04/11/2025: On Friday, October 31st, during a visit to the city of Verona, we stopped at this place for an aperitivo, as usual. We've been going there for years, and to be honest, it's never disappointed us. This time, however, we were quite surprised when we got the bill. We ordered a glass of Bardolino (honestly, not particularly noteworthy), an Aperol Spritz, four canapés made with slices of really small commercial baguette and barely any toppings, as well as two tiny meatballs, one with tomato sauce and one without. I understand that we're in the heart of Verona, but €6 for a Spritz and €2.50 each for marble-sized meatballs seem like hard-to-justify prices. As regulars, we were shocked to pay a total of €22 for a frankly modest aperitivo. I write this short review with some regret, because we have always appreciated the atmosphere and service, but the quality has seemed to be declining and, for a price of this level, one would expect something capable of positively surprising rather than perplexing.

15/04/2025: Dinner with friends, as soon as you arrive you feel the atmosphere of home. Beautiful place with paintings, lithographs, prints, phrases that refer to Argentina. Trained waiter who recommends an excellent Argentine wine. They bring us an entree of bean pâté, flavored butter to be served with the various types of bread. We ordered two trios of empandas as an aperitif, very good, very hot and light. Everyone then took different meats, I had an encore of ribs. They were absolutely soft, accompanied by black beans, cassava, and grilled vegetables, I struggled to finish it all. Those who ate the fillet said it was very soft. To keep things light with the dessert I had a lime sorbet, nice and cold which cleaned up my mouth. The bill is ok, it's not like a restaurant, but it pays off for the friendliness, friendliness, professionalism and quality.

02/10/2025: The owner is a fantastic person, welcoming and kind. I had breakfast there one day and on my way back I had lasagna and cutlet with sides. Everything was excellent, and the prices are super fair. I was passing through on a bike trip and can't wait to return with my family. Fantastic experience 😍😍😍

29/09/2025: The menu is simple, but the dishes are delicious and carefully prepared: just the right amount of quality and quantity. The service is quick and efficient. The atmosphere is clean, albeit very minimal. Recommended, also for the fair price.

12/11/2025: If you want pizza, Vesuvio is the answer. While the entrance is a bit shabby and the first dining room gives a bad impression, the interior terrace is very pleasant. An extensive pizza menu that will make your mouth water, thin crust (the authentic kind) and perfectly baked. We ordered a Caprese salad first to whet our appetites, and ended up dipping our bread in it: tomato, mozzarella, olive oil, Modena balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to taste... a pleasure that can only be experienced in Italy, no matter how much they try to copy it elsewhere.

28/10/2025: A large restaurant of a high standard, the food is of the highest standard, the presentation of the dishes is excellent, the service is very attentive and the service is very precise, the staff is of the highest level in the Veneto region.

22/10/2025: I ordered the stir-fried clams and pasta, which wasn't quite to my liking, as the flavor was bland and the noodles were quite firm. 🥲 My friends also commented on the other two dishes, saying the noodles were too firm. If you prefer softer noodles, I suggest ordering pizza instead. The tomato sauce on the Margherita pizza was just right, not too sweet or too sour. The crust was a bit dry on the outside, so a drizzle of the restaurant's olive oil made it easier to eat.

23/07/2025: Everything was perfect for dinner, but the typical Apulian focaccia was burnt just not acceptable! Both the bread and the stuffed versions were smoked ☹️...and the cherry tomato flavor was still delicious!!! Imagine what they would have been if they hadn't arrived burnt...😋😋😋😋

Spread across two floors, it can accommodate large groups while maintaining an acceptable level of noise that still allows for socializing. Service is quick and efficient, with no major glitches or omissions. The food is good, definitely tempting, and provides a great backdrop for a quiet dinner with friends.

28/09/2025: We had dinner with four adults and two children. I'm giving it two stars only because the restaurant was nice and the waiters were friendly, but paying €74 for about 1kg of Florentine steak that arrived cold was absolutely not an option. We obviously asked for it to be grilled, but since we wanted it rare, imagine the end result. Never again.

28/09/2025: Went to this place with friends, the meat was really excellent, the Florentine steak was exceptional. The side dishes were also good, the wine was good, and to finish, a delicious tiramisu. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and it's worth a try. 👌
