23/10/2025: We stayed at the Grand Italia Hotel, and were often there in the mornings and for aperitif time. Excellent breakfasts and aperitifs, too. A special mention goes to Valentina, the bartender, who was incredibly kind and always had a smile. Highly recommended!

07/09/2025: We ate pizza from here several times while we were in Sottomarina. Both at Ice & Fire - and as a take away. Every time it was a really positive experience 😀 Super good pizzas and super friendly service. (You can get 1 large pizza to share with different fillings on each half, if 2 smaller pizzas are too much). Can only recommend the place 😄
03/09/2025: A rather unpleasant Italian, just as you'd imagine them.
We don't know how to say prosciutto, so he pretends he doesn't understand anything.
And that famous jamón of discord was really not good.

29/08/2025: Right in the middle of the main square, opposite the basilica, we had some delicious sweets. It's Dolce Vita for life.
There's a wide selection, from macarons to tiramisu.
The service was very friendly and attentive for the short time we were there. The price was also very reasonable.

02/10/2025: Aug 2025: Something changed regarding the pizza dough. It got like gummy when it got cold and at first it was something like biscuity consistency. We did not eat up. 1 Star for the toppings, which were great. 1 Star for the beer pairing. 1 Star for the tiramisu, which we needed to wait for quite long.
Aug 2024: 5 stars. We had the best pizza in Lido di Jesolo here. The menu recommends beers to the pizzas.
Also the dessert was great.

07/12/2025: The worst place I've ever seen. The waiters were the rudest, they couldn't be more rude. I was having a drink on the terrace when some family members came to sit with me, and he immediately kicked them off. Absolutely awful! And ridiculously expensive too.
22/11/2025: A wonderful place in the very center of Venice near the opera. A large selection of desserts and panini, VERY tasty coffee. There is a toilet, adequate prices. Two halls - a restaurant and a bar, quite a lot of space. It is very convenient to come here while walking around the city and have a rest. Location, price/quality ratio - a pleasant surprise for Venice.

17/11/2025: The restaurant is simple, the location is fantastic. The Aperol is the standard size and the price is extremely cheap (€5) compared to other restaurants, and it even comes with complimentary potato chips. The view is beautiful, and the waiters are friendly. A great stop for a snack/drinks, but perhaps for a full meal, other places might be better.

26/10/2025: Two of us went and spent €150 for food that, in my opinion, wasn't even half the price. So, I'm not complaining about the high bill, but about the quality/price ratio of the food I ate. So, you have two options: either improve the quality of the food you serve, or drastically lower the prices! Otherwise, I think you can always close down...
11/10/2025: I'm a little resentful
Because after three years of going every two or three weeks, always during the week, not on busy days.
Last week, we asked if we could bring our small, very calm dog, and they told me to leave him outside the restaurant.
(I would have left him outside on a leash.)
The thing that bothered me was that during the summer, we saw dogs inside the restaurant, even right next to our table.
The staff was unfriendly, except for one middle-aged waiter who was a bit of a joker.

09/12/2025: We simply ordered a ham and mushroom pizza and a beer.
The dough was frozen and not even cooked properly, there were three slices of ham, and a meager amount of mushrooms and cheese.
The beer, for €5, could have been better.

25/07/2025: I've always found this place to be very courteous and professional. The family-run business is an incredible added value; the raw ingredients and the owners' experience combine to create a truly excellent product. They have a great deal of imagination in creating bold combinations of many ingredients and a great respect for traditional recipes.
Highly recommended.
