13/08/2024: Rotisserie that has nothing to envy of Venetian restaurants, since the quality of what you eat at Gislon is very high and the prices are competitive. They range from fish-based dishes, cooked to perfection, to fried foods, among which the mozzarella in carrozza with anchovies stands out. Don't forget the sandwiches, for which you don't skimp on the stuffing. Very honest prices, fast and efficient service. What can I say, I almost had a lunch subscription during the Venice tour.

01/11/2024: Invitati per un'occasione veramente molto speciale è stata una bellissima sorpresa essere in questo bellissimo ristorante!! Servizio curato alla perfezione, tutto molto pulito e ordinato e, soprattutto, cibo ottimo, anzi, superbo! E' stato veramente favoloso poter assaporare il gusto di alcuni tipi di pesce che non sentivo più da anni!! Ed è stato soprattutto un grande piacere per mio marito che è stato Capo Chef Executive in alberghi e ristoranti gran lusso trovare finalmente un ristorante di grande livello alla portata di tutti!! Mi auguro che se dovessimo tornare, di trovare lo stesso trattamento!!

01/09/2024: Very nice rooms, very efficient air conditioning, very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the biggest disadvantage is breakfast, which has to be ordered at the reception from a ready list of products, and there is not much choice and they are brought to the rooms, but only at 9.00. Not only are they extremely plentiful, but they are also not very tasty.

05/12/2024: We had three wonderful days in Venice. The hotel is perfect for a trip to the lagoon city, the approach by boat at 10.30 is great. Good breakfast and great dinner in La Rondine, very friendly staff and motherly boss. Thank you for the nice vacation.

12/12/2024: Unacceptable Behavior and Offensive Service – 0/10 Our visit to this establishment, which we initially looked forward to, turned into an absolutely unacceptable experience due to the behavior of one of the employees. After being asked where we were from, the staff member proceeded to make offensive comments about our nationality, speak disrespectfully about our people, and insult the women of our country. Such displays of prejudice and hostility were shocking and completely unacceptable in any setting, especially in a customer service environment. This behavior completely ruined our experience and left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and I sincerely hope the management takes action to address this issue.
