05/08/2026: Bad experience, an unbearable stench of urine, a poor woman who didn't speak Italian and asked us four times what Norcia (in Umbria) was. We then had it, but with minced meat and not even a hint of truffle, and warm beer. Finally, I paid with American Express (listed), and a pseudo-owner, arrogant and uncouth, instead of confessing that they don't accept it to avoid paying commissions, told me that my card was bad. Never again.

10/06/2026: I dined at Agriturismo Il Melograno in Pianello (Perugia) and had a very positive experience. The restaurant is welcoming and nestled in a beautiful, tranquil setting, perfect for a relaxing evening.
The food was good quality, with well-prepared and flavorful traditional Umbrian dishes. I particularly enjoyed the homemade first courses and the generous portions. The ingredients seemed authentic and local.
The service was courteous and helpful, albeit a little slow, in keeping with the agriturismo's style.
Overall, a pleasant dinner and recommended for those who want to sample local cuisine in a rustic, tranquil setting.

03/06/2026: We had lunch at Mamma Ida's on Saturday, May 30th. The food was really good: gnocchi with ricotta and sausage, lentil soup, and a cheese appetizer. Everything was good and plentiful, except for the cheeses, which were a bit pricey for the portion. For dessert, a ricotta, lentil, and chocolate tart was truly excellent. The view of the entire landscape was beautiful, but it was a shame the flowers hadn't started to bloom yet.

Also appreciated that this was outside of the city center, easy to get to with No ZTL.

07/05/2026: Rarely has a last-minute choice been more fortunate than this: in addition to the pleasant outdoor setting just steps from the Duomo, the service was friendly and courteous, like being at home. The appetizers were excellent and more than enough for two. The first courses were excellent and plentiful. It's a shame we didn't have the energy to try the desserts, which, having seen them at other tables, looked promising. The house wine was superior to more or less "reputable" bottles we'd tasted in the area. The bill was perfect.
27/04/2026: We spent a lovely evening there. The homemade pasta and the meat were great! The staff were absolutely friendly! Next time in Foligno, we'll come back!

25/07/2026: Excellent pizza. It's exemplary. They prepare it quickly and to a high standard. The menu is small, but it has everything you need. The staff is very friendly, especially the manager (or maybe he's the owner, I don't know). We moved to this small town with four children, and our family has now made it a tradition to celebrate birthdays and other holidays at this pizzeria. The prices are very reasonable. I recommend it to everyone.

The woman who always welcomes me, Fabiana, is always very kind, clear, and professional. Whenever I come, I try the burgers, all truly excellent and satisfying. The options are varied and tasty. I highly recommend it.

05/01/2026: After a rainy day, I discovered the restaurant "Sui passi di Francesco" almost by chance, and it was a delightful surprise.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated, warm, and welcoming, and offers carefully prepared and sophisticated dishes.
We ate divinely: exquisite first courses and a truly excellent slice of meat, cooked to perfection.
Everything was made even more enjoyable by the kind and attentive service, with a friendly and welcoming waitress who immediately made you feel at home.
An unexpectedly pleasant experience, highly recommended.

08/08/2026: A lovely surprise in Bastia Umbra, a seafood restaurant...you go there and behold...everything is perfect, the food is excellent, cooked simply and tastefully, using top-quality ingredients. The location is small but charming, tastefully decorated, and there's plenty of outdoor seating. The owner was also very knowledgeable, offering advice and entertaining us with enjoyable conversations, but never intrusive. The staff is young but knowledgeable. Congratulations to everyone, and definitely recommended.
05/08/2026: A very beautiful place, excellent service, kind and friendly staff, and last but not least, top-quality fish cooked to perfection. Prices are absolutely fair considering the excellent ingredients and the portions are not small. Plus, the little touches are always appreciated, like the complimentary prosecco and the apple jelly at the end (which was delicious, by the way!). We definitely want to return; we had a wonderful time!
