the restaurant on our last three visits. Another restaurant on the Campo accepted us with our dog without any problems - the muzzle was not an issue, of course. By the way, our dog is an almost 10-year-old female Golden Retriever. This breed isn't exactly known for being aggressive or a fighting dog...

08/06/2025: Food quality is really low, especially considering prices. However, this restaurant is a stop in the cruise to Venice, which makes it a very convenient place, hence why we stopped. Overall, I would recommend just dining somewhere else a bit earlier.
