16/02/2026: The rooms were spacious and clean. The friendliness and service were impeccable. Breakfast was also excellent (I only suggest making plant-based milk available; they would certainly have provided it if I had asked. I think it's an essential breakfast beverage these days).

27/09/2025: We stayed here as part of our hike on the Dolomites High Route 1. Unfortunately, the hut didn't really impress us, and that has nothing to do with its age. The dining room is very, very noisy. After a strenuous day of hiking, it's unfortunately not particularly comfortable to sit in. Perhaps some curtains, rugs, or panels on the ceiling would help?! Furthermore, the food ordering system is questionable. Only one person in the hut could take care of it. With a full hut, it took a correspondingly long time and dampened the spirits of the hungry guests. Furthermore, a lot of waste was produced during the meal, as absolutely everything (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, ketchup, mayonnaise, etc.) was served in small portions. We know how difficult it is to bring things like food to a hut in the middle of the mountains, but here I would like to appeal to the environmental aspect, because a good solution can definitely be found for these things, also in the interest of the environment. The rooms were small and damp. Since we were there during a heavy rain, a lot of water leaked in through the window frame. The staff didn't seem to be new to the issue. It also felt like there were too many people at the hut for the restrooms, as there were constant lines outside. The sunrise the next day was somewhat reassuring, as it, along with the view, was magnificent.

13/03/2026: We arrived for lunch, tempted by the beautiful menu displayed. I ordered the Montanaro dish: Pastin, cooked cheese, polenta, and mushrooms. A generous portion, everything was delicious. Prices are average for mountain huts along the slopes. If you want a nice big plate with a view of the Civetta, this is the place to go!

02/03/2026: Our stay was fantastic, everyone was smiling and super helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of local and homemade products, and the afternoon snack was equally delicious. A quiet and perfect place for exploring part of the Dolomites.

28/10/2025: Last minute stay during late season (end of October) and it was a very pleasant surprise. Comfortable beds, great staff, and we ended up eating in the restaurant even though we had booked a room with no board, and it was delicious. Local food done simple and well. Wish we had more than 16 hours to spend there.

03/08/2025: An Absolute Gem – Fresh, Scenic, and Unforgettable! This restaurant is truly a hidden treasure. The views alone are worth the visit. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients, and their homemade cheeses are simply divine, especially the creamy goat cheese made right there on the farm from their own goats. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, made even better by the incredible staff. They were beyond accommodating, going out of their way to cater to our group’s needs and making sure every allergy was handled with care. No request was too big or small. They genuinely wanted us to have the perfect experience. Being on the farm surrounded by animals made it all the more magical. It’s not just a meal here, it’s an experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something truly special.

22/11/2025: Excellent and historic café and wine bar in the central Piazza di Trichiana. Friendly, fast, and professional staff. Good coffee and pastries, excellent wine selection. Worth a try.
