23/08/2024: I went to PizzAntica this evening with my husband and daughter: walking during the week through the characteristic town of San Miniato, I was immediately pleasantly fascinated by the aesthetics of the place and I promised myself that one evening we would stop for a pizza. And it was also a confirmation for the pizza: they also satisfied the request of my daughter who is sensitive to gluten with a buckwheat and corn dough. Many types of flours and doughs to choose from, and truly exceptional pizza toppings. Further plus: they serve it to you on a wooden cutting board already cut into wedges! Young, helpful and courteous staff. Internal room with panoramic window or (for summer) external tables. Take-away too! Well done guys! 10+ for the effort, for the pizzas and for the place! Keep it up 🫶🏻

07/07/2024: Prodotti davvero ottimi e personale gentilissimo. Abbiamo preso la schiacciata con il prosciutto crudo ed era la fine del mondo, davvero molto buona. In più abbiamo preso anche la pizza rossa e, anche quella, merita di essere assaggiata. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di conoscere Michela che è una bravissima persona. Sicuramente ci torneremo e lo consiglio vivamente!

26/05/2024: Partiamo dal presupposto che è una pizzeria quindi la scelta aperitivi è giustamente ridotta , quindi prosecco o spritz grandi classici , accompagnati dalla loro pizza buonissima , il tutto ad un prezzo IMBATTIBILE. Super consigliato

01/09/2024: We took a fried puffin, I must say not bad, very fresh product. But we are short on pizzas, we took a Mammá with provola but it arrived with a burrata on top and the other was a Provolí with fried courgettes, but the courgettes were dipped in batter and fried, in short the same as the fried purcinella. The environment is really beautiful with attention to the smallest details, the staff is courteous, helpful and professional. In my opinion the pizza dough lacked a bit of salt. But. No tastes

03/08/2024: Restaurant at the entrance to the historic center of Monticchiello. The free parking lot at the entrance to the town is small and usually full, so you have to park in the lower area and go up a steep hill because the entire town is ZTL. Spectacular views from the terrace, where they kindly provided us with a table for our large group. The service is very top. Regarding the food, there is nothing that was particularly bad, but nothing was particularly good either. In our case, there has not been a good quality-price ratio, I suppose it is more a place for tapas and drinks than for eating with the family. If this is your case, look for other options.

27/08/2024: I went a few years later for my sister-in-law's birthday party. The place is nice with a terrace overlooking the sea, excellent air on summer evenings. Mainly I believe that the place was created for an aperitif or aperitif in case of special parties. On the terrace there is musical entertainment, perfect for after dinner but intrusive during dinner, music too loud, you can't understand anything when you talk to the person next to you. Mainly we ate a classic platter with some cold cuts, of which the raw one was not particularly appreciated by some diners, it had a strange taste and smell, accompanied by some bruschetta, olives, mozzarella, cheese and hot focaccia. Good fried pasta, with grilled sausage and chips. The two first courses, half sleeves with ragù, paccheri with fish sauce, inedible, practically raw, put on and take off immediately. A note also on the ragù, it had a slightly acidic flavour. The sore point were the bathrooms. If you don't want to catch illnesses, avoid going, something beyond all logic, it felt like walking on a floor of urine, not to mention the rest. My husband had to use paper just to touch the handle. People suck and we know this, but there should be greater attention from the venue. From midnight the place fills up, chaotic and long queues at the checkout. Nice for a quick drink, for me to stay in short. Friendly and helpful staff and owner.

27/08/2024: Good and plentiful dishes, fair price. Location in a strategic area, practically a stone's throw from the beach (the TOP! dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea). However, in my opinion, the service needs to be reviewed, with delays and oversights

09/04/2024: Pastry shop not large but pleasant. Good products made with excellent ingredients. Quick service and a pleasant room where you can sit and relax. Bathroom tidy Recommended place I ate an excellent croissant with jam and enjoyed a well-made coffee

17/03/2024: The pastry shop is phenomenal! The babas have nothing to envy of those you find in Naples, and neither do the Sfogliatelle. The fruit tarts are phenomenal, including the base. Excellent sea urchins, tiramisu, cream puffs... what can I say? Worth trying, the assortment is vast for both pasta and mignon. Daniela and all the staff always have a kind word or joke for everyone.

22/08/2024: I confirm the 5 stars given last year. Excellent dishes and well served. Very friendly staff and very customer focused. Adequate waiting time. If you want to have breakfast the cappuccino is good and the brioches good and fresh or you can enjoy a crepes.

21/08/2024: Of all the local bars and restaurants, this is the best one where I've been. The food is delicious and the staff well.....too strong 👍👍👍. So don't hesitate, pop in and you won't regret it.

25/08/2024: Very good food, very nice service, he told a story about how each dish and the ingredients were made and the origin of the ingredients. Very good dessert and a great local tip because you have to go out to eat.

02/08/2024: Pastry bar with pleasant interiors, wonderful staff, special desserts, also vegan or made for those with lactose intolerance problems, usually quiet and relaxing with the possibility of eating outdoors too. Advised!

30/07/2024: Trofie with pesto inedible due to the amount of salt. On the second try they were the same. Let them. I ate the bread and drank the water. €11. They told me that other customers liked them. It must have been my problem.
