10/01/2025: Se encontró con este restaurante cerca de la cabina telefónica roja y la bandera escocesa en la entrada de la ciudad, sobre todo porque ningún otro lugar estaba abierto hoy. Mi plato de risotto de mariscos era fabuloso, el servicio era relajado y amable y un ambiente encantador. Muy recomendable.

03/06/2025: I stayed here for 7 days in May for a conference and overall had a good experience. Our room had a great view of the mountains and the bed was very comfortable, although everything in the hotel seemed a bit dated. They cleaned the room each day and we did room service twice and it was prompt and tasty. My husband ate at the restaurant for all meals (really the only food options are the ones on property) and said it was good. The views are amazing! It is very secluded - to get to Lucca it is 100 euro taxi (one way) and to get to Barga it is a 40 euro taxi. We just enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and then did a bit of walking around the hotel which is very nice but up a giant hill. We also walked to a nice winery that was about a mile away in a small town. The service was excellent at the bar and the front desk- they helped us call taxis when we needed them. Our biggest downside was our shower was either burning hot or freezing cold and the water was basically a trickle.

25/05/2025: Our stay at the Renaissance was, for the most part, excellent! Honestly what made a huge difference in our stay, was the Navigator Concierge Manuel, he is awesome, and deserves a raise. Manuel if you're reading this, great job, we'll miss you!! He organized taxis for us, moved existing reservations, and made us feel extremely welcomed. The only negative things we experienced were, the spa and food, we were not prepared for the massage we received, it was way too intimate, and even after my wife and I told the masseuse that we were uncomfortable, they continued to touch us in very intimate places. So prepare yourself if you're not familiar with this style of massage. The food, was shockingly Americanized, and I was surprised that it wasn't higher quality, especially with the town of Barga close by, where we had amazing meals, at restaurants suggested by Manuel. Otherwise, the room, location, and service was exceptional.

27/05/2025: Beautiful location, excellent menu: many different options (meat, fish, pizza, vegetarian dishes). The tuna tataki is divine. The only flaw: the service was too slow, we waited 40 minutes with the place almost empty. In any case, I recommend it!

06/04/2025: Guest for a weekend in Livorno... while loitering I found this pastry shop and tasted a pastry with still warm cream... it delighted my eyes and taste buds...😋 Cost? negligible compared to the quality...💪

29/03/2025: Now I go there often because it has become not only my favorite pizzeria but also the place where I find many other nice and loyal customers with whom I can spend a few happy hours, between a good meal and excellent foreign beers that can't be found anywhere else in the city. The pizzas are all very good - the chef Sandro is really good - and that means there are always lots of tasty new things to try. There's no shortage of imagination! Sara - the girl who works at the counter and also acts as manager and waitress, is nice, friendly, very good both in explaining the pizzas and menus and in knowing how to pair each dish with the right beer or drink Yes, the beers! Eh: Belgian, French, German... not something you find around the corner every day, eh! Truly a selection and an offer that is difficult to find in other places in Prato. There is everything: from light to double malt, from dark to fruitier ones and the prices are absolutely and without a shadow of a doubt the cheapest of all the (few) places that sell these imported beers throughout the city. And in short, you eat well, you drink well, you feel good in company - and now that the good weather is starting, there are also tables outside, the managers are friendly and fun and professional.... and what more could you want? Ah, yes! The prices are really honest and affordable for everyone!

04/05/2025: First ice cream of the season two evenings ago, confident in the quality because we have been customers for many years. Unfortunately the ice cream was not the same as always, little flavor and "frozen" in the kiss, crunchy and trifle flavors.

20/05/2025: Il locale ci è stato consigliato da amici e dobbiamo confermare che avevano ragione! Ottima accoglienza, servizio espresso, piatti della tradizione livornese dal sapore unico , eccezionali! Il miglior cacciucco mai mangiato in vita nostra! Ottima la frittura , i dolci , i vini insomma da tornarci sicuramente!! Comodamente raggiungibile dal porto (varco fortezza) dove avevamo parcheggiato e fatto due passi per la città. Grazie a tutto lo staff! Alla prossima

I leave home at 6.50, train and off I go, I arrive at 7.40 and I am 63rd in line (a gentleman contacted us 3 times), opening at 9 and delivery of the passes (bracelets) with a number written on them. They say that for the 1st step there are only 75 passes, I'll go back!! but when it's my turn they're already sold out 🤔 (I'm 15 and I'm ashamed to do myself justice), I'm the 6th excluded so I have to settle for the signing session. I feel bad😩, I get angry😡, I repress it thinking that the important thing will be to meet him. I enter school in 3rd period, I go out, I eat a sandwich on the fly and at 2pm I get back in line outside the library for the 6pm talk. At 4pm everyone stands, otherwise "we'll take up too much space" says one of the security guards. Finally I go in and enjoy the chat. They say NOW EVERYONE OUT AND WHO HAS A PASS FOR THE FIRMADILLO GET IN LINE FOR THE TIME GROUPS WRITTEN ON THE BRACELET. I go out, convinced that I will return almost immediately since I am number 6 in the first group, and here is another injustice, the line (60 people per hour) has already formed while the talk was taking place, I am second to last... My mother has joined me, worried about the time of returning to the train, she argues with the 2 security "gorillas" who do not enforce the order of the numbers assigned in the morning, the response of one of them is I DON'T CARE AT ALL ABOUT THE NUMBER. I am back inside to meet him, finally, even if I am the last one in the third time I have been in line since this morning. I look at the time and if everything goes well we will be able to take the 9.14 train and return home by 10pm... the director of the bookstore arrives and takes me by the hand and makes me climb among the first, perhaps she has understood that something has gone wrong? I thank her, but this is just not right, 3 times in line despite the numbered bracelet. What should be security, of indecent rudeness. I arrive home at 9 pm, very tired but still happy. Because to get justice you have to raise your voice, why?
