05/10/2025: I treated myself to some ice cream here – the portion was really generous, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was warm and friendly, and I felt welcome. Unfortunately, the ice cream tasted rather average – I wasn't particularly impressed. What I found disappointing was that they only accepted cash payments.

20/11/2025: It's a shocking thing. I arrive, I put in 20 euros in cash, and then there's still the credit to be disbursed, but the pump won't dispense. And it won't let me request debt collection. A very strange situation. The office looks abandoned, yet the pumps "should work." Stay away from this place because I think it's been tampered with. I don't know who, but I'm sure that as soon as I leave, someone will somehow get the pump working to steal my gas. It's like something out of an American movie with those abandoned gas pumps... Okay, now I've filmed the scene a bit, but that's how it is. P.S.: obviously, the emergency number on the column doesn't answer, nor the office number, much less the bell next to the pump. Friuli Venezia Giulia surprises me so much sometimes!
10/08/2025: We stopped for a coffee break and unfortunately also went to the bathroom.
I haven't seen such a dirty latrine and a non-flushing toilet in decades!

21/09/2025: Feels like a rip-off!!! Small portions, the food tastes almost like nothing, tomato slices on the food simply taste old, almost spoiled. After I asked the owner why the portions were small, he said it's like that everywhere in India, small somosas are supposedly overpriced in India, they're small and cost €2 each. I know it's different... overpriced drinks, just stay away.

This is a shady place, beware! I ordered a plate of seafood spaghetti and was charged 108 euros! On the evening of July 10, 2025, when I first arrived in Venice, I saw this place on the street and thought it looked cheap, so I sat down. Since I don't speak Italian, I could only look at the picture on the menu and ordered a plate of seafood spaghetti, which was listed as 9 euros. While eating, I didn't think the seafood was fresh at all, but I figured, for only 9 euros, I couldn't expect more. However, when I paid, I was charged 108 euros! They said the price on the menu was for 100 grams, but the plate I was given was 1000 grams, plus a 12% service charge. I blamed myself for not reading the price on the menu, but they didn't confirm the portion size when I ordered. Furthermore, if the plate of spaghetti was 500 grams, it's possible, but it definitely wasn't 1000 grams! After negotiating with two shop assistants, one offered a discount, charging me 80 euros. I said I could only pay 50 euros, and he said, "Let's call the police." But he didn't seem to call them. I asked when they would arrive, and they said it would take at least two hours. After a while, another shop assistant came over to mediate, saying they didn't want to cause any trouble. I was unfamiliar with the place and didn't want to bother with any trouble, so I just accepted my bad luck and paid 70 euros. During the negotiation, the shop assistant who took my order pretended to accidentally bump into me twice, then became aggressive and threatened to hit me. This was my first time in Italy, and I've traveled from Naples to Rome, Florence, Venice, and Milan. I've always found Italians to be generally friendly, but this shop was the most unpleasant and even a little terrifying. These shady shops are truly a detriment to the beautiful scenery of Venice! Later, I saw reviews on Google Maps and realized that this shop has a reputation for being terrible. It's my fault for not checking first. I hope more people see this post to avoid being scammed. Later, I looked at the menus of several other restaurants and found that seafood pasta was priced around 25-30 euros.

I would not recommend anyone to visit this restaurant. It was such a scam. They charged €108 for a plate of below-standard seafood pasta! Indeed, it’s my fault for not reading the menu carefully, but they didn’t ask me how many grams I wanted when I ordered. Besides, the plate probably weighed 500 grams, but was definitely not 1kg. After a lengthy negotiation with two staff members, one of them said they could give me a discount and charge €80. I countered with €50, and they said, “Call the police then.” Judging by their attitude, they clearly weren’t going to call the police. Later, they came back and said it would take at least two hours for the police to arrive.
After a while, another staff member came over to mediate and said they didn’t want any trouble either. Being unfamiliar with the area and not wanting to escalate things, I unwillingly paid €70 in the end. During the negotiation, the staff member who took my order "accidentally" bumped into me twice, and later even tried to intimidate me by acting as if he was going to hit me.
This was my first trip to Italy, and I traveled from south to north, visiting Naples, Rome, Florence, Venice, and Milan. I found most Italians very friendly. However, my experience at this restaurant was the most Unpleasant and even a bit frightening. Scam restaurants like this one ruin the beauty of Venice!
Afterwards, I checked Google Maps reviews and found out that this restaurant is notorious for its poor reputation. It’s my own fault for not checking beforehand. I also checked menus from other restaurants and found out that the average price of a seafood pasta is around 25-30 euros. I hope more people can see this post and avoid falling into such scams.

12/11/2025: My boyfriend and I stumbled across this place and decided to try it out. We weren’t very hungry, so we just wanted a soft drink and a main course — but honestly, we regretted even sitting down.
From the start, the service was shockingly rude. When we walked in, the waiter snapped “drinks or food?” — no greeting, no smile. After we said food, he pointed at a table without another word. Then he came over, threw four menus on our table (there were only two of us) and walked off.
We waited over 15 minutes before anyone bothered to come back, even though there were only a few other tables. When he finally showed up, he walked away mid-order without saying anything, came back chatting to his colleague and the table behind us, and kept ignoring us like we didn’t exist.
Throughout the meal he rolled his eyes whenever we tried to get his attention, and never once checked on us — even though he kept hovering around other tables every five minutes being overly friendly. The difference in treatment was painfully obvious.
When we asked for the bill, we had to call him over three separate times and wait another 15 minutes before he brought it. He rolled his eyes again, said “just a moment,” and disappeared. When the bill finally came (€45.50), he looked annoyed we didn’t tip — and then charged us €46 anyway. It’s not about the 50 cents, it’s the attitude and the complete lack of respect.
The food itself was fine, but the service was genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a restaurant. Being treated like a nuisance for simply ordering a main course is unacceptable

04/09/2025: I don't recommend it. When you go to pay, the prices are different from the menus at the tables. Basically, you pay one amount one day and a different one the next, at the owner's discretion. P.S. In four days, I haven't even issued a receipt!

13/02/2026: Great bar with some very fine beers. I know this as a UK CAMRA member.
The Italian and German craft beers are kept to perfection.
Typically for the region the premises are spotless and very well kept, the toilets especially so. You could eat from the floor here.
The music may not be to everyone's taste, but that's subjective. If you want Disco, or Club stuff this is the place for you 😊.
The owner Riki and his staff are most attentative, effective and polite. Hey the speak English and I don't speak a word of Italian 😉.
Go take a look, you won't be dissapointed.

From the moment I entered, the atmosphere was unpleasant. The ventilation seemed inadequate, and there was a persistent, stale odor in the air that made the environment uncomfortable. The cleanliness standards appeared questionable — surfaces felt sticky, and the overall hygiene gave the impression of neglect.
The drinks were another major disappointment. The alcohol quality was noticeably low, with an unusual aftertaste that suggested poor storage or inferior products. For the prices charged, the value was simply not there. I expected at least a basic standard, but what I received was far below acceptable.
Customer service did little to improve the situation. Staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making it difficult to get assistance or even basic courtesy. Instead of feeling welcome, I felt like an inconvenience.
The combination of hygiene concerns, poor drink quality, high prices, and lackluster service created an experience I would not wish on anyone. There are far better establishments where customers are treated with respect and provided with a clean, enjoyable environment.
I strongly recommend management conduct a serious review of cleanliness, product quality, and customer service standards.

I ordered a Chardonnay and when they came, they brought a full bottle of each that was already opened. They poured our wine at the table and I thought they were just pouring us a glass like we ordered but no then they said we ordered the whole bottle. When we finish, we asked for the car for our wine to take the rest of the bottle and they said they could not find one to fit. The bruschetta was very plain, and the rest of the food was just tolerable. When it came time to pay, our waiter could not take a card because only one guy can do that and he was outside smoking a cigarette. There are too many other good restaurants to choose from than taking a chance on this place.
05/04/2026: Walid was an amazing server who cared about our service and experience. Would 100% come back here for drinks and appetizers. Friendly staff right by the water where you get amazing views!

16/09/2025: During our holiday, we once went to the Spaghetti House in Caorle. We usually know all the good restaurants and pizzerias in the area, as we've vacationed in Caorle several times before. But we'd never been there, so we decided to have dinner. The spaghetti ragu (Bolognese) was completely dry, with hardly any sauce, and there was practically no mince to be seen – not to mention the taste. The mixed salad was full of bits of stems, and the vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper were only in single-use sachets. It took ages for us to get the bill; instead, we were ignored while the waitresses kept attending to our lunches or taking new orders. When we paid, our jaws dropped, as this uninspired, possibly not even homemade, meal cost more than anywhere else. Tip: If you're really hungry and want a good meal, go to Reeps across the street. They have large meat dishes that seem more expensive at first glance, but are cheaper overall when you include drinks.

21/01/2026: The staff was very rude, I waited 5 minutes in front of the cash register [without a queue in front] with the staff (the gentleman) who did not consider it vitally important to serve me, while I was explaining my requests to him.
06/01/2026: Rude and offensive staff. It's embarrassing that a company like Feltrinelli employs such low-quality and, I repeat, RUDE staff. Especially the short blonde girl who won't answer your questions and laughs in your face.
