04/04/2026: Everything was great, excellent coffee selection, pleasant service, perfect prices. (Approx. 7€ for a batch brew, double shots - cappuccino, water) I can definitely recommend it.

15/04/2026: Avoid the tasting menu, is overpriced. We had "the sea" menu and not a single one of the dishes tasted good, in fact they had no taste at all. For the price they cost, is terrible. Also avoid the pairing wine is just equally terrible. Cheap wines that were open for a while. Overall, just NOT worth the money. On top of that, we were seated in the worst table, and the lights are so dim that is hard to see. We saw some people using their phone's flashlights ro see the menu XD.

15/04/2026: This restaurant is a huge disappointment. The food is not ok, definitely overcharged. The hot plates are tepid and the taste is… there is not much taste. The risotto ball from the seafood menu has a very appealing “Volcano and Lava” look, but it has a very hard and firm exterior instead of crispy and crunchy. Not mentioning the spaghetti with no salt, and the ice-cream filled with ice pieces. What really makes me very uncomfortable is that: we were the first guests arrived that night WITH a reservation. However, a waitress seated us in the worst spot - very tight space between two doors, one leads to the kitchen and toilet, and the other one to another dinning room. This means, people (waiters and other guests) continuously and super closely passing us every 5 seconds through the whole dinner time, bringing the breeze and the tiny “earthquake“ (thanks to the loosen floor). What makes this worse: Another group (also 3 people) came right AFTER us, was seated by the window with a street view and with a romantically decorated leafy wall. The same waitress, during our first plate, came to the table and asked if she could already take the plates away… (Everyone’s plate was just half finished, we sent no signs of finishing with the cutlery…) It seemed that she really wanted us to finish quickly and kicked us out of there… Therefore, if you still want to try with this restaurant, I would recommend to walk-in directly and say no to this awfully located table and their seafood menu. We understand that Florence is extremely touristic, but this was literally the only bad dinning experience we had there.

20/03/2026: Whenever I can, I always love returning to this niche spot where you can find unusual dishes. Their pad thai and four-cheese pizza are delicious; the bowls, their desserts on display, and the smoothies are spectacular. Even though I'm neither vegan nor celiac, I recommend everyone to stop by! Really, congratulations! 💪

10/03/2026: Amazing ice cream! After trying the fondue ice cream, I almost jumped over the counter and kissed the guy who made my cone. I didn't because my girlfriend was next to me, but she'll be careless soon...

29/12/2025: Very friendly and kind staff, very good food and a quiet atmosphere where you can chat with people at the table without having to raise your voice, I recommend it to anyone passing through Florence or are in the area.

26/12/2025: Had Diavola, it was slightly bigger than most other places. The quality of dough was superb. Restaurant was busy as eh but it came troppo veloche ie fast within quicker the one might think. Cherry on top was mascarpone Pandoro special cake made at Xmas by mumma . It was best restaurant desert I've tried since 2 months in 4 cities . Props to family run and operated venues. This place is a Neighborgood gem . Fair prices too. A lot of flair.

03/04/2026: We visited many gelato places in Florence this visit (at least 7!) all based on reviews- and Il Procopio was hands-down the best. Particularly the Cremino which was 3 different chocolates with a shell on top of dark and white chocolate. It was the most amazing chocolate gelato/ice cream I’ve ever had. I’m sad that we only discovered it today on our last day here and they closed before we could go by again this evening and don’t open until tomorrow midday when we will already be gone so we can’t go a second time. It was THAT delicious. Much better than Perche No which was just mid/nothing special to us. Give the a try it was so so good if you are a chocolate lover especially!!

07/10/2025: We stopped by chance and discovered an excellent gelato. Truly superior quality. Very close to Ponte Vecchio, it's definitely worth a visit.

31/03/2026: Awesome gelato at an honest man’s store. We all enjoyed our gelato, including the pistachio, the biscotto, the peanut, and chocolate. The owner/worker accidentally overcharged me without me realizing the billing error. He then refunded the overcharge despite my lack of knowledge about the overcharge on my credit card. This type of honesty is rare and it impressed me greatly. On top of this business honesty, the gelato competes with the best I have ever had. Get the pistachio or the biscotto.
