We had dinner at this restaurant tonight and it was a truly pleasant experience.
Everything was excellent: the extraordinary cicchetti and the delicate yet flavorful scallops.
The sea bream was incredibly fresh, accompanied by a generous selection of vegetables (included in the dish).
The tiramisu was "special" and the Sacher torte was unmissable.
The Spritz and glass of white wine were both excellent.
The staff were friendly, attentive, kind, and pleasant.
The place has a cheerful, sophisticated, vintage feel that I personally loved.
Impeccable in every way, except for the bread, which was good but too simple compared to the fantastic food they offer.
Considering the fair value for money, this was my favorite meal in Venice!

Located inside a futuristically designed hotel, just steps from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts, this restaurant offers a tranquil and refined atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a high-end gastronomic experience.
Beyond the excellent company, what struck me was the quality of the cuisine: a true discovery of taste. Chef Elena, a true hostess, offers dishes with meticulous attention to detail, with delicate, balanced, and never banal flavors.
Everything is homemade: from the pasta to the bread, down to each individual dish. You can sense the great attention to the ingredients, with local products showcased in a creative and refined way.
We began with a selection of cicchetti revisited with a gourmet twist: small masterpieces where colors, textures, and flavors harmoniously intertwined, creating an almost "musical" experience for the palate.
The first course, homemade tagliolini with spider crab, was simply extraordinary: delicate, elegant, and perfectly balanced. The second course exceeded all expectations, proving to be truly exceptional.
To conclude, a cake of almost heavenly lightness and delicacy.
Kudos also to the staff: attentive, professional, and always present without being intrusive.
An impeccable experience in every way: from the quality of the dishes to the service, to the atmosphere.
Highly recommended for those seeking something refined, authentic, and memorable in the heart of Venice. ✨

I went with a group of friends during the Carnival period.
Although Venice has been really crowded these days, the area this side of the Accademia Bridge, being a slightly quieter area, remains quieter.
Entering inside, it feels like stepping into a galleon. The place is very welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable compared to the rest of the island, but that doesn't mean the quality of the food is poor—quite the opposite!
Unfortunately, we weren't able to try the food at lunch due to a health issue, but we did taste an exceptional focaccia.
Furthermore, the kindness and friendliness of the staff made us feel truly welcomed, compared to the frenetic pace of mass tourism.
I will definitely return to Venice and I will definitely return to La Rivista to try the rest of the cuisine.
