Organization during peak hours is essential.
The grill is excellent; the Chianina burger is recommended!
28/01/2026: Good food, fairly quick service, and friendly staff. The price is a bit high for a business lunch.
One thing that could be improved, since it's not the first time it's happened: sometimes the first courses are served on cold plates, and especially in winter, they get cold very quickly. This is unpleasant; it wouldn't take much to improve it.

26/12/2025: I had a great time. I had the gnocchi with a saffron sauce and the Chiusdino sausage. It was delicious. The atmosphere was calm and very friendly. I don't understand what people are complaining about. And the prices were fair. I'll be back for an aperitivo. 😉

A key ingredient for success.
Stefania is a winner and has a very capable manager.
What could be improved? The male staff lack empathy for the environment they work in: cold, never smiling, and lacking vivacity.
The baristas' attire needs attention.
The outside area is a bit cold, in my opinion.
I don't remember if it's there, but the door leading to the back of the lab should be closed.
I was distracted by Stefania's eyes and smile.

The owner of the place, Francesca, is stunning, has great manners and is a great pleasure to stay with her
The food is delicious, prices are really reasonable
Really nice here
And it's really worth drinking coffee, cheeses and salads, you can also go beyond that.

12/05/2026: We were concerned about stopping at the first restaurant entering Monticchielo. It appears small, but has very nice inside seating and beautiful outdoor view. What a great experience, from insight to wine selection to the food experience, we couldn't have had a better time. Thanks so much for what you do!

05/05/2026: We came here twice during our holiday in Florence; once we had a proper brunch and another time we just picked up some pastries. The food was very good, and the smoothies and matcha were great too!
04/05/2026: A very good experience, the prices are good in relation to the quality, everything is fresh and delicious. The coffee is brewed at the perfect temperature and they have a variety of plant-based milks.

26/04/2026: The pizzeria should update with lactose-free mozzarella. You can't tell customers: "If you bring it, we'll put it on." (I don't think anyone walks around with mozzarella in their pockets.) They're saved because the pizza was really good even without mozzarella.

25/03/2026: A true guarantee. I have a special bond with this place: my grandmother lived nearby and I came here often, so it's also full of memories.
Here, you can feel a taste deeply rooted in history, not only of the restaurant but also of Florence, with fascinating references like the "festina lente" that speak to a tradition of care and attention.
Among the specialties, it's impossible not to mention the Settimo Cielo or Ettore, and a truly exceptional pistachio cream, which alone is worth the visit.
The quality has remained consistently high over time, with carefully crafted dishes and authentic flavors. It's one of those places you'll want to return to because you already know you'll have a great time. Highly recommended!
