20/07/2025: It's really great that there's a purely vegan restaurant in Venice. To all vegan Viennese, I think this restaurant is comparable to "Tisch" and "Velani" in terms of quality, enjoyment, and price. It's definitely worth a visit and truly delicious; I highly recommend it!

18/07/2025: Lucky to find a vegan restaurant in Venice. Nice restaurant in a quiet locality. Food and drinks were good. The only thing I was not able to understand on what basis they choose to whom they offer the special menu? This bias spoiled my mood and changed my views towards this restaurant.

10/09/2025: Yesterday I went to dinner with my family at Le Due Palme after four years of not being in Bibione. I ordered baked pasta! What I received was a plate containing a shapeless mass of substances! The pasta sheets had become a creamy mixture like semolina, and the meat was like, "What the heck is that?"...truly disgusting! I immediately called the waiter, who was very kind and polite like everyone else, and told him that I didn't like the lasagna because it was disgusting. So I asked for a plate of macaroni au gratin instead. Two minutes later, I received a plate of rigatoni with a slice of rubbery cheese on top, and the sauce consisted of an excessive amount of pink béchamel sauce...truly disgusting, along with some black, therefore old, mushrooms. I put some of this rigatoni in the dog's bowl, and he didn't even try it! Then I ordered a mixed fry, which was decent, along with some terrible-quality French fries. The potatoes were floury and tasted soggy! I'm sorry for this review, but four years ago the food was much better. Now that it's September, the clientele is 70-80% Germans and Austrians, who don't even know what to expect. They know our cuisine well! The prices have gone up, and the quality of the food, as far as I'm concerned, is poor. The best thing on my menu was the Lemonsoda! When paying, I only mentioned the baked pasta to the owner, which was inedible. She, a little annoyed, asked me if I'd tried it? And they sell a lot of this type of pasta! I'd rather not comment further; a simple "sorry" would have been enough. A truly awful experience.

09/09/2025: The meal was disgusting. The meat was tasteless. Disgusting. I don't think I've ever eaten anything worse. My daughter's fish and chips were made to order, dry, and probably stale. Even the orange juice was disgusting. After the visit, I had a sour taste in my mouth, so they also had dirty dishes.

31/05/2025: The food, hospitality, and location were simply wonderful. We had a reservation and I'm glad we did, as most of the outdoor seating was taken when we arrived at 19:30 on a Tuesday. The interior was fresh and inviting, but it was a perfect night for outdoor dining. Service was impeccable (one of the young owners). There were a number of tempting choices and Marco was very helpful. My wife split a generous mixed salad then she had the grilled sea bass while I relished the perfectly-grilled octopus. The flaming chocolate dessert is a must-do. The house white wine was nicely balanced, as we did not want a whole bottle after aperitivos. We appreciated that the restaurant is in a less busy section of Piazza Santa Margherita, so foot traffic was nowhere close to the nicely-spaced tables. A "must-do" restaurant which is doing everything right.

07/09/2025: Fantastic place!! The sandwiches and fried food are excellent!!! The staff is friendly and fun: there's always a festive atmosphere! Excellent value. Only one caveat: being right next to an intersection, especially in the summer, isn't ideal, but the smiles of the staff make up for it!

16/08/2025: Great place and food, too. The only downside is the staff. I came with my partner for breakfast and asked the barista for two croissants, asking for a chocolate one. When I asked, "Do you need a Nutella one?" Since I'm allergic, I had to make sure it was chocolate. When I asked, the barista responded in a rude, grumpy, obnoxious, listless, and snorting manner, continuing to complain incessantly. I was completely disgusted.

29/08/2025: I went there with a friend while walking in Venice and honestly it felt like stepping into some old time, like history was around, wooden beams and those copper pots, bottles all over, I got distracted looking at them and forgot to order first. The food was simple, ciccheti, meatballs, baccalà, small sandwiches, nothing fancy but really good taste, like you just keep eating one more bite, and I think I repeated myself like three times saying it was fresh. The wine came in those tiny glasses, local one, not too strong, and maybe I spilled a bit on the table, can’t remember, but it fit perfect with the food, very venetian vibe. Prices are a bit higher, I thought at first too much, but then again you kind of pay for the story, for the whole thing, like paying extra for feeling in another century. Staff was casual, they didn’t talk too much, one of them with a blue shirt looked in a rush but still pointed us to the right plates when we were lost, and that felt real, not rehearsed. I keep thinking I would go back, maybe just for wine and snacks again, because that mix of history and taste stayed in my head.

17/08/2025: Very nice view, tasty food (tried caccio and pepe, pasta is very good, however it’s not a classic caccio and pepe), friendly personnel. Definitely a high score restaurant.

08/08/2025: A prime location, excellent for a beautiful sunset. The sun doesn't shine directly on you, giving you an unbeatable view... The food wasn't just good, it was delicious! Flavio treated us like royalty. He was the best waiter we've ever met in all of Italy. He recommended nothing but excellent dishes... octopus has no mother or grandmother! Highly recommended!

30/05/2025: A restaurant on the Riviera del Brenta with a history of over a hundred years. Claudia offers cuisine from the Venetian area. Don't miss the spider crab prepared ready to be tasted by expert hands that extract all the pulp. The sardines in saor are a delicacy. Clams and other MOLLUSCS in their shells are small works of art. In the evening it is better to book.
