22/11/2024: Highly recommended! The professionalism and friendliness of Ellen, Michael and Nunzio create an excellent festive atmosphere for spending a cheerful evening! Large variety of dishes, sandwiches, burgers, etc. all very good. The pastrami is awesome! Excellent choice of beers, cocktails and spirits, especially rums.

06/10/2024: The place is too small to adequately manage all the customers present. Few tables so if you arrive at a certain time you won't find a seat. For this reason the service is often slow, both when ordering dishes and then receiving them at the table. The dishes were all delicious, even if the quantity has decreased, but the price has increased.

05/04/2025: I've been visiting my good friend in Rovigo and have had mixed experiences in the various establishments as a foreigner visiting from NYC. One of my first nights here I was looking for a cocktail and walked into Antico Coghetto around 21.10. I didn't realize they had closed 10 minutes ago but Maurizio was very sweet and made me a drink anyway. When I realized I apologized, gulped it down, and we both had a good laugh about it. That's when I knew this spot was super chill. I've been coming back almost every day for lunch and drinks. Their coffee is great, food is great, cocktails are great, they have WiFi and they are patient with my terrible Italian. Grazie mille Coghetto and Maurizio! You're a lifesaver. 🥇

12/04/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo posto perché Google lo dava come migliore pizza di Verona. Arrivati lì, pensavamo di aver sbagliato posto perchè quella che abbiamo mangiato non è definibile Pizza. Non saprei neanche come descriverla… una sorta di piadina fatta con farina di mais. Mangiata in piedi nella pizza perché il posto è piccolissimo e non ci sono posti a sedere. A qualcuno potrebbe piacere ma non a chi cerca la pizza!

Excellent value for money, I got a pizza that was delicious and light and believe me because I'm from Campania. I highly recommend it to everyone, but certainly to other colleagues. 10/04/2025: I had high expectations, but I was very disappointed, the starters were good, the second course was poor in quantity and flavour. The grill was really poor.... we asked for the side dishes that were included in the tasting menu, they brought us a bit of mixed salad to share as well as the desserts, the mixed fry was not seafood and we didn't like it very much. Maybe it was Thursday and it wasn't the right day......

31/03/2025: The number of stars does not always indicate the quality of a place. 100 km journey, so many expectations......A disaster!! I explicitly asked for only local and fresh fish products (apart from 2 small scallops and 3 well-done fried "moèche") I found a mixed grill where the eel was inedible (bitter skin and meat that was flaking and tasteless); 2 soles taste flat and smell stale; 4 bitter prawns and smell of ammonia; 2 scampi sufficient; 2 chewy, flat calamari. I pointed out to the cook that the products were not fresh and asked about their traceability: she replied angrily that by using the blast chiller the products were "fresh" and that I could leave. I paid the bill and left.
