24/06/2026: I needed to give my dog ​​a drink, so I asked if they had a solution. They gave me a very nice disposable paper bowl with freshly poured tap water, and they didn't ask for anything! Excellent service and the friendliness was top notch!

04/08/2026: The worst place I've been to in all of Italy. The waitress didn't give us time to choose. Before we made a decision, she came over three or four times in three minutes to take our order. The cannoli was a mess – the photo showed pistachio cream inside, but what we got was a whipped cream filling sprinkled with a few pistachio crumbs. Even if everything was free, it was still overpriced.

09/07/2026: Unfriendly service; you're rushed into the shop and pressured to order. The pizza was frozen and tasted bad, and you have to pay an extra €2 per person.

11/08/2026: I went for a table-service crepe, and initially, everything was fine: the crepe was delicious, and the girl serving me was kind. When it came time to pay, however, I went to the cashier and the owner, in a very rude way in my opinion, rudely told me I should wait at the table while the girl came to bring me the bill. The girl did, in fact, arrive with the receipt. When I asked to pay with my debit card, I was told it wasn't possible because the receipt had already been printed and that I would have to pay exclusively in cash. The most absurd thing I find is that no one asked me what payment method I would prefer. I strongly advise anyone who doesn't want to ruin their day to avoid this place.

03/08/2026: Paid 40 euros for 3 pizzas (2 vegetables + olives, brie and onion) which to say were terrible is an understatement. More than a flour dough, they were inedible chewing gum. Not to mention the staff were absolutely rude and careless of the customer's needs. Highly not recommended.

07/08/2026: It used to be decent, but tonight's experience really topped everything. We had to wait a long time to finally get a table, even though there were plenty of tables available outside. So we ended up eating inside because the staff didn't want to walk too far. We ordered, and everything was on the table within 5 minutes, whereas we didn't receive the drinks until 10 minutes after dinner. We had to ask for the drinks multiple times. "It's on its way" was the answer every time. The food was bad too. Small portions, steak completely overcooked, etc.

04/08/2026: Scandalous poor performance and theft at a 5-star campsite! What a mess! This restaurant is an absolute disgrace, especially for the 5-star campsite where it is located. You pay for top quality here, but you get an organizational mess and service that is far below freezing point. Spare yourself the annoyance and steer clear of this place. In a scorching 36 degrees, we were forced to sit inside. Why? Because the staff thought it was "too far to walk" to the empty tables outside. Since when does the laziness of the staff at a top campsite determine where paying guests have to sit? When you are in Italy, you expect decent food. Well, forget about it. The pizzas we ordered were truly inedible, and my daughter's pasta was also a huge culinary disappointment. The drinks weren't much better either: my wife's cola was lukewarm and completely flat. After our complaint, we didn't get a new drink; instead, the same glass was shamelessly filled with four ice cubes. An ordered Corona was initially completely forgotten. The absolute straw that broke the camel's back was the scam at the checkout. After settling the bill, it turned out that the undelivered Corona was suddenly on the receipt after all. When I pointed this out immediately, we received a rude and arrogant response: "You have already paid." Bad food, lazy staff, and zero-star service is one thing, but knowingly collecting money for drinks you never delivered is simply theft. This restaurant is unworthy of a 5-star campsite. Shameful!

12/05/2026: Cannot give less than one star otherwise this place would be in negative grounds. Unless you are a tourist the waiters will ignore you, there is no menu to check the prices, the quality of the food is terrible, the level of hygiene makes places like Calcutta look like the inside of a hospital. If you dare complain about anything the waiters will try to get rid of you as fast as possible. Beware they often claim their CC machine doesn't work, but only after you have eaten and force you to look for an ATM machine (you can also refuse to pay in cash as they should have warned you before they took your order) Worst experience I ever had in Venice and I wonder how it manages to survive with such a terrible reputation.

12/04/2026: We came in because we saw cannoli in the window and it looked tempting. We were two adults and two children, just planning to have a dessert and a coffee, without checking Google reviews beforehand. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The cannoli had almost no taste at all and it was more expensive as central. The coffee was okay, but nothing special. In the end, we had the feeling this was more of a tourist trap. The bill came to 42€ for 4 cannoli and 2 coffees, likely also including a coperto for all four of us, and we had to pay cash. Prices weren’t clearly displayed outside either, not for cannolis Overall, a rather disappointing experience – we wouldn’t recommend.

17/04/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Tourist trap of the worst kind. Worst experience ever. Pasta al sepia does not taste like anything I have ever eaten, not even tasted like seafood! The meatballs dish contained one shameful PAIR of small meatballs. No typo here. Two meatballs floating in the middle of the sauce, two lettuce leaves, two bread slices. They charged 5 meals for 4 customers, also charged incredible 12% service. When I complained and called them dishonest the waiter tried to prove me wrong, saying and I am obliged to pay for service even though it was that lame. He called me ignorant who cannot distinguish service from tip, because that is how things are in Italy, differently from the rest of the world. Curious detail: I live in Italy… Wife had a chicken breast that not only looked, also tasted like flipflop soles. I was ripped off. Paid +30€ for that pieces of crap.

16/05/2026: The hotel is located close to Basilica Salute, a really easy walk, where you can catch the water bus to other locations. Check-in for the hotel is around the corner, and the foyer is lovely. WiFi is available in the foyer. The room I stayed in was outside, 100m down the lane, and around another corner. The bed is a small double bed (two singles pushed together) and it was clean and surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom is tiny, and wear your shoes - there are some water leaks. The shower drain was not able to handle the volume of water (possibly okay if you only use a trickle) and the floor was flooded. Room could use and upgrade, it's very shabby genteel. If you freak out at a less-than-pristine room, do not go here. However, given that is was Biennale, space to stay was at a premium. It was okay for the price - secure, bed was clean, private, and good access. You wouldn't want to stay in the room as your holiday, but if you just want to sleep, pretty good.

06/12/2025: We just wanted to grab a pizza and didn't check the drink prices beforehand. Charging €6.00 ​​for a can of Fanta is outrageous and a complete rip-off. Never again. Warning: Tourist trap!!!

08/06/2026: A disastrous experience. The staff is incredibly rude and seems to consider customers a nuisance. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with coldness and disdain. The service is rushed, unpleasant, and completely devoid of any sense of hospitality. On several occasions, we felt arrogantly treated when we had simply come for a coffee. With the competition in Venice, it's incomprehensible that an establishment could offer such deplorable service. We left with a very bad memory and will never set foot in the place again.

13/07/2026: I’d suggest to avoid this place completely. The sandwiches we got were front loaded but empty inside, and we were charged €6 for a soda each. When I asked about the unexpectedly high price the lady became extremely rude and ranted at me rather than just clarifying things calmly. Shockingly poor service.
