01/05/2026: Honestly, I was very disappointed, as I often am when I visit a new place. I always try gelato, and I've been to quite a few gelato shops. But paying €4 for a large waffle and then getting a kid's gelato is unfair. I'm not questioning the quality, but in Turin, for €3, you can get gelato with the same waffle and triple the quantity. And, of course, I want to point out that the quality is excellent. I'll add an example.

30/03/2026: As a frequent traveller I rarely eat in a restaurant in a hotel but I am glad I made an exception for opera 23. We had the steak tartare and florentine steak and both were faultless. The florentine steak would be in the top 5 steaks I have ever enjoyed across various countries where beef is the pride and joy including Chile, Argentina and Australia. To top everything off the service was first class, personal and friendly, we felt like we were at home. Fantastic.

05/03/2026: The food is good, but I ordered garlic pasta and they served me tomato pasta, I didn’t taste garlic at all. It was good but I wanted to taste the garlic. The waiter is very very nice, kind and professional!

28/04/2026: I've been a customer for years now, and unfortunately, after yesterday's experience, I have to say 'never again.' I ordered a cake with fruit all over the edges, cream on the outside, and cream in the middle (which is the best cream in the world). In the end, I found myself with cream inside and out, completely disgusting, two pieces of fruit hidden, and the outside of the cake was something I would have said was made by some random pastry chef, but NEVER BY BURALLI'... truly disappointed!!!!

In this unique establishment in the center of Arezzo, you can both eat highly authentic dishes prepared with organic products and drink high-quality wine in a decidedly convivial atmosphere. At Lievito Madre, you can also purchase niche food products of truly exceptional quality. The owner, Mr. Paolo, is very kind and knowledgeable.

30/03/2026: I found myself having to deal with a difficult situation in the middle of the night, without warning. I would like to highlight the helpfulness, humanity, and extreme hospitality of the entire staff at this property, including the manager. It's not easy to find all this when you're far from home and a complete stranger. The room was spacious, very comfortable, pleasantly heated, and equipped with everything you need. The price was definitely reasonable. The lake opposite is very pretty, and the town itself, a stop on the Camino de San Jacopo, is also worth a visit. The train station, for those traveling without a car, is about a 20-minute walk away. The hospitality and humanity we encountered were priceless. Highly recommended

22/02/2026: My boyfriend and I booked this hotel through SmartBox to celebrate the first days of 2026. It's not very nice from the outside, but everything else was really great. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the service was impeccable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was extensive and really good. The carrot cake was my favorite! Overall, a very pleasant experience!

08/04/2026: In my opinion, this restaurant is excellent. It offers a variety of high-quality, traditional dishes. The house red wine was excellent, and the platters are varied and delicious. I also tried the pappardelle with wild boar sauce, which was very good and homemade. There's a lot of attention to detail, such as the free 130 Mbps Wi-Fi, which is convenient. They also have a digital menu via QR code. Very fast and friendly service.

10/05/2026: Beautiful setting, but the rest leaves much to be desired. Of course, when the waiter came to clear the table, he asked how it went. I answered, but perhaps because of the confusion, he didn't hear, even though we were close together. Look, I ordered the crostini: the one with burrata and anchovy in pesto sauce had no pesto at all; just looking at it, it looked like an anchovy just taken from a jar and put there, with a little transparent oil dripping from it. The one with the pâté left me quite indifferent, while the one with lard was so lukewarm that not even the slice of lard was warmed up. As for the pizza, it seemed a bit undercooked, since it was practically re-kneading the crust. We also ordered fries. I was expecting something more generous, not a half-full dessert bowl per portion. I wasn't expecting such a meal after entering such a refined place. We waited a bit both for our order to be taken and for the order to be shipped—basically an hour from when we sat down to when the first food arrived. But I think that was because we arrived in the middle of service, at 8:30.
