22/05/2025: Overpriced and portions are tiny

21/05/2025: This was easily the worse meal my wife and I had between Rome, Tuscany, Florence and Venice. The starter was local marinated sardines with Venizian spices but was bland and the sardines terribly dry. My wife's fish was just OK but the recommended 10 euro side dish of artichoke was small, like one artichoke heart, overcooked, mushy and bland. My seafood spaghetti would have been good if it were not for 5 of the 11 clams in the dish either dead or not cook enough to open. When I commented about this to the waiter he quickly blew me off with his "I could care less you tourist" attitude. To top things off the bill came with a 10 euro per person cover charge. Outrageous. Big mistake that I hope no one else makes.

30/05/2025: We ordered a capriciosa pizza, and honestly, we expected more. It wasn't bad, but it's not what you expect when you're in Italy. The service was good, with friendly and attentive staff. We were surprised when it came to paying; they added a few euros extra for one of the drinks and for the cutlery. You always expect that what the menu says is what you get. This way, you avoid leaving with a strange feeling.

24/05/2025: If you are looking for a place to eat well and feel at home, this is the right place! The sandwiches are exceptional and the staff is always smiling and helpful. You absolutely have to try the onion rings, a real delight. Renato served us, a real gem of a person: very friendly.

09/06/2025: The chicchetti were okay, but the bread was very dry and not comparable to other places in the area. Perhaps that was because it was already 6:00 p.m. Overall, the seating was quite pleasant. The service was average. The Aperol Spritz was mediocre.

17/05/2025: We recently arrived at Porto San Felice and were immediately met with an unwelcoming and unfriendly atmosphere. Beyond the poor hospitality, we were deeply disturbed I and frankly appalled to see a picture of Benito Mussolini prominently displayed in the reception area. In Italy, where fascism caused immense suffering and loss, such a display is not only insensitive but also potentially illegal. Promoting fascist ideology in this manner is unacceptable in 2025 and made our stay incredibly uncomfortable. We strongly advise others to consider this before choosing to dock here.

05/05/2025: We had a very lovely dinner here last week. The food was expertly prepared with respect for the flavors of the fresh fish and ingredients. Service was excellent and friendly. We sat at a two-top against the window, which we thought was the best table in the restaurant. We made our reservation 4 or 5 months before our trip as this a very popular restaurant.

03/05/2025: Could not recommend Alle Testiere more! Recommend booking in advance, was fully booked when we went. The food was a revelation! Go if you love seafood. Mussels with leeks even though mussels had so much flavour; pilgrim scallops were presented so beautifully and so tasty; the warm calamari salad was like nothing we'd ever tasted before. Pastas were cooked perfectly and showcased the seafood perfectly. The staff were so friendly and helpful and recommended truly excellent wine. They gave us a great recommendation of Livy Wines to buy the small producer wines we drank and were lucky enough to pick up a couple of bottles from Livy Wines too. We shared the creme caramel and the panacotta for dessert. Truly a wonderful meal, have been recommending to everyone we meet!

08/05/2025: Informal place to have a dinner with friends. Go with at least four people because the portions are exaggerated. The waitress, a young girl, was very kind and nice, always ready with a joke. The only flaw is the lack of parking, there are few places to leave the car.

01/05/2025: Today I went to eat in this place for the first time having some doubts about the visual impact on the outside and the waiting times which many said were long, inside there is a familiar and relaxing atmosphere, as far as the waiting times are concerned I must say that given the portions of the beautiful and generous dishes the time that passes between one dish and another is just right to be able to assimilate the food without stuffing oneself. The food was very good from starters to desserts, praise goes to the waitress for her friendliness, kindness and way of treating customers, compliments also go to those who work in the kitchen for their excellent work. I'll be back.

The quality of the fish is very high, there is a lot of love and care in the dishes that are a delight for the palate and for the sight. The service is attentive and friendly. Truly exceptional. 25/05/2025: A restaurant of the highest culinary level. The menu is authentic: composed of traditional Venetian dishes with a touch of fantasy. Very fresh ingredients and impeccably prepared. We had the hot seafood appetizers and the raw food course followed by mixed fried fish of the day with Catalan-style lobster. Delicious desserts and an excellent wine list. Hats off to Chef Michele and his staff. We will definitely be back! Davide

29/03/2025: Small informal family-run restaurant with superlative fish dishes of excellent quality and excellent prices! The dishes must be chosen at the counter and composed according to your tastes and the variety is very wide. Great for a quick lunch but also for takeaway! And then the friendliness and company of Loris, Giorgia and Marusca complete everything!
