11/05/2025: Had lunch once last week and then had dinner a few evenings ago, I hadn't been back for quite a few years and I found it definitely improved... much nicer inside and above all the cuisine is really ok, with raw fish reigning supreme (we are lovers of it) but we also tried some of the first courses and they were very good, as were the mixed fried food, the desserts and the pizzas eaten by my children.

09/06/2025: We sat at a communal table, which didn't bother us. You get a menu and a pad on which you write your order yourself, take it to the cashier, pay, and then hand the slip to the kitchen. The food is then brought to you. The food really wasn't tasty. My companion's rice was cold, the spinach was lukewarm, and the shredded meat tasted worse than a ready-made meal. My lasagna was okay, but the sauce was watered down with flour and water, making it rather slimy. The bread that came with it tasted of nothing. Confirmation that we weren't just unlucky with our choice came when the couple next to us approached us to ask how our food was. Theirs was also partly cold and not good. The ambiance inside was nice, but not where we were sitting. The only positive point is that the food was brought quickly.

26/05/2025: Let's start by saying that to keep a business like this open in Florence, with a century-old and "tyrannical" culture of meat, it takes a huge heart and for this alone it deserves 5 stars. This evening at dinner we were welcomed with a smile and an uncommon kindness (especially in a city like Florence, accustomed to fast food and few pleasantries) the dishes are few but very inviting and change every day always guaranteeing great freshness of the proposals and attention to the seasonality of the ingredients. In addition to saying that the dishes we chose (and the desserts) were delicious, I was struck by the fact that even the drinks offered (lemonade, cola, etc.) were organic and not the usual big junk brands, another detail that raises the level and makes you understand the attention to the "mission" that this splendid place has. 🌱🧡 A very sweet experience that we hope to repeat soon, we will certainly do our best to help promote and preserve a precious place like this. 21/04/2025: We spent a few wonderful days at the Locanda di Santantimo in September 2024 and it couldn't have been better. Maria and her husband are hosts with heart and soul - warm-hearted, attentive and simply incredibly personable. You immediately notice: There is a lot of love and passion here. Our room was cozy, tastefully decorated and clean. Breakfast was a real highlight - lovingly prepared every morning, with lots of homemade and regional delicacies. We loved starting the day so pampered. This accommodation is a little insider tip - quietly located, with a beautiful view of nature, and yet close enough to explore the surrounding area. We felt completely at home and will definitely come back.

14/06/2025: The pastries and also the savory ones are super, as well as there being a lot of variety and the service is more than sufficient! Tables outside. The prices are medium-high....The pastry shop, in addition to being excellent, boasts decorations of desserts and pastries of a high artistic level!

19/05/2025: Great food, and dogs are "tolerated." Unfortunately, the service was completely uninspired. Despite the restaurant being empty, we waited 20 minutes to order a coffee.

28/05/2025: Terrible experience and I'm really sorry because the food was very good. I was served by a waiter with out of this world manners, who among other things, for example, slammed the bottle of wine on the table when he brought it, in addition to treating me with condescension throughout the evening. When it was time to pay the bill, the owner asked me if everything had gone well and I pointed out that the dinner, which was of quality, had been totally ruined by the service and for this reason I would never return. She said "I'm sorry" and asked me to pay the total of the bill. See you never again...

05/05/2025: I thought this might be authentic given a high rating but actually it’s disappointing. 红油拍手 tastes like someone accidentally split the vinegar. Someone knocked over the vinegar bottle. chicken appetizer was weird also. The chicken appetizer was stale and tasted weird. the best was the stir fry bok choy.🥬

01/04/2025: Enjoyed having our morning sweet treats and coffee fix here. Great friendly service, quality pastries and lovely coffee. Inside and outside dining options that were cosy and clean.

08/03/2025: Saw this cute little cafe this morning, had a cappuccino and croissants. The crème croissants were still warm, super good. It was filled with elderly local people, so you know it must be good :)

14/06/2025: My partner, our two dogs and I went to celebrate our birthday because it was close to a tracking route. We booked for lunch. We were welcomed very well and they placed us at a table with enough to be comfortable with our dogs. They brought a bowl with water. The environment was serene and comfortable, pleasant background music and air conditioning at the right temperature, very kind staff. We ordered two mixed appetizers, the ingredients were fresh and genuine (the mushrooms had just been picked because they showed them to us whole). I had the tortelli, truffle and pistachio (you could throw them on the floor because they were so good, they grated the truffle at the table, crazy. My partner instead had the wild boar (it melted in your mouth, very tasty) and polenta. Finally for dessert we had the panna cotta, also homemade. The bill was less than we expected. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

13/05/2025: I have never eaten such a good pizza, I stopped for a snack and the options at the counter are interesting. Cherry tomatoes, pesto and ricotta are delicious 😋 Of ancient grains and I have never found pizzerias that use fresh sourdough. I read the other reviews and I would like to say you don't throw away food... Instead I recommend this pizzeria

10/05/2025: I'm from Livorno and so I'm particularly fond of chickpea pie but in this Pisan pizzeria they make the pie really good. I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised, I recommend this pizzeria to everyone

25/05/2025: Great traditional Tuscan food, with the master touch from Chef Picchi who created this Trattoria. Very unique dishes from Firenze culinary tradition, improved by a great touch of creativity/ but just enough to preserve the original recipes. Great staff, all waiters speak great English… you will greatly enjoy. I am a chef myself and I was born in Firenze, you can trust 100% my comments!

18/05/2025: We were here in 4, motorcyclists from various parts of Italy on a quiet evening, even though it was 9.30 pm and many restaurants did not let us eat here we not only fed ourselves but had fun and learned about culture, the owner is one of the few restaurateurs who still today embraces classic catering where at the table you enjoy flavors and sharing. There are fewer and fewer places like this, thanks again for the splendid evening. Regarding the food, impeccable, the superb wine recommended with great experience. A great surprise also the bill, more than honest.

30/04/2025: Sono stata in questo posto con mio figlio per fargli provare un'esperienza di degustazione. Il locale è molto bello, con teiere in esposizione e una bellissima vetrina di dolci, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, subito dopo Ponte Vecchio, e la nostra permanenza è stata piacevole, così come il servizio, discreto ed educato. Se dovessi fare un appunto, dato che i prezzi non sono proprio economici ( stiamo pur sempre parlando di tè e infusi!) prevederei porzioni più abbondanti per dolci e salati di accompagnamento.
