27/12/2024: Seafood starter, so little that I don't remember, 2 tortelli, in short, gnocchi with good prawns, very small fried food, undercooked, desserts, never mind, undrinkable coffee. But above all one of the 3 waitresses, did not understand, incompetent,. For 60 euros, especially without wine!!! , real rip-off.

05/01/2025: Locale situato in una cornice naturalistica unica, molto sobrio ed ampio, cucina di sostanza con materie prime autoctone.Qualita indiscutibile e sapori ben distinguibili, dagli antipasti ai primi piatti ottima scelta di combinazioni , carni genuine e ben lavorate a chi piace la cinta senese trova diversi piatti molto buoni .Servizio impeccabile e molta cortesia, rapporto prezzo/qualita’ eccellente

04/01/2025: Abito in zona e Casetta Santini è sempre un punto di riferimento sia durante la buona stagione, nell’ampio giardino, sia nei mesi freddi riscaldati dal fuoco del camino . Piatti ottimi, personale gentile e servizio rapido. Prezzi assolutamente onesti. Consigliatissimo! Parola di maremmano.

31/03/2025: The gelato was passable, but the young man serving us tonight was, without a doubt, the most discourteous individual we encountered in all of Italy. His demeanor was cold and unwelcoming, making us feel like an inconvenience despite being the only customers in the store. To make matters worse, he spoke to us as if we were complete idiots, adding an extra layer of insult to an already unpleasant experience. The whole encounter was so off-putting that I was tempted to walk out—and in hindsight, I deeply regret that we didn’t. It was, without question, our worst experience in Italy, leaving us completely taken aback. Do yourself a favor and explore one of the countless other gelato shops in Florence to avoid such appalling treatment. Trust me, the gelato here is far from worth the unpleasantness.

12/04/2025: Excellent Neapolitan flavours. The prices are right. Courteous and helpful staff. The pizza is perhaps getting "poisoned". Still recommended.

04/04/2025: Genuinely the best food I’ve had in italy. We shared the seafood pasta, seafood pizza and mixed fried calamari and shrimp. The restaurant had a unique vintage feel, plus the staff were so kind and very accommodating to our lack of italian, they translated the menu.

28/02/2025: Dropped in for a quick espresso and to utilize their wifi. The drink arrived in half a second, the woman working the counter was friendly, and the bill was more than reasonable. Would definitely return.

01/12/2024: Abbiamo fatto un fine settimana a Lucca e a cena ci siamo recati in questo locale . La scelta è stata ottima abbiamo mangiato pesce e tutto più che buono . Il personale gentile e professionale . Quando torneremo a Lucca sicuramente sarà un punto di riferimento per la cena .

Locale accogliente, vicino al centro di Lucca, con un servizio impeccabile attento ai minimi dettagli (siamo stati accolti con un piacevole benvenuto di frittelle e bollicine). Prodotti freschi ed ottimi, pane e focaccia fatti direttamente da loro, porzioni abbondanti, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, carta dei vini molto ricca. È una tappa da fare se si visita Lucca.

11/12/2024: The location is very nice, it really feels like being inside a real caravel, there's even a rudder!! The portions are fair, but the cacciucco is really very filling and can be eaten well by two. Furthermore, with the cacciucco, they provide a paper bib to avoid getting dirty, which is much appreciated. Small flaw: the waitress doesn't know much about the wine list.

24/10/2024: Tornata a luglio con un'amica a rigustare la frittura apprezzata in passato, delusione per la qualità quantità e prezzo. Cambiata gestione forse, non saprei. Peccato, è ora di cambiare posto.
