24/11/2025: Oh, please, don't call it a pub. This place is a real restaurant in every sense of the word.
Located in Piazza Castello in Marostica, the main square of this famous town, where every two years a live chess game takes place. Here you can find traditional Venetian dishes with a modern twist.
The Vicenza-style cod with polenta was delicious.
Tasty dishes, generous portions, quick service, and fair prices are typical.
Truly very good.
18/10/2025: Fantastic second course, sliced Iberian beef with vegetables, they also have 0% alcohol, excellent location, in front of the chess square. Friendly staff.

10/11/2025: The gnocchi were decent, but I should mention the sauces brought separately in large quantities, which I doubt would be thrown away once they're collected. Having seen people at other tables mopping up the gnocchi with bread, I'm not going to go back for more. The baked potatoes tasted like a mixture of boiled potatoes and mashed potatoes. The desserts were excellent.
05/11/2025: A restaurant with home cooking,
with excellent food, delicious gnocchi with four different sauces: amatriciana, meat, tomato, and butter and sage. The desserts are also very good, including amaretto tiramisu. The service is excellent, they make you feel at home. I highly recommend it!

22/04/2025: We were looking for some food and as most establishments were closed we ended up here. Very friendly lady at the bar, we asked for an english menu and received one with a smile. Ordered a pizza and penne bolognese. Both very good and at a low price. Would recommend.

08/12/2025: We even waited in line for 10 minutes to pay the bill, which we realized had been inflated by three extra schiacciatas, and we didn't order or get any coffee. Excessive pursuit of profit, without managing it. Nevertheless, the platters were of good quality and quantity.

07/12/2025: Both the pizza and the food are excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming.
11/11/2025: The location isn't much, in a warehouse, but there's convenient parking. Sunday noon, after a bike ride. The toasted polenta appetizer with soppressa and gorgonzola was good. The salted meat was decent. The grilled sea bass was sold out, so I had to opt for the paccheri cacio e pepe, which was extremely salty and practically inedible. The limoncello was excellent and plentiful, worthy of an extra star. Prices weren't exactly cheap.

23/10/2025: Great place, emphasis on fish, but other choices too. We didn't book, they fitted us in, but before long they were turning people away, which is always a good sign to its popularity. We had prawn cocktail, and fried Prawns and sardines to start, very large portions for a starter. We then had sea bass, and John Dory for main course, both delicious. A vibrant atmosphere, highly recommended.
21/10/2025: A hidden spot away from the city center. Very unique and with delicious food. These are places you stumble across unintentionally, and they're worth coming back for. It's essential to book.

05/11/2025: A simple but excellent pizzeria. A wide selection of pizzas and other dishes; we chose fried fish, bigoli, and a few pizzas: everything was excellent, plentiful, and the pizzas were well-topped. One of the few places where the prices remain excellent! Recommended.

09/11/2025: As soon as we arrived in Burano, my girlfriend and I walked past this pastry shop.
My girlfriend suggested I try the traditional biscuit called Bussolà buranello, a true specialty of the island of Burano.
I couldn't resist when I saw the biscuits in the window.
The flavor is rich in butter and lightly flavored with vanilla; I'm so glad I tried this specialty. You can really taste the artisanal skill and love of tradition.
I didn't find it extraordinary, but it was a lovely experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in Burano; the shopkeeper was very friendly.

This morning I tried the pistachio brioche 🥐 special, a unique delicacy!!
The staff were kind and friendly!!
26/10/2025: Poor pastries, confusing service, noisy atmosphere. The cappuccino was 90% foam, priced well above average, and served in a cup well below the average size for cappuccinos.
A terrible experience.
