03/07/2025: Hello! On a very hot summer day after visiting the gardens, this place was open. A gentleman whose name I don't remember, but I think it was Carlo, served us incredibly well. We ordered a fresh salad, and it was very fresh! And a seafood platter. Excellent!! Delicious Aperol and some simple ice cream for dessert. We spent 43 euros on everything. I would go back a thousand times. I'm left with a wonderful feeling of being served by the elderly people who work there. This place may not be the most modern, but it has the charm of something you'd look for in Italy. THANK YOU ♥️

18/04/2025: Good welcome from the waitress. Quite typical restaurant setting, we can see that the pizzeria opened in 1965 (according to a photo on the wall) and has certainly not changed too much since then... but that is hardly annoying. Regulars laughing happily were in the restaurant. The pizzas were served quickly and tasted good. The SANTA MARIA which is at the pleasure of the chef had a surprising number of ingredients given the price...9 euros...what can I say?

Well, in short, pretty good food and so far... the main problem was the blonde lady who when we entered we could already see that she would treat the employees badly I don't know why but I had this feeling and... Tak it was exactly like that. He treated a poor employee badly in front of me and a friend of mine were not only sorry for him but amazed by his arrogance. I wonder why he had to do this? It's absurd. Truly unpleasant to lady never again

21/06/2025: Best ice cream in Chioggia, homemade and affordable!

02/06/2025: We went to dinner at this pastry shop during the day and restaurant in the evening. After a day in Chioggia we noticed the dynamism and attention to service by the waiters. Quality food, excellent fish from the mixed boiled meat appetizer to the linguine with Granseola, all framed by an excellent coffee that made us look and finally say a good coffee. Thanks from us and Perla the dog who enjoyed a taste of Granseola 🥰

24/07/2025: A summer Saturday, with a reservation for people, asked to sit outside, they make us sit inside in a corner... And after waiting 40 minutes, the. Grilled... here it comes nice and black and charred!!!

18/07/2025: Can't you give less? Terrible service, no explanation of the dishes, I order and there's no dish. The appetizer arrives...rancid...the requested bread...old and reheated. We got up and left after the appetizer...we really didn't want to risk getting sick. We figured out why the place was empty. Too bad...I'd been there about ten years ago and it wasn't bad...but now it's just...indescribable.

18/05/2025: We got there by chance… the kids really enjoyed the outdoor space where there are animals and we enjoyed the food. We ate well and will definitely return. The place is an old-fashioned trattoria, large spaces, friendly, helpful and easy-going staff. The price was right… and if the kids ate everything too, for us it's a great achievement…! Yes yes… we'll be back at the first opportunity!!! 😎🤗👍

06/06/2025: Se state pensando di organizzare il vostro matrimonio a Calcatonega, cambiate idea finché siete in tempo! La nostra esperienza con il titolare, Alberto, è stata a dir poco disastrosa e ve la sconsiglio vivamente. Fin dall'inizio, abbiamo riscontrato una mancanza totale di trasparenza e professionalità. Ci era stato presentato un preventivo per una struttura condivisa con altre persone, un'opzione che noi non avevamo minimamente richiesto e che non era affatto in linea con l'idea del nostro giorno speciale. Quando abbiamo fatto notare questo disguido, invece di rimediare o scusarsi, Alberto ha pensato bene di aumentare il prezzo in modo spropositato, rendendo la proposta completamente inaccettabile per il nostro budget e le nostre aspettative. Il vero incubo è iniziato quando, a seguito di questo aumento ingiustificato e della proposta non richiesta, abbiamo deciso che Calcatonega non faceva più per noi. Nonostante avessimo pagato una caparra di ben 500 euro otto mesi prima dell'evento, e senza aver recato alcun danno alla struttura, Alberto si è rifiutato categoricamente di restituirci la somma. Trovo questo comportamento profondamente scorretto e inaccettabile. Si è dimostrato completamente indisponibile al dialogo e irremovibile sulla sua posizione. In sintesi, Calcatonega, sotto la gestione di Alberto, si è rivelato un luogo dove la parola data e la correttezza contrattuale sembrano optional. La gestione è approssimativa, la comunicazione inesistente e l'etica professionale decisamente carente. Se non volete ritrovarvi con un buco nel portafoglio e un sacco di stress aggiuntivo nel periodo più bello della vostra vita, state alla larga da Calcatonega. Non potrei sconsigliarlo di più per l'organizzazione di un matrimonio.

11/07/2025: Great atmosphere, modest prices for cocktails, free event (strange but true!) where I had the chance to attend a Kirik set. There is certainly something to improve, also in terms of equipment for playing, but in general it is a great base for partying and enjoying music.

20/07/2025: Excellent experience at this bar! The drinks were delicious and fun, perfect for a special evening. The bartender, a very friendly and welcoming woman, made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The atmosphere had a great vibe, relaxed yet lively. I'll be back!

18/04/2025: Football evening in the best company: La Proseccheria After dinner I was looking for a cozy place to watch the highly anticipated football match between Milan and FC Bayern - and I found it at La Proseccheria. As soon as you entered, you noticed the pleasant and inviting atmosphere, which was perfect for watching football. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely attentive and friendly service. The waitress was always available to order drinks and helpful. This hospitality contributed significantly to the positive overall experience. The atmosphere during the game was simply great. There was a pleasant mix of excitement and relaxed conviviality, so you could enjoy the game to the fullest. La Proseccheria proved to be the ideal place to spend a thrilling evening of football in good company. Conclusion: La Proseccheria is an absolute recommendation for anyone looking for a cozy place to watch football after dinner. The attentive and friendly service as well as the great atmosphere make a visit a successful experience. 11/05/2025: I'm leaving one star only because I can't give 0....I went there once and I won't set foot there again....staff truly without any shred of professionalism or intelligence.....1 hour and a half queue to enter because it was compulsory to pass through a bunch of metal detectors by passing the bags in a basket and opening them as if we were criminals....absurd! 1 fucking hour and a half and then not even asking us if we had the pre-sale or not... seeing as the girl who gave the ticket didn't want to do a damn thing... sitting there being a pretty little statue giving the cards to the fucking dog without giving us the chance to ask her for information on the pre-sale we had purchased since she was throwing the card behind you and pushing us forward telling us to move forward in a bad way and honestly I often go to discos and in every club they ask you to show the qrcode or the pre-sale....except here...but look...we thought that at this point everyone had the pre-sale and it was compulsory or that they asked for it at the cash desk and we entered without giving it too much thought...the place is really dirty...the stickiness on the floor is disgusting...not even the former Custom Club in Vicenza was so dirty and that was truly indecent....obscene music and bartenders incapable of making a damn thing of soft drink or drink....the problem in itself was at the checkout because even though I had the pre-sale they asked me to pay 19 euros (I had only used the cloakroom for the jacket and had only drunk the drink included in the ticket) I paid since the queue was pushing...but since I was there I asked if it was ever possible to have to pay 19 euros with the pre-sale!...the girl made me talk to one of the bodyguards with whom I got into a heated argument because he blamed me for not having told the idiot who gave out the tickets that I had in advance because according to him they can't ask 1500 people per evening (look, they do it in every damn place except here and the time to make us go through that damn metal detector and search us and check our bags making us wait 1 and a half hours in the cold didn't they have it?) .... this man who wasn't there at the time of entry (when he claimed the opposite) was absurdly ignorant... he didn't even apologize or move to refund me and my partner the extra money spent (50 euros!!!). In fact, he dismissed us in a rude way....shameful attitude on the part of staff who don't know how to do their job in the slightest! For me this place could even close and go bankrupt. I advise against anyone... I will never set foot there again after being scammed without receiving even a shred of apology.... I'm disgusted!

04/07/2025: We were at the evening market and went to this restaurant. We were disappointed by the older waitresses—first the wrong drinks, then the wrong food (the food was okay, but it was wrong), and finally, the bill included a €4 service charge, not including the wait time. Not recommended...

18/06/2025: We visited the restaurant during the local evening market. The price/performance ratio was good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very busy both inside and out, so the three service employees were very busy. We had pizza, burgers, mussels, and schnitzel. --> Everything was OK and worth the price.

28/05/2025: Parece una buena relación calidad-precio, pero realmente, ir a la vuelta de la esquina a Sepa! Nos atendió una mujer en una camisa roja que no podía encontrar una sonrisa hasta que nos íbamos - la mujer en un short negro detrás del coche era simplemente encantador. La comida era buena pero cara para la zona y se equivocaron de orden - en general este bar tiene la capacidad de ser brillante, pero la mujer malhumorada que sirve la comida impactará la experiencia

06/05/2025: Recomendado como parte de un tour en TripAdvisor libro sobre Venecia. No decepcionó. Grandes tapas y una copa de prosecco. Definitivamente divertido en la planta baja. Tire sus cosas en una mesa y luego vuelva y pida sus tapas y bebidas.

14/07/2025: The rooms are clean, with good air conditioning, but without any amenities, not even a single coffee maker. Parking is available, but it's a street away from the hotel!

10/06/2025: Unacceptable prices! Menu said verbally without a card obviously... It appears to be a very informal restaurant, with home cooking, very easy-going service... but then you can't present a bill of 96 euros for 2 for: 1 water, 1/2 Lt of simple house red, 2 coffees and 1 Off grappa, 2 appetizers (I attach a photo of the cooked salami and polenta), 4 mixed side dishes, 1 steak and 1 rib eye steak (small, just right for one person).... shame because the meat is very good for goodness sake, but I can understand a price like that in a context with a completely different service and maybe taking a small bottle.. in my opinion a disgrace!!

03/05/2025: We have known the Vittoria "Da Rigon" inn for years and our experience has always been positive. The first courses of the Venetian tradition are excellent and the second courses of grilled meat are excellent... very nice and friendly and the service is excellent. To be recommended!!
