06/08/2026: Catastrophic! I ordered at the bar and was rudely told to go outside. I ordered a coffee and cannoli, which were simply inedible and smelled like detergent. We ate them just to be sure, and when I mentioned the problem when paying (the bill was very high; I should have been suspicious, as there were no prices listed anywhere), they told me that since I had already eaten them, there was nothing they could do. Avoid at all costs!!!

28/07/2026: It was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. I liked that they sold single servings of risotto, unlike other places, and the 1.5 euro table setting fee was also a plus. I was worried because the Google rating was in the low 2s, but perhaps because of that, there weren't many people, which made me even more satisfied. Of course, there is a 10% service charge, but the food prices are correspondingly affordable. However, the drinks don't seem to be very good value for money. Also, although I didn't use the water glass since I didn't order any, it was disappointing to see lipstick marks on it.

05/07/2026: This was a terrible experience—I’m writing this review on the train. The ordering machine wasn’t working properly. I paid with my debit card, but at first, they didn’t issue an order invoice—just a receipt—and asked me to pay another 0.8 euros. I thought it was for the bag, so I paid again. But they still said I hadn’t paid, even though my bank had already sent me a transaction notification. When I showed the receipt to the front desk, they quickly destroyed it. We waited a long time, and with only five minutes left before boarding, they only rushed to prepare our food after we urged them. Once on the train, my friend, who was starving, opened the food bag and discovered that all the drinks had been replaced with water, and there were no fries. This is the least efficient McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Everything is just terrible.😓

23/06/2026: Staff is very rude, there is no stock of salt and pepper. Quantity of food is very less, not fulled up properly. We are totally disappointed.

07/04/2026: The out side dining is set on a beautiful canal, but inside is just very plain. My wife and I ordered a glass of wine. She ordered a rosé. I ordered a Chardonnay and when they came, they brought a full bottle of each that was already opened. They poured our wine at the table and I thought they were just pouring us a glass like we ordered but no then they said we ordered the whole bottle. When we finish, we asked for the car for our wine to take the rest of the bottle and they said they could not find one to fit. The bruschetta was very plain, and the rest of the food was just tolerable. When it came time to pay, our waiter could not take a card because only one guy can do that and he was outside smoking a cigarette. There are too many other good restaurants to choose from than taking a chance on this place.

11/07/2025: Viajero ciego estafado — € 9 pasta convertida en € 63 Tengo discapacidad visual, y esta fue mi primera visita a una trattoria en Venecia. Desafortunadamente, fui engañado debido a mi incapacidad para ver claramente. El personal recomendó un plato de pasta, diciendo que era de € 9. Lo ordené, confiando en esa información. Pero cuando llegó el momento de pagar, el propietario me dijo que en realidad eran 9 € por 100 gramos, algo que nunca me explicaron en ningún momento. Sin pedir mi consentimiento, cocinaron 700 gramos y luego me gritaron que pagara 63€. Cuando lo dudé, el dueño amenazó con llamar a la policía, lo que me puso extremadamente ansioso y asustado. Les dije que no tenía tarjeta, solo algo de dinero en efectivo. Me presionaron hasta que les di todo el dinero que tenía para salir de allí. Como alguien ciego, confío en explicaciones verbales claras. Pero ninguno fue proporcionado. En Florencia, cuando pedí filete, mostraron claramente el peso y el precio de antemano. Aquí, se aprovecharon de mi vulnerabilidad. Adjunto una foto del plato que sirvieron. Parecía una pasta típica de marisco, no algo que debería costar 63€. Y para ser claros, los 63€ eran solo para la pasta. Las bebidas y otros artículos se cobran por separado. Esto hace que la falta de explicación previa sea aún más indignante. Más tarde, encontré otra reseña que describía exactamente la misma situación: a un cliente le dijeron que era una “pasta de mariscos”, asumió que eran 15 € como los demás y terminó cobrándole 63 € por pasta de langosta. Es evidente que este es un patrón de engaño dirigido a los turistas, especialmente a aquellos que no están familiarizados con las prácticas locales o a personas vulnerables como yo. Ni siquiera me dieron un recibo. Esto no solo fue deshonesto, sino discriminatorio. Evita este lugar. Se benefician de engañar y amenazar a los clientes vulnerables.

05/07/2025: Nous recommandons ce restaurant qui est vraiment bon! J ai mangé du foie à la Vénitienne un délice!!! Les pâtes étaient très bonne aussi et le service excellent. Merci pour ce bon moment.

25/06/2026: I went to this bar after a university exam, and after five minutes of waiting, I had to go and order. When I ordered, the waitress reacted disgustedly. When the order was ready, they didn't even bring it to the table, so I had to get up... We didn't even get anything to eat, just chips, and in the rush (no one was in the bar), they didn't even put lemon in my spritz.

13/07/2026: 1 star only because 0 can't be given. - Pizza waited 2 hours: Ordered around 9 PM, arrived when we got up to leave at 11 PM, - Full dining room, 40 degrees Celsius, no air conditioning or fans - After 1 hour and 45 minutes, the waiter came to the table to ask what was missing: EVERYTHING - Pizza taken away for takeout "because they'd already made it," eaten cold - The icing on the cake: they charged us for everything in full, even with the service charge and service included, even though we hadn't used them at all, given that we ordered takeout.

04/05/2026: Nice spot right by the canal - super chill atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, and even though we got there pretty late (around 10:30 pm), we still managed to order food, which was great. Aperol Spritz was tasty and came quickly 👍 The pizza was okay - not bad, but nothing special. We’ve definitely had better in Venice.

12/04/2026: I ordered two lattes to go, and they charged me €11. Absolutely insane, and an outrageously high price for the area.

06/10/2025: A bar in the heart of Piazza Ferretto; from the outdoor tables, you can admire the entire porticoed promenade. The service is embarrassingly rude, making you feel a bit uncomfortable. The croissants are rubbery, limp, and awful (they should change suppliers). The cappuccino is pleasant overall, but with a poor coffee-to-foam ratio. The price is ridiculous: five euros for a cappuccino and croissant. Highly not recommended unless you enjoy spending too much on something that is overall unpleasant.

04/10/2025: The waitress "randomly" charged us ten euros on a receipt where the individual costs weren't broken down, so I don't know how much three coffees and two pastries cost. But ten euros for, I repeat, three coffees and two pastries is definitely too much! We're not in St. Mark's Square!

12/04/2026: Unfortunately, this was a complete disappointment. My visit to Caffè Internazionale in Venice was awful. The food arrived within a minute, was cold, and had absolutely no flavor. Everything pointed to a rushed service. The service and the staff's behavior reflected this. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

30/03/2026: The worst cappuccino I've had in Italy, it tastes like it's made with water. The famous "sad" cappuccino! Rude, uncourteous service. Extremely expensive.

19/12/2025: We were looking for a warm place to kill time until the ferry arrived and we came in here. We shared a huge sandwich and had some coffees! The man was super friendly.

31/07/2026: Absolutely appalling conduct from a member of staff. At approximately 9:45pm on Friday 31 July, I entered through one doorway intending to buy a bottle of water while my mum entered through another to use the toilet. A young male member of staff called “excuse me” to her. When she did not immediately respond, he walked past me and said, “Are you f***ing deaf?” He did not realise we were together. My mum actually has partial hearing loss. When we went back inside and challenged him, his defence was that he could not have known we were together and that people must buy something before using the toilet. We accepted that the bar could explain and enforce that rule. It does not remotely justify insulting somebody. Rather than apologising or de-escalating, he said, “Don’t tell me how to f***ing do my job.” The exchange then became heated on both sides, but the crucial point is that his original insult was completely unprovoked and happened before either of us had spoken confrontationally. A polite explanation about the toilet would have resolved everything. Using deafness as an insult and then continuing to swear at visitors is humiliating, aggressive and completely unacceptable. Avoid this place.

24/06/2026: I needed to give my dog ​​a drink, so I asked if they had a solution. They gave me a very nice disposable paper bowl with freshly poured tap water, and they didn't ask for anything! Excellent service and the friendliness was top notch!

07/07/2026: I wish I could give 0 stars, to this scamming, holiday ruining 'restaurant'. Ordered 2 crepes, a cocktail and a mocktail. He brought out 2 alcoholic drinks, upon telling him it was wrong he rudely went off and then brought out a mocktail (not the one I had ordered). A worker of the restaurant sat at the table opposite and stared at us the whole time, making us feel uncomfortable and to top off this vile visit, the 2 crepes and 2 drinks were €80!!! No bill provided, no prices listed, so these vile, rude men can charge what they like to tourists. DO NOT GO HERE!
