21/12/2025: Very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff. Great attention to detail. We chose the five-course tasting menu, each one better than the last. There's also a surprise tasting menu chosen by the chef. The ingredients are of excellent quality and seasonal, and they produce them. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend this experience.

Tonight surpassed the last one. Everything was excellent, although I would have preferred a better portion of the cicchetti on the large platter. Anyway, well done!

23/03/2026: A very pleasant dinner at Al Bacaro.
As soon as we sat down, they brought us a small welcome gift (salami, quark with oil, and warm bread), a simple but truly appreciated gesture.
We ordered half a shank with herbs and polenta, very tasty and well-prepared. The pasta with white ragù was also good.
The desserts were good, although a bit inferior to the rest.
Courteous service and a pleasant atmosphere.
Overall, a positive experience; I would return.
13/03/2026: I agree with some of the comments about the lack of a menu with prices. BUT it was a very pleasant lunch, everything very good and at a fair price. It's a classic trattoria, near a beautiful park on the Piave River. You're greeted with a platter of salami, robiola cheese, and warm bread (all absolutely unsolicited but very welcome). The owner is very good at explaining the menu and making you feel comfortable. The dishes are good and in excellent portions. A great discovery.

02/04/2026: Disappointing. It's a tourist trap. The place looks nice enough inside, but the food just isn’t up to scratch. The ingredients tasted pretty low quality across the board. Two of us ordered the four-cheese pizza and both came out not even sliced, which already set the tone. It tasted alright at first, but then left a strange aftertaste.
We had to ask for plates to be served with the olive oil. Pasta was overcooked. The server came to take our plates away just as I was starting to eat my last slice of pizza and then attempted to take my plate away from me just as I was about to bit in. Same guy came back and got really pushy trying to get us to order more drinks, coffee and desert. We got the classic sneering look when we said no.

13/04/2026: The food isn't bad, but I wouldn't call it Greek, at least not for those who frequent Greece. Starting with the pita, which is very different from the traditional one, and the heavy use of garlic in the sauces.
I recommend it for a different kind of dinner, but not for a full Greek experience.
The zucchini balls are good, with the classic flavors of the originals. The setting is lovely, the atmosphere is pleasant... It's a shame the water is €4, but we're used to Venice by now.

12/04/2026: Walking from Bardolino to Lazise along the lakeside, we stopped for dinner halfway between the two towns, in Cisano. The restaurant offers a seat while you wait, with a glass of aperitif: not many do that... I was craving pizza and chose a crudo, but I could have ordered any dish: the menu offers a lot. The pasta was very good... the ham was perhaps cut too thick. Otherwise, my fellow waiters, like me, were impeccably fast! Fast, attentive, friendly: excellent! A sore point about the bathrooms: they are run down and smelly. You need to take a look in there every now and then: sometimes even the bathroom is part of your calling card.
