25/07/2024: Place in the center of Vicopisano, unfortunately it is right on the road that crosses the town, space for tables created outside in front of the entrance, very nice and helpful factotum girl, as far as the food is concerned the Cecina was very good, the fried food in short, the pizza good but very thin, overall good.

09/08/2024: Characteristic location, small but well organised. Good food, higher quality than most restaurants in that area, but nothing particularly exciting. I greatly appreciated the professionalism of the person who goes around the tables and prepares the accounts. Too bad about the lack of air conditioning, it was very hot inside.

20/07/2024: We had a really good dinner. Fairly well-kept location overlooking the valley. Classic Tuscan dishes revisited and well presented. The meat is worth mentioning positively. We had agreed on a single menu for the whole table: Tuscan starter, duck and orange ravioli, pici with wild boar, mixed grill (phenomenal duck), dessert of your choice. Correct quantity served: if necessary, the waiters came by again and again asking if we wanted anything else. Fast service even though there were almost twenty of us.

24/06/2024: If you want to take takeaway pizzas, have patience and order! Infinite waiting times, there's no point in booking the pizzas in advance, you'll still have to wait an infinite amount of time. Last time 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting, today the lady (I want to say that she is always kind) told me "sorry we're a little late, 15 minutes and it's ready"....after 45 minutes they still had to wait be baked. Next time I'll look for another pizzeria. I want to add that you will see people passing you by even though we booked the pizza after you! However, for those who like fine pizza, it is really good, and the prices are more than fair.

07/08/2024: Uno dei migliori gelati della città, servito sempre col sorriso. Un posto come questo nel quartiere fa la differenza. Le mie nipoti ci sono cresciute con il loro gelato ed é sempre un bel momento andarne a prendere uno insieme.

14/08/2024: In this pleasant restaurant, on the main road to Casciana Terme and Lari, the pizza is well prepared and dressed and the staff is friendly and quick. They also have a good beer selection, both bottled and draft. The outdoor tables are mostly enjoyable at dinner time, as they're in the shade of the building while the indoor area is likely fitted with an air conditioning system. The access to the toiles is easy also for people with limited mobility (even with a wheelchair). Closed on Monday.

28/07/2024: We went to the 'Segno' restaurant in the hotel as the rooftop bar was closed due to storms. Due to this storm and the failure of our GPS, we arrived at the restaurant way too late for our reservation. Nevertheless, there was full service that was friendly and accommodating, a great menu with nice wine accompaniment - and we were able to take a breather and enjoy this wonderful ambience. A nice evening!

23/07/2024: Fabulous location, you can touch Florence with a finger, young, courteous but informal service. Good cocktails and food, perhaps slightly larger portions wouldn't hurt given the prices. Recommended for a special aperitif.

04/09/2024: Nice little cafe/restaurant that seems very popular with the locals. Went there a little before 8am on a Wednesday to have a breakfast. Prices were very good (but that's coming from a traveler and not a local). Got a sandwich and an Americano, which were both great. The sandwich was very delicious. They also had a variety of pastries, croissants, etc. There was a rush of people that came in starting around 8am. Decent amount of seating inside. The employees were very friendly and the service was fast. Definitely worth checking out if staying in the area. (Note: I walked about 20 min from where I was staying to get here and the walk was very easy.)

23/08/2024: Some time ago I had already bought one of my grandmother's cakes where the cream was practically raw flour thrown away as soon as I tasted it... today is my son's birthday who is crazy about lemon meringue cake, confident I'll try again... and this one hasn't been thrown away either. ..the cream was simply a pastry with a lemon squeezed inside....if I were you I would go and review the recipe for a moment..among other things, disgusting is to say the least
