If you are in Venice and you want a good gelato, Gelateria S. Leonardo is a must-see. The gelato is really good, creamy and full of flavor, with a variety of flavors that pleases all palates. Another plus: the scoops are abundant! A more than generous portion that makes the quality/price ratio even more appreciable.
I am happy to have stopped here: it was a delicious break that made my walk through the streets even more pleasant. Highly recommended! 🍦
11/06/2025: Bell always on my guard in Venice when it comes to food and drinks but this ice cream is amazing. Nice portions, tasty cake and delicious soft ice cream for a normal price. Complimenti!

27/07/2025: Fantastic man from Albania who welcomed us, gave good information, was friendly and happy all the time. Gave us a lot of laughs when we got there after a six hour drive and it was very late. Paraviz who was in charge of breakfast, what a nice, nice, happy man. Extremely nice staff.
Different and fun hotel with cool features in the rooms, corridors etc etc. Book in advance, count on a 20min trip by boat bus.
27/07/2025: Everything was great. We felt at home from the moment we walked through the door. The service was exceptional (reception, waiters, facilities, etc.). Cleanliness. Good breakfast.

The girls at the counter were kind and quick with their service, the portions are generous, and there's a wide selection of flavors, including several vegan options. The gelato was truly excellent and creamy, I'll definitely be back to try other flavors!
09/08/2025: Fantastic ice cream shop, definitely worth a stop! 🍨 Huge selection of flavors – from classics to original combinations – all creamy, intense and full of flavor. The portions are generous and the ice cream is always perfectly fresh. I have never had better ice cream.

20/08/2025: We were looking for a small restaurant for 10 people and found the Ai Dogi pub. We were very well received and served very good pizzas. The service was top-notch. And the icing on the cake was a complimentary limoncello.

22/07/2025: Room was pleasant, fair view of the toen from balcony. Ac was weak so room was very hot and hard to sleep. Don't appreciate even a bottle of water costing. I do feel that at least a bottle should be complementary. Also a shame that no milk for coffee was Inc and no normal tea options.
Shower was good and room would of been fine for a few nights. We only slept for 4 hours due to an early flight and the temperature being uncomfortable. Shame. Staff were nice and restaurant below was very enjoyable for dinner.

06/08/2025: We accidentally came across Al Cafatier while looking for a restaurant based on a recommendation and we didn't regret it. Friendly hosts, excellent food, a restaurant that is not fancy but has soul. The prices are very affordable, so for a menu of salad, main course and drink you pay only €17 per person, which is cheap and the food is fresh and tasty and prepared quickly. When we come to Venice again, we will definitely come here for lunch

17/07/2025: Great small local place for Cicchetti. So far our favorite that we have found in Venice. Plan to go back before our trip is over. Great prices as well. We sampled quite a bit, got seconds on our favorite and two drinks for 30€ total.

27/08/2025: Of all the evenings I've spent at this restaurant, it was the best. You receive a warm welcome, and every single guest is looked after with great attention and humor until the very end. I can't understand any negative reviews.
I ordered an octopus salad, which was served with plenty of bread at no extra charge. The first course was the best lasagna in Venice! The crowning glory was a very fluffy tiramisu. Add to that the fantastic location on the canal – a perfect evening!
27/08/2025: It was very nice to have dinner with my family in this establishment. It seems to me that the owner of the establishment lives and breathes his business. Very warm and welcoming, extremely caring and gives a feeling of family comfort. I recommend going there!😉

27/07/2025: Just off the beaten path lies the most excellent pizza I've eaten on my Italia journey so far!
Excellent staff, cozy enviroment and well priced food especially for being in the centre of Venedig!
Strongly recommend the Prosciutto El funghi Pizza 🍕 and I've also heard that the Creme brulee is amazing!!!
They also gave us free limoncello digestivo after the food was finished, but I forgot to take a picture before I drank it.
