01/06/2025: Ho scoperto questo gioiello per caso e, me ne sono subito innamorata. Locale arioso, personale simpatico e attento, ti senti subito a tuo agio. I piatti sono buonissimi e le porzioni abbondanti. L'unico e il solo ristorante per me, al Lido di Venezia.

06/08/2025: I called last week for a pizza delivery. I was told they wouldn't move for just one pizza (until the last pizza), so they could make a round with a minimum of two. I called this evening to order two pizzas. I was told they wouldn't move for two pizzas, that it was 8:00 PM and you can't order delivery at that time (I didn't expect them to arrive right away; in fact, they could arrive by 9:00 PM depending on the rounds), and that they had other deliveries, so they wouldn't take the order for a second time. I would have paid for the delivery and maybe even given a tip for their helpfulness, but the girl on the phone was really rude and unpleasant, so I made it clear that I wouldn't call again given the continued poor service.

09/04/2025: Very welcoming and well-kept place.... We ate an exquisite, light, crunchy and well-stuffed pizza with excellent quality ingredients. Excellent desserts. Fast, friendly and professional service. Highly recommended.

05/09/2025: We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with a beautiful view. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere made our visit truly special. We encountered a small issue with the payment, but the owner and the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and patient. They immediately assisted us and resolved everything in the best way possible. Their hospitality and professionalism made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

07/07/2025: I have been a regular customer for years and it is always worse regarding the staff, such rude and arrogant shop assistants never met in any other supermarket. I was speechless to see how they treat customers, I will definitely not return, I prefer to change supermarket. I hope that sooner or later Panorama will realize the staff they are hiring🫣

05/09/2025: A great place in the evening with live music. The atmospher, the drinks are just benissimo! 🤌 People in the comments complain about prices, but they have no one else to blame but themselves - everything is clearly written in the menu. Take-out & sit-down pricing is standard practice in Venice! The prices are worth it for the live music alone! On top of that, you are sitting, as Napoleon put it, in the Drawing room of Europe in one of the oldest cafes in Venezia! If you want cheap drinks and food - make it at home 😃 The drinks, the staff, the service, and of course the musicians are trly amazing! Just relax, enjoy, and forget about your bills for one night. Thank you 🙏

02/09/2025: Tourist trap. Even though this is expensive, the service was the worst. Many waiters just standing there looking far away. Had to waive like 10 times to get someone’s attention that wasnt clearly doing anything. Drink is basic, you basically paid for the view which is free. The concerto only pay attention to guest who gives tips

27/08/2025: We went for lunch, the fixed menu for €15 featured generous and delicious dishes. The wait staff was very kind and patient, even with children. Special mention goes to the gentleman with graying hair for his friendliness and cordiality. We'll definitely be back.

24/05/2025: Super welcoming atmosphere and staff!!! Even though the kitchen was already closed, they welcomed us with great kindness and availability, offered an exquisite dinner and even with hot dishes. Everything delicious! A place with a big heart and soul.

02/07/2025: Impeccable service! I only had a quick lunch but I will definitely be back. The food and service were ultra-fast as it should be for a "workers' lunch" but the quality of the food served was much higher than a workers' menu. Despite the amount of customers, the staff still found time for a chat and a joke and there was certainly no shortage of smiles. I absolutely recommend

14/08/2025: Two nights accommodation in an attic room uncomfortable to say the least a continuous slamming of doors impossible to rest obsolete air conditioning, broken room doors and VELUX curtains fixed with wire in my opinion unprofessional the sun came in like on the beach breakfast nothing special definitely to be reviewed. FIRST AND LAST TIME

12/08/2025: We stayed one night. The location was excellent, close to the sea and the city center. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. The owners were polite and helpful.

29/05/2025: After a week of travelling and eating some amazing food, I thought we'd leave on a high on beautiful Mazzorbo, rejuvenated in part due to Michelin starred Venissa and it's slightly more affordable Osteria. Let's get it out of the way - the location is incredible, with the open dining room being an exceptional way to enjoy view of the vineyard and Chiesa. We chose the Osteria, as it being our last night, we couldn't necessarily splash out on the main restaurant's menu. We also hoped a more relaxed atmosphere would make a nice change in busy Venice. While this was all true, it just led to the most disappointing meal of the trip. The food on the taster menu was various levels of 'fine'; while all locally sourced and fresh, everything tasted under seasoned and, in some cases, bland. Even my favourite dish, the main fish, was more appealing for variety and quantity than flavour. The dessert was also a damp conclusion, a simple meringue dish, which was a bit one note. The wine pairing also disappointed as the flavour of the food wasn't strong enough to interact, and vermouth as a final glass was wild. Service could have greatly improved our opinion but it existed in a strange middle-ground between fine dining (explaining the food and wine pairing) and poor table service (two staff, overworked and dismissive). We even started finding reasons to be annoyed by the end (other diners definitely got more from their wine pairing than us), such was our sour mood. All in all, wouldn't suggest making the journey and spending what was a lot for not much.

11/07/2025: As in other reviews, I can confirm that this is a trattoria stuck in time, but it's exactly what I expected and what I was looking for, seeking out traditional dishes and flavors. The staff were kind and friendly; otherwise, I found everything else to be average, and my rating is slightly above average. I definitely recommend a visit.

15/06/2025: At Gemma you enter a trattoria that seems to have been frozen in time. You can still have a chat with Mrs. Gemma in the restaurant that is now run by her very good daughters. The choice is not excessive and the food is simple but very tasty, typical of the Venetian tradition. The experience ends with excellent homemade desserts. I recommend the trio of cod and the ricotta and fig dessert!
