Staff was very helpful and nice. We arrived around 6pm with no reservation and were able to be seated immediately. That is before the typical dinner crowd, after 7pm, I would suggest a reservation. The food was excellent.

Despite its proximity to San Marco, it's a very pleasant place with an authentic Venetian feel. The food is excellent, and the staff recommends Venetian specialties. It has a vintage atmosphere. It's an incredibly charming place. A plus is the frequent sight of gondoliers on their lunch break, chatting loudly in Italian, making you feel like you're witnessing normal life in Venice.

On the recommendation of "connoisseur friends," we booked a lunch during a weekend in Venice. I must say, it was an authentic Venetian culinary experience! It's a genuine trattoria with authentic Venetian dishes, excellent, expertly prepared ingredients, and authentic flavors. A fantastic experience!

Lunch...with the gondoliers, who came in large numbers. Numerous traditional dishes were offered, along with a well-illustrated off-menu (including price) based on the day's catch. The bigoli in salsa were excellent, preceded by the sardines in saor.

Very tasty and authentic. The polenta turned out to be semolina, but it still pairs very well with the dishes.
Besides the main courses, the appetizers are definitely worth trying.

A Venetian trattoria with a traditional soul and authentic atmosphere, yet with exceptionally youthful service, a selection of natural wines passionately curated by the team, and top-quality ingredients.
The creamed cod is delicious, the raw amberjack and sea bass (not included in the menu) are exceptional, and the spaghetti with black cuttlefish and candied lemon is delicious.
The prices aren't cheap, but they're justified by the location and the ingredients.
Honorable mention for welcoming us to a large table late on a Sunday, where Ros looked after us with kindness and passion.

Recommended by our gondola guide. Seemed like a local spot with great food. We got the squid in spaghetti and gnocchi with crab sauce. The gnocchi was the softest gnocchi we’ve ever had!
