23/06/2025: Second night in Venice, on vacation from the US. The location was perfect , food was excellent but most important was the service. Marco the manager and John the waiter were amazing, very accommodating and respectful. The rib eye steak was delicious and the spaghetti was perfectly cooked with a perfect amount of spice. Highly recommend !

15/05/2025: Price quality does not match Pros: Very polite and friendly staff Good location Nice interior design The wine we ordered was good And unfortunately that's it. Cons: Absolutely not tasty food. Pasta with fish was not tasty, there were a couple of pieces of fish inside and that's it. My friend's steak was rubbery.

26/06/2025: I ordered a cake on Monday evening, asking if it was possible to have it ready for Wednesday, they replied that it was no problem......I want to compliment you, because in addition to having satisfied me, the cake was delicious and beautifully decorated.......the birthday girl also thanks you very much😋

08/06/2025: Ottima gelateria da asporto, con un buon plateatico di fronte con panchine per gustare il gelato con calma e tranquillità. Prezzi nella media, 1,80 € a pallina. Gelato buonissimo, servizio eccellente. Locale aperto da marzo/aprile (Pasqua circa) a fine settembre/ottobre.

02/06/2025: Esta joya de un restaurante está escondido en un callejón trasero a pocas cuadras del Gran Canal cerca del Puente de Rialto. Ofrecen sabrosas versiones de los clásicos italianos, así como excelentes mariscos frescos. Se puede cenar en un gran comedor con encanto o en el patio, el servicio fue rápido y oportuno. Después de un excelente primer plato de pasta tuvimos marisco fresco. Los calamares a la parrilla y el filete de atún estaban entre los mejores platos de nuestras vacaciones europeas de tres semanas. Sorprendente barato para un restaurante de calidad en Venecia. Vale la pena el esfuerzo para encontrarlo.

From crab to fish, every bite was a delight. Excellent quality, attentive service, and a price that reflects the high standard. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine seafood with a creative touch.

08/06/2025: 09:15 this morning..maybe it's not my lucky day 🙈 I go in, say hello and wait, I don't find any answer.... I wait... After 5 minutes a girl shows up, very shy from the look of it and with a flexible voice that I struggled to hear from a meter away from me' 😭😂... I need 2 take-away croissants, one with cream and one with chocolate. She takes a bag and puts the croissant in and doesn't tell me what flavor it was, I ask and I struggle to hear. Then she goes to the kitchen and comes back with the same voice... I'm sorry but we've run out of chocolate ones...😫 A beautiful day. You can't work like this, those behind a counter must have a tone of voice that makes themselves heard by the customers, plus the welcome from a person who is a bartender is totally different, if at that moment there are orders to be processed from customers who arrived earlier, you greet the customer who arrived and ask them to wait a few moments. I want to jump on you!

11/08/2025: Well, unfortunately, in all honesty, I have to say that we weren't very happy with our evening.....so we arrived with about ten people, we made a reservation....practically all of us had pizza and a fish....nothing special, let's say...well first of all the service leaves a bit to be desired.... The glasses don't arrive but the drinks do, then a bottle of sparkling wine arrives which is supposed to be their bulk wine (that's what they call it) and the waiter doesn't even manage to open it and forgets the glasses....okay....then the wait....a good 45 minutes of waiting where in the meantime pizzas were being served to customers who arrived well after us.....in the meantime the fish arrives but not the pizzas...here too......another almost 20 minutes of waiting.....the pizzas arrive in batches there too.....then we finish, sweet wine for the cake here too.....the women should be served first in theory.....anyway.....now the bill....pay 30 euros for a sweet wine like that is a steal... I honestly didn't think so and on top of that 1 euro per person for the cake service which is true we brought it ourselves but damn we had dinner at your place... I forgot... 30 euros also for the fish (sea bass) of about 500 grams it was written... on the plate I think there was less than 200 grams of pulp... well, in short I have to say that we were all quite disappointed especially by the service and the waiting time which really need to be reviewed and improved... it's a shame because there are really a lot of waiters around and a service and waiting time like that are very annoying.....

29/05/2025: The Antica Trattoria Bertolini in Padua enjoys a pleasant and well-kept location: a clean environment, well-arranged tables and an atmosphere that promises a peaceful lunch break. Too bad that the overall experience is irremediably ruined by the attitude of the staff that to call rude is an understatement. Already at the time of ordering, the incomprehensible presence of a trolley with cooked and raw vegetables in the room leaves room for doubt: will they be available or are they there for show? When I asked for a simple mixed salad - a more than reasonable request for a lunch break - the waiter's reaction was that of someone who has just received a personal insult. Grumbling, impatient looks and the clarification, almost with contempt, that "we don't put anything like tuna or other things in it". Don't worry, we won't even ask you to dress it with edible gold. But the real cult moment took place at the cash register: asking for a separate bill unleashed a management apocalypse. “This is how you’re going to close me down, I’ve never seen anything like this,” we were told in an accusatory tone. I’ve never seen such a disproportionate reaction, one might say. 15 euros for a bowl of vegetables, water and coffee. Not even in the most pretentious bistro in the centre of Milan, where at least they serve you vegetables with a smile and a protein of your choice. A real wasted opportunity: it wouldn’t take much to make the service up to the context, but evidently kindness isn’t on the menu. Too bad, because with a different welcome we would have returned. Instead… yes, we will definitely return (believe it), and it will be my personal commitment to warmly recommend it to friends and family… to avoid it. 🤣

04/08/2025: We visited there twice this year. We enjoyed everything: great pizzas, delicious fish dishes, and antipasti. The "Frutti di Mare" (fruits of the sea), bruschetta, gnocchi dishes, and pizzas are particularly noteworthy. The wines are also appealing. The service is very good, friendly, and prompt, with no significant wait times. The value for money is also good!

21/07/2025: Unprofessional arrogant staff - ZERO stars Visited with my 6-year-old daughter around 8 pm to order takeaway — she was too tired to dine in. Despite a sign outside, we were told (in Italian only) that takeaway starts at 9 pm. The older staff member laughed at me publicly for not understanding his Italian, and the rest of the team stood by in silence. My daughter was visibly upset. This isn’t just poor service — it’s arrogance. The local staff act like they own the place and the area, assuming tourists will spend money regardless. For a tourist-facing business during high season, the owner should invest in properly trained, multilingual staff — not rely on local entitlement. I won’t return — and I hope others choose to support more respectful, service-minded restaurants.

29/08/2025: I've been to this pizzeria several times this year and have always been more than satisfied. Excellent value. The service is always perfect and the staff is friendly.

28/08/2025: This restaurant has a large indoor area with Italian delicacies (a large stone oven for pizzas). It's beautifully designed, and the staff is friendly. Languages ​​spoken: Italian and English. Outside, there's a large terrace overlooking the on-site playground. This includes plenty of sand and various climbing frames, including a trampoline. So, there's something for everyone, especially for children. Highly recommended. The prices include use of the playground and the (clean) restrooms. So, you can easily spend two to three hours there.

29/03/2025: Nice pub, great food, and a pleasant atmosphere! I had a great time; the staff was friendly, and the menu had a good variety. I didn't notice it at first because it's on a crossroads, but once I found it, it was worth it. I'll gladly return!
