16/08/2025: The host, who is also the only waiter in the entire room, is incapable of doing his job, is rude, self-centered, and way over the top. His self-importance and arrogance are counterproductive. The service is rude, very slow, and very distracted. Some customers aren't taken into consideration. We waited 30 minutes to be seated for water. When we asked for at least a drink order (oddly enough, he had taken our food order, not our drinks), he gestured with both hands to us to stay calm. At that point, we left. The table next to us was about to leave, just as annoyed as we were (I don't know if they followed us or resisted). It's a truly absurd situation. I believe good manners are essential for anyone who runs a hospitality/restaurant business. The restaurant is located in front of Villa dei Vescovi, which is probably the only real reason the business survives despite this truly absurd management.

15/08/2025: Ferragosto lunch with friends; they reserved a table for us outside, under a wisteria tree. The appetizers, first courses, and grilled meat were exceptional; pasta was strictly homemade; and desserts were excellent. The portions were generous. We took the rest of the grilled meat home. I was surprised by the bill; I expected to pay more.

02/09/2025: The worst lasagna I've ever eaten! The consistency is like pudding and it's definitely not fresh!

30/08/2025: The restaurant was very attractive from the outside, with smiling and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the dishes left us wanting. The lasagna was meaty and well-presented, but lacked flavor and was fatty, and the béchamel sauce had a consistency similar to jelly. The pizza was large and flavorful, but the dough and sauce were almost imperceptible. Unfortunately, the price-to-quality ratio wasn't good.

19/08/2025: We stopped by for an evening aperitif. The rudeness of the staff was immediately apparent, as they greeted us abruptly and disrespectfully. There's no menu with prices. We ordered two beers, a glass of wine, a spritz, and a platter. The platter cost €25 and included a few slices of cold cuts, some cheeses, some walnuts, and some bread (dry and unhealthy)... an outrageous price. We'll never return.

19/08/2025: We were greeted rudely. The service was slow and sarcastic. When we asked to see a wine list or a price list, the answer was a firm NO. The waitress didn't offer any suggestions, only asking, "White or red?" We tried to mention a few names for a local drink (since we're in a wine bar!) or even a simple Hugo, and the answer was NO. No explanation. The bill was steep and, in our opinion, unfair, if only because, without a price list, it wasn't possible to predict it. (€25 for a plate with a few slices of soppressa and speck, two types of cheese, and onion mustard) Not recommended

31/07/2025: After a bad experience at a famous local pizzeria, we sent Caterino back. What can I say? It shows who knows their job, and they immediately put us at ease and even sat us down with napkins and glasses. UPDATED. We both felt sick. Thirsty and had trouble digesting. The dough didn't rise properly. I'm sorry.

13/05/2025: Very charming place in the lower Veronese, built by recovering an old mill part of a large Venetian courtyard in red bricks. The restaurant is really beautiful, comfortable, you eat well, especially meat-based dishes.

17/02/2025: I arrived at this hotel, everything was very nice, except that I paid for four nights and I could only stay for two without any refund. I returned for another two nights hoping for a bit of a discount but nothing. The lady is very strict and advised me to book on booking.com

18/05/2025: Oggi abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante, siamo stati subito accolti benissimo, il cameriere che ci ha servito è stato professionale, gentile e ci ha fatto sentire molto bene. Il cibo è buono e abbondante. Appena siamo usciti dal ristorante tutti noi abbiamo sottolineato quanto siamo stati ben serviti. Per tutti questi motivi noi superconsigliamo questo ristorante e ringraziamo tutto lo staff.

14/04/2025: Delicious food, nice atmosphere. Authentic gallery space with art works from the local artists. 40 years family business. Local fishes and very tasty Italian desserts. Thank you for an experience.

16/07/2025: So so gelato and terrible staff. We were asked to leave or "buy at least coffee" if we wanted to sit at the table. Waitress told us there was a printed card with "the rules". There were like 5 bloody cards, mostly in italian and german. Sorry I didn't waste my time to read and translate them all before making a bloody order. Btw. the place was literally empty so it's not like we would take somebody's place. EDIT: And yet, you're still trying to lecture me. In case you didn't get it- my review isn't about the policy, it's about way of communication. Let that sink in.

11/07/2025: We bought ice cream for our kids and sat down at the small table with chairs outside the café. Even though the place was completely empty and no customers were eating there, we were told we couldn’t stay and had to leave because we weren’t allowed to eat the ice cream there. Very unwelcoming and disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

21/05/2025: Ristorante trovato casualmente tramite Internet per un incontro di lavoro. Bellissima sorpresa. Raramente dó 5 punti ad un ristorante ma in questo caso sono tutti meritati. Ristorante a conduzione familiare, molto carino nella sua semplicità, curato e molto pulito. Servizio al top, accoglienza calda e gentile come raramente si trova. Prodotti di elevata qualità trattati magistralmente dallo chef che rendono ogni piatto bello agli occhi e gustoso al palato. Ottime le carni, buonissimi i dolci. Ci tornerò sicuramente. Se non ci siete mai stati, sicuramente da provare. 🔝🔝🔝

24/07/2025: Sehr gutes Essen. Serviert wie bei Mutter zu Hause. Chef spricht auch deutsch ,und dem schönsten Sonnenuntergang den man sich wünschten kann. RESERVIEREN ,!!!

02/07/2025: Very nice service the cleaning lady is very nice and the waiters Ashik and Sharif are the best I've ever seen I recommend the food is very good the air conditioning in the rooms works very well the beds are comfortable only 150m to the free beach with a free shower and toilet on the rocks on the beach there are crabs and fish of different species so I recommend

23/08/2025: I've eaten there a few times. The value for money is excellent. The only thing that could be improved would be the service. The staff seemed quite rude to me... I asked twice in a row if there was room to eat, and they responded with incredible arrogance. It's a shame because the pizza is really good.

04/01/2025: Ciaspe mezze crude all'interno, abbrustolite all' esterno. Pomodoro cotto pochissimo e di cattivo sapore. Condimento poco curato (i miei galletti erano completamente insapore). Bravi i camerieri, cortesi e veloci, ma la pizza è ai limiti del mangiabile. Eravamo stati alcuni mesi fa (settembre) ma ho trovato una qualità decisamente peggiore adesso. Peccato.

28/11/2024: Ho sentito molto parlare di questo locale e sicuramente la cena di ieri non ha deluso le mie aspettative. Abbiamo ordinato una pizza Alpino e una Botte del Re. La Alpino con la sua soppressa di cinghiale e le patate era molto particolare e caratteristica, l'abbiamo apprezzata molto. La pizza botte del re non ha deluso la nostra voglia di piccante, la n'duja ci stava davvero bene. L'atmosfera è informale, molto accogliente e familiare. Il cameriere, Michael, che ci ha serviti, era molto competente, rapido e simpatico. I suoi consigli per la cena si sono rivelati azzeccatissimi. Torneremo sicuramente a provare pizza al vapore e ciaspe.

04/09/2025: This restaurant is located a short distance from the center of Cesuna (walking distance for those who enjoy walking). Abundant, high-quality food; you must specify how you want the meat (rib-eye steak and rib-eye steak) cooked when ordering. The aroma of the ragù is simply enticing. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Welcoming atmosphere.

26/08/2025: Excellent lunch! Typical and delicious dishes. I recommend the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, gnocchi with ragù, and the Treviso rib eye steak. Some dishes are off-menu depending on the day. The atmosphere is suitable for families with small children. We'll definitely be back!

06/07/2025: Pues nos encantó este pequeño bar al lado del Mercado de Rialto. Una pena que no tenga mesas y solo haya un par de blanquitos. Tienes unos buenos vinos y con diferencia lo precios más económicos para vinos y tapas de Venezia.
