17/09/2025: Update after 6 years: We arrive and park in the parking lot, which has an entrance right next to the restaurant door and looks like it belongs to the restaurant. A cook comes out to tell us we can't park there because it's only for the inn (?) and not the restaurant. Okay, I'll move the car. (Maybe putting up a sign would be better.) The waiter is kind and professional. He brings some lovely breadsticks and bread that have been smelling off for more than a few dozen hours. Okay, it happens. The steak was just okay, but the next day I felt sick, and I don't think it's a coincidence. The atmosphere is welcoming. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- They could improve the welcome; they're very cold, and the younger waiters are completely inexperienced. We came for dinner to try one of the few dishes on the menu, the donkey stew, only to find out it was sold out. I wonder how they manage to finish the main course on the menu, and I ask the waiter too, who also seems surprised and shrugs. Despite this, the food is quite good and the atmosphere is very nice.

14/09/2025: A restaurant with a faux-rustic atmosphere in a farmhouse. While in the summer you can eat outside under a pergola, during the colder months there are many small rooms full of tables (let's just say that if you don't mind dining with people constantly passing by or "in the company of strangers" at the table next to yours, you're in the right place). The service was a bit inattentive and improvised (perhaps due to the young age): I had to stop taking my plate away after 15 minutes, and I waited two rounds for the waitress to get cutlery, after my rib eye had already arrived. The restaurant was busy, but I don't consider that a coherent excuse: if you can't meet the needs of all your customers, remove seats and tables and try to manage the ones you have better, without overdoing it. Good food. Price slightly above average.

07/09/2025: Very well-kept place, highly trained staff, and truly delicious food! The presentation of the dishes is truly worth it, a new discovery! Everything is top-notch, and the pizza is truly exceptional.

07/09/2025: We visited Trattoria Bella Italia and were truly satisfied. The menu isn't extensive, but that's only one plus: each dish is carefully crafted, thoughtfully prepared, and made with the highest-quality ingredients. The fettuccine with ragù was simply superb: flavorful, fresh, and made with love. The pluma was also breathtakingly tasty and tender, a true delight. The service was courteous, attentive, and always smiling, making the experience even more enjoyable. If we return to the area, it will definitely be a regular stop. Kudos to the entire staff!

02/10/2025: The place is amazing 🤩 It is family owned, no crowds of tourists and usual dishes that you can eat in every place, just home cooked and delicious food. We took specials - gnocchi with pees, tartar and two magnificent desserts. Everything was really good. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. Love this place!

07/09/2025: The pizza was like a discus ready for an Olympic throw! Full of oil and rubbery! The boiled potatoes were hospital-grade! The atmosphere was scorching hot and the waitress was gruff and unpleasant! The cashier was a real greedy guy and refused me a 3 euro discount, so much so that I had to use my card! Madness! I'M NEVER GOING BACK!!!

02/07/2025: Very good restaurant, very good service, we don't speak Italian, the staff is very considerate to help us translate into English. We ordered two pasta, taste good, highly recommended to eat here! There is a paid parking lot nearby, you can park.

26/08/2025: We booked last-minute on a Sunday. It wasn't crowded. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food was fresh and well-prepared. The fried food was dry to begin with, and the mix was excellent. We were very satisfied.

18/09/2025: Absolutely, and this is the second time. Everything was great again and highly recommended. Thank you very much and keep it up. I'd like to say something else. At a neighboring table, with mostly German guests, there was a woman who wasn't happy with her meal, which she made very clear. But she did so in such a way, or rather, in such a persistent manner, that you really had to feel embarrassed for her. Above all, she just couldn't stop and kept running to the waiter to complain about something else. This went on for a good 20 minutes, then I left. Not everything is perfect all the time and everywhere, and we ourselves don't always succeed in one thing or another in our daily lives. I certainly don't want to be attacked like that by my guests in such a situation. Criticism is okay, but it has to remain fair and objective. And you have to give the other person the opportunity to respond to that criticism. However, this woman didn't want that at all, and you got the impression that she was only interested in pure self-promotion. According to the motto: I'm the center of the world and everything here has to revolve around me. It's a shame that these types of guests unfortunately continue to shape the impression we "Germans" have abroad.

17/08/2025: The restaurant is very large but cool, well-decorated, and not noisy. We ate quite well, but the sea bass was full of bones, making it awkward to eat. The service was extremely slow and a bit distracted. We waited 20 minutes before ordering and spent over an hour and a half at the table for lunch for two, including an appetizer, main course, and coffee. The presentation of the dishes was excellent. Prices were a bit high. We didn't order wine and split the appetizer.

23/09/2025: This Villa/Trattoria was recommended to us by a local guy, and I must say he gave us very good advice... Marco was welcoming and friendly, as was all the staff. We had excellent tagliatelle with mushrooms and roast rabbit, accompanied by a good wine. The atmosphere was family-friendly with a lovely panoramic view. We returned to Milan happy and content.

16/09/2025: The food was really, really good. A mushroom pasta first, and a beautifully pink tagliata di manzo second – very good. We also shared a pizza autore; I wasn't familiar with the concept, but if I had known earlier, I would have started one.

15/09/2025: A pizzeria right next to the main attraction in the Old Town. Pizzas can be ordered whole straight from the oven or by the slice, which are then reheated. It's generally self-service. A 0.5-liter bottle of water costs 1.5 euros and a can of Coke 3 euros. A wide selection of pizzas under 10 euros. The pizza is delicious. Not too thin, not too thick. Plenty of toppings.
