A pleasant discovery in the heart of Verona. Just steps from the Arena, I spent a truly enjoyable evening enjoying excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. The quality of the ingredients shines through in every dish, and the restaurant successfully combines tradition, flavor, and a truly enchanting location. A perfect spot for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. Definitely a place to consider when in the city center. Le Cantine de l’Arena is a worthwhile stop.

Helpful and friendly servers. Pizza and salad were delicious…fresh toppings, crispy crust, and many choices to choose from. Great, covered outdoor seating area with a view of the Arena. Would definitely recommend!

I recently discovered it because I'm not from Verona, but I won't be giving it up. Excellent location across from the Arena. Excellent, sophisticated dishes, and the pizzas are also good. The staff is very friendly!

Our visit to Le Cantine de l'Arena was a real highlight of our time in Verona. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, and the restaurant has a very special atmosphere – rustic, yet stylish and cozy. The food was excellent, especially the traditional Italian dishes and the wine selection, which we found very impressive. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The price-performance ratio is also excellent for this quality.

Great place for authentic Italian food. Sevice was amazing, right near the Arena. Good items off the menu as well so inquire. I had the whitefish ravioli which was very tasty however small plate of five pieces. So I got the duck breast ravioli so if hungry be prepared to get 2 dishes.

05/10/2025: We had lunch here and thought the service and food was exceptional. Spaghetti Ragu was delicious and we recommend the scampi entree. Both Campari and Aperol spritz was top shelf service. And most of all, the service was very wholesome with us and friendly. We would recommend to other tourists who wish to enjoy a meal by the Adige.
21/09/2025: A great restaurant with excellent food and, if you're lucky, a superb location. We happened upon this restaurant while taking a stroll and reserved one of the four tables outside in the little corner right by the river. You sit right by the river wall under large trees and have a view of either the opposite bank or the street, where you can enjoy some lovely people-watching. Nevertheless, it didn't feel touristy, but very "authentic Italian." We ate tuna tartare, spaghetti with calamari, Caesar salad, pork cheeks, and salt cod. The service was also very friendly and answered all our questions about the dishes.
