The seafood tasting menu features fantastic dishes, including linguine with butter, anchovies, crumble, and sublime shrimp tartare. Highly recommended for those who want to eat WELL. Delicious desserts.

If you love good wine, the sincere taste of things done as they once were and the authentic atmosphere of true Venetian taverns, the Wine Bar Da Gonea is a must-see. Quality is at home here: excellent wines, carefully selected, and an infinite variety of cicchetti, piadinas and large, crunchy and super tasty bruschettas that satisfy every palate. The place has remained faithful to tradition: if you haven't booked a table, you'll have to queue a bit and serve yourself at the counter. But that's exactly the beauty of it: that mix of waiting, scents and voices that makes you feel part of a timeless convivial ritual. A genuine, sincere place, where every glass and every bite tells of the passion for things done well. Highly recommended!

05/08/2025: Faithful to traditional Indian cuisine. I really liked the atmosphere and the service was very attentive. I would go there often if I lived in Venice.

03/08/2025: We booked a room in Mestre for 5 days and had 2 dinners here. The food was extremely tasty! We had fish, chicken, and biryani- all were amazing. The service was also super good, the staff were very friendly. We were quite lucky to find this restaurant in mestre near the hotel. Please try it, you won't regret it.

30/07/2025: Truly embarassing. The food was amazing. Was it worth 3 hours waiting? No. Very unprofessional, when the delay was pointed out no apology was given but instead the owner started small talking about having become grandmother of birds on the restaurant's balcony while we had a tired pregnant woman at the table. We waited for way too long and the excuse at the cashier was "it takes long to bake fish" (the waiter at the table admitted to having forgotten) Later it started raining and we had no umbrella. We had to move while eating which was also very upsetting. No discount was given. No apology. You are an expensive place, you cannot just be so rude and disrespectful to your clients. Also, if there is a fixed price, you cannot give smaller portions to women compared to men. If that is necessary clients would ask. A real scam, such a pity for the quality of the food.

29/07/2025: Disappointment! Fried food and sliced potatoes were decidedly greasy. The bill was too high. €67 for two mediocre dishes, especially the "imperial" fried food. €9 cover charge, despite the baby sitting on his mother's lap (there are no highchairs available...). I was told he used a glass. We won't be returning. In the face of four restaurants... Regarding the Baia dei Porci staff's response, we'd like to add that ours is an objective opinion on the quality of the dishes. The annoyance over the cover charge, as you describe, is unrelated to the food. We were hungry and ate despite the mediocrity of the dishes. Should we have perhaps not eaten? I also remember that the child only used the glass, nothing more. The fact remains that we will never set foot in your restaurant again.

28/06/2025: We’ve generally avoided hotel restaurants in America, but decided to give Aromi a try because it was so conveniently located for us. (And we’re in Venice!) We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the experience. Very knowledgeable , accommodating staff (Riccardo REALLY knows his stuff and is very ‘Cordiale e disponibile ´) combined with an interesting menu and wine selection made for a memorable experience. We also learned of regional specialties, such as the Sant’Erasmo artichokes . Perfection. A great way to spend our anniversary evening. Merci beaucoup. Grazie mille !!

28/06/2025: Best meal of our trip to Venice. Inventive, delicious dishes. Complimentary amuse bouche and dessert tower. Each dish was carefully explained to us by waiters who were incredibly attentive but unpretentious. Perfect view. Overall, faultless.

The service was excellent from start to finish, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We particularly want to highlight the T-bone steak – it was grilled to perfection, tender, juicy, and simply delicious. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening with perfect food and great service. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. Highly recommended! 👏

20/07/2025: WHY NOT We found it by chance and were drawn in by the name. The good, polite, and very cheerful service perfectly described their menu. We tried various products and they were good, but all very similar and nothing stood out. The price is great. A place to spend a different evening.

08/05/2025: I live in the neighborhood and had heard conflicting opinions. Instead it is an excellent pizzeria. The environment is pleasant, there are two beautiful ovens, the pizza is very good and large with excellent raw materials. The focaccia and crouton are excellent. There was a diabetic lady with us who was offered meat and vegetable alternatives but the lady preferred cheeses and vegetables and they brought her a beautiful and huge platter with delicious cheeses, exceptional buffalo mozzarella and lots of vegetables. They were very kind and very helpful, the service was attentive. And the quality - price ratio is honest. I recommend it to everyone.
