06/03/2026: It's a small pizzeria, not a huge one, 80s-style. It was my first time there. I had pizza, but everyone said the pizza chef had changed and the pizza was different. I thought it was good, not Neapolitan style with a thick crust, but a regular pizza with quality ingredients, and you could taste it. Then there were some mistakes with the reservation, but... we laughed it off, maybe because we're not that fussy about formality. The food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable compared to my Lombardy standards. The staff was helpful, polite, and some were informal.

03/04/2026: Had an early dinner, 4:00. The restaurant was empty, but open. We had the sea bass with roasted vegetables and an artichoke on the side. The pino gregio was excellent. We were offered bread sticks, bread and olive oil. The food was perfecto. For desert we had tiramisu and we were offered lemon cello complimentary. A wonderful meal and time

23/10/2025: I highly recommend this pizzeria. The pizzas are excellent, reasonably priced, and there's a wide selection. We were welcomed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They were a lifesaver on a stormy evening when everything was closed!

06/04/2026: Came here because of the great reviews and waited in line for 20 minutes. When it was finally my turn, the Italian man working there let another older Italian man cut in front of the entire line without saying a word. Incredibly rude and disrespectful to everyone who had been waiting. Not sure why this place is so highly rated — it clearly relies on tourists but doesn’t treat them well.

06/04/2026: Pasticceria Dal Mas is a historic Venetian establishment. It's often crowded and there are no tables. We ate standing at the counter. The service, however, was friendly. We tried a chocolate Kranz (paid by weight). It cost €6.80 and was disappointing. It was rather dry, almost stale, although the flavor wasn't bad. The Venetian fugassetta, on the other hand, was exceptional: incredibly soft and still warm inside. Truly delicious. Would I go back? Only for the fugassetta and a quick coffee.

24/02/2026: Cute little shop in the heart of Chioggia! They only serve Margherita pizza and it's delicious! Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but that's part of the experience. It's super tasty and you pay by weight.

14/02/2026: It's an experience beyond the usual takeout. The lines are unbelievable, but the philosophy for those waiting is to take the time to escape the frenetic pace of modern life and enter a small, ancient world of craftsmanship and decades-old tradition. Even watching the pizza chef prepare and bake the pizza takes us back to another era. And it's also a chance to chat with the people there. A return to the past that leaves a lasting impression. It reminds me of the old bakeries of Venice in the '60s and '70s, when I used to go with my parents to visit my uncle, who was a baker, getting up at 2 a.m. The effort and dedication to making the best bread possible. In short, if you're not in a hurry to eat, dedicate an hour and put your phone in your pocket. The spectacle is always the same, but timeless.

15/01/2026: I've known Passaparola since they opened in the early '90s, and it's never disappointed me. An excellent pizza bar serving pan pizza and all sorts of delicacies, like bruschetta and super-stuffed sandwiches. Add Hoegaarden on tap and...what else?

14/02/2026: I go there practically every day, for breakfast, lunch, or just for a coffee at various times of the day. The staff is amazing: fast, kind, smiling, and empathetic. They're wonderful people and not only provide you with excellent products and service, but also provide a warm, family-like experience. Highly recommended. The Pala Romana, Pane Nuvola, and Focaccia are products I absolutely recommend. Kudos to the entire staff.

The mixed antipasto is top-notch, and the spaghetti alla busara is top-notch. Tommaso, the perfect host, is the real asset of his establishment.

20/12/2025: Place was clean, friendly, and popular. Nobody was trying to entice us inside the food simply just spoke for itself. I highly recommend the chicken nachos with some chips and queso.

11/12/2025: What a delightful surprise located int eh bustle streets of Venice closer to the train station. The nachos/taquitos were so savory with great tastes. Huge burrito so either come hungry or be prepared for leftovers. The margaritas were absolutely perfect! Highly recommend if anyone wants to take a break from the other delicious Italian dishes.
