05/10/2025: Always good! The food and service are excellent. The price is right. An early dinner at sunset on the lakeside terrace is unique. We come regularly and are happy to recommend it.

01/10/2025: This was our first time eating at Da Carlo. Lakeside seating is always great. The waiter seated us – then no one came for eight minutes, even though two waiters were looking interestedly in all directions – except ours. Probably because a large table with a birthday party was eating behind us. The chef saw us and came straight to the table to take our order. The food (octopus and trout) was divine. Very, very tasty and beautifully presented. The sauce for the octopus was fantastic. The wine was also delicious. After dinner, we ordered two espressos, which unfortunately didn't arrive even after ten minutes. The waiter didn't respond to hand signals. Conclusion: great food, but the service still has a lot of room for improvement. Perhaps we picked the wrong day, even though it was around 6 p.m. on a weekday (Monday).

26/07/2025: Amazing bar/cafe. They were kind enough to make my favorite winter cocktail during the summer when we came in out of the rain. The owner is a pure delight. So funny and full of spirit. Love this joint.

19/08/2025: First time for a business lunch, the staff were friendly and fast, and the starter and side dish I ordered were good. Perhaps I misunderstood when I asked for a workers' set menu, but then they added the 1/4 cup of wine I ordered to the bill, and from €13 I ended up spending €15.50.

12/08/2025: I haven't had the chance to stop for dinner yet, but I've stopped a few times for an aperitif and a cicchetti... once even with my father, who, to our great surprise, recognized himself in one of the black and white photos hanging in the place... great emotion!!!

18/08/2025: We stayed at the property for a week and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast and dinner were excellent and plentiful, and the location is very convenient and strategic for anyone wanting to enjoy various activities in the surrounding area.

31/08/2025: Passing through on a hike, I stopped at this restaurant. I must say I made an excellent choice. The building is quite large, with various very old mountain relics. The menu is varied. I had a fish dish, which was very good. The waitresses are very helpful and kind. The prices are very reasonable.

22/08/2025: I've been coming to this refuge for a while: the food is excellent, with authentic dishes, especially the truly special trout. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly. The owner is helpful, extremely kind, and warm-hearted, always attentive not only to guests but also to what's happening around the refuge, creating an authentic and pleasant atmosphere. A place where you always feel welcome.

21/09/2025: Small tavern with a beautiful vaulted cellar where the aperitif is served. They also serve 24-month-aged ham. The food is excellent! We had tagliata (beef steak strips with rosemary) and tortellini. Probably the best of my life! The service was very friendly! All in all, a successful evening. Sonja & Fred

25/08/2025: We had another excellent meal at Incontro: the duck bigoli and the rosemary tagliata – cooked to perfection, exactly as requested. The value for money was excellent, and we had a lovely evening. The garden is a special place in the summer, and it's romantic.

03/10/2025: I've visited the place several times, so I'm giving it 4 stars because I've always had a great experience, with friendly and helpful staff. It's located in a quiet, relaxing corner of Affi, just a few meters from the main, and therefore busy, roads. It's also strategically located for cycling routes. If you're passing through, definitely stop here.

15/09/2025: You absolutely have to try their super-leavened pizza, it's delicious, I really enjoyed it. Helles beer, just the way I like it... I tried their tiramisu, one word... Sublime It looks like a normal bar, but what gems I found here! Stop by, it's worth it.

07/10/2025: We went there on the recommendation of a friend. We know several top restaurants in the Bardolino area, but La Dacia is hard to beat as a whole. The location and ambiance were fantastic. The food and drinks were excellent. The roast lamb and coffee sorbet were delicious. The prices were still cheaper than in Bardolino itself. We were there on a Wednesday. There was live music with an incredibly good singer. It was an evening like no other in a long time. Many thanks to the attentive, friendly team at La Dacia. We will be regular customers. 👍👍 A little addendum: I found a video. 😀 Panacotta doesn't get any better than this, and above all: not drowned in some kind of sauce, but just fruit on its own. That's how it should be.

06/10/2025: I had the best pumpkin tortelli of my life! Excellent vegetables, discovered by chance and had a great time, highly recommend!
