Both were very delicious, the waiters were very nice. The food was prepared quickly, we were eating in about 5 minutes after ordering!

13/11/2025: Popular spot among students. They offer sandwiches, toasts, eggs, and pancakes until around 10. Portions are small, but the staff is friendly and welcoming.
08/11/2025: Caconero was my favorite place in Venice. Why? Because you feel completely at ease there – thanks to the friendliness and warmth of the staff and the quality of the food and wine.
It's located away from the tourist crowds in Dorsoduro, and instead of Venice's standard menu, you'll find a different, more creative, yet deeply Italian cuisine, prepared with great care.
I already miss it as I write this, so I hope to see you again soon, and mille grazie!

The employees were much more interested in each other and having a long conversation, insteed to take care of the customer… They put the cakes into a paper bag. he asked back four times that what I exactly want. Putting wraps and paper around several cakes, but finally when I offered the cakes to my family on the street it turned out not all was packed. it is really disappointing. Doing it 10 times a day makes this a really nice extra income…

I recommend warming up first; the place was cold, and we all ate with our coats on.

Very good and beautifully presented food.

22/11/2025: A simple, clean, and welcoming place. Excellent food and friendly staff. We ate everything from appetizers to main courses, all seafood. I don't know the price since we were guests of friends, but looking at the menu, I'd say that despite not being on the main road to San Marco, they were in line with other establishments. It's a shame you no longer find the classic Venetian innkeeper with their usual style, but only foreign owners, who were nevertheless very professional.

The breakfast is plentiful.
Great parking behind the house, especially ideal for travelers with dogs.
Since it's a bit out of town, you'll need a car to get to the beach and the town center.

The portions were generous, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those who love good seafood and want a quality evening.
28/10/2025: Dear ones with high prices, a grilled dish consisting of a hen, a sole, a squid, a cuttlefish, a piece of polenta, 28 euros, they will never see me again.

21/09/2025: A welcoming place, well-appointed tables, and a very interesting menu featuring locally sourced and organic ingredients. Meticulously prepared dishes, short wait times, and excellent value for money.
Vegetarians, vegans, and celiacs will also find something to satisfy their palates.
13/09/2025: The food is always good, although it's best to get there early for dinner, as you won't find a table even along the road unless you're quite far away. Arriving knowing there are two charging stations (therefore four connections) occupied by regular cars is extremely disrespectful in several respects and a serious disservice. Don't install them if you can't guarantee them. The service managers will be happy, and I'll have to report the inability to access them during peak hours.

19/10/2025: I was there 30 years ago. It was very good then, as it is now.
18/10/2025: The food is very, very, very delicious, and the service is truly great. I'm happy every October that it's still open, and sad in April that it's still closed.
Even if I go there three days in a row, I always find something particularly good to eat.
It never gets boring; the presentation of the food alone is a feast for the eyes.
