16/01/2026: I went last Saturday, and while prices have increased by 20%, neither the quantity nor the quality have improved. I suffered from the cold in the room, and the dessert was a warmed-up cookie with cream, not what I expected. I strongly advise against it.

12/01/2026: My partner and I had lunch yesterday, spending €170 for two appetizers, a first course, a second course, two glasses of wine, and two coffees. The appetizers were good, though a bit pricey for the portions. The pasta with lobster and black truffle was definitely tasty, but the price of €35 per dish is quite high. Unfortunately, the fried food was a huge disappointment: very heavy, the vegetables greasy, and the calamari hard and dry. The service didn't live up to the bill: the wine was poured into our glasses without being tasted first, the bread wasn't brought back to the table once it was finished, and the coffees arrived incorrectly. Overall, the quality was good but not commensurate with the prices, and the service could be more attentive, especially considering the restaurant's price range. For the same price, or for a little extra, you can definitely eat better at a Michelin-starred restaurant.

12/03/2026: Arrived to this place almost by chance, while walking towards the Arsenale. And man, am I glad we did. The food was excellent, and the staff so nice and accomodating. Both waitresses were attentive to my kid's allergies and made us feel welcome from the start. Kudos in particular to the brunette waitress (sorry, didn't get your name, but you know who you are) who not only spoke quite fluent Spanish (and, for what I could hear from the table next to us, English as well), but suggested some out of the menu dishes that were to die for. My wife and I shared the Caprese salad and the pasta with lobster, and for the kid we ordered a beef lasagna and a T-bone steak. I tried everything and, mamma mia! Obviously, the lasagna and the pasta were amazing, as is usual in italy. I dare say the lasagna was the best I've ever tasted, and the pasta was otherworldly, but the steak was also really good and tasty, and the Caprese was the perfect appetizer. For desserts, Tiramisu and Tartufo affogato with cofee. I had the latter, and wished I had ordered the tiramisu instead, but only because the tartufo is basically a chocolate ice-cream. As a coffee drinker, the quality of the coffee made the entire dessert for me... awesome! It is really difficult to not eat well in Venice, but I'd say Denis is the best place we ate at during our stay. Will recommend to anyone who wants to visit. 15/11/2025: Three different meals were picked up from a restaurant/pizzeria on two separate days without pre-ordering. The food was prepared quickly and very tastyally by a full team, despite the restaurant being packed.

26/10/2025: Away from the crowds, almost hidden. It seats no more than a dozen, but it's exactly the kind of place you're looking for when you're visiting a place that's overcrowded and full of tourist traps. It'll be a regular stop on your return to Venice.

19/10/2025: The best wine bar in Venice. Excellent service, just steps from Piazza San Marco. Lorenzon's Enoiteca la Caneva is a guarantee. A family atmosphere awaits.

23/02/2026: I've known this place for a long time. I've brought family, friends, and colleagues, and we've always been satisfied. Whether you're in the area or, like us, often visit Carole, don't waste your money on places in the historic center. They've all changed management. For years now, they've been run by unprofessional staff, with poor quality, catering to Nordic tourists, and, alas, inexperienced...unfortunately. Take a trip to Eden; the excellent quality, professional, friendly service make this historic place the best in the area. Try it, and like us, you'll definitely return. A special thanks to the young waitress, who is much more than just a waitress; her knowledge and courtesy have become rare. I speak as a staff manager. Well done 👍 💪

18/03/2026: Our host told us that this is THE place to eat meat in Cannaregio...and he wasn't wrong! A superb soft and juicy steak to share and not super expensive either. A bit out of the way but well worth the effort to visit - it has limited seating so worth booking in high season as it's reputation precedes it. That said, we got a walk-in on a Sunday evening in mid March and had a great meal.

30/03/2026: Excellent place! We arrived and the waiter served us in Spanish, explaining the dishes to us. Delicious and plentiful. I would definitely return. Very attentive and helpful.

30/03/2026: This restaurant was the best restaurant I have ever been to the food was very cheap and tasted AMAZING. the workers were so so kind to us giving us student discounts as they knew we were young, the restaurant was peaceful in a nice chilled atmosphere and the food was the best ever with large portions i couldn’t even finish but luckily they let me take home to have for later. I would seriously reccomend this place

05/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner: Everything was perfect, the food was excellent and plentiful, the dinner venue was simple and quiet, and the entertainment was excellent. Then we moved on to the reception hall, complete with music, dancing, and various party favors.... Nothing to improve.

26/12/2025: We organized my son's graduation party at this venue, whose expertise and high quality I already knew; the result exceeded our expectations. Roberta and her staff were very attentive and accommodating to all our requests. The room was decorated with great taste, the food was delicious, as was the selection of appetizers and wines, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Everything was exactly what we wanted. Thank you for making this special moment unforgettable.

11/03/2026: If you want to eat like a god in Mestre, there's no other option. Mariano's. Excellent quality. Dishes are always seasonal; don't miss the wild boar ravioli or the legendary risotto di gó. The most flavorful cured meats, the freshest fried fish, or baked fish with potatoes. Here, Veneto doesn't speak, it sings!!!! 😍

05/03/2026: I returned to Mariano's after more than a year, and I have to say...I need to come more often! The dishes offered are traditional Venetian dishes, with top-notch quality. The appetizers of the day and the risotto di gò are fabulous...a must-try! The atmosphere and ambiance at Mariano's are authentic, and the staff is unsurpassed in both kindness and speed of service. Special mention goes to a truly exceptional waitress who adds that extra touch to everything, which was already excellent! Super, I'll be back very soon!

02/04/2026: Good service. High prices for what it is. The pizzas were good. The spaghetti alla vongole had plenty of clams, but lacked flavor. The carbonara was just okay. The drinks were expensive, as in many Venetian restaurants, and the Aperol was too weak.

01/04/2026: The best meal we had in Venice, by far. Everything was delicious. The cacio e pepe was my absolute favorite dish—I won't spoil it, just order it! :) And the waiters were incredibly friendly. Money well spent.
