03/06/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant last weekend and we were very dissatisfied. We ordered a risotto that was raw and a pasta with clams that looked like pasta with garlic, oil and chili pepper with some clams, it was not well creamed and did not taste of fish at all. The house wine was terrible. Moving on to the dessert with cream and melon, it was not possible to eat it because the pastry was very hard. We pointed this out to the waiter who instead of offering us another dessert took care of portioning the slice of cake and offering it to us again, now blended. The bill was the icing on the cake, they had told us that they would not charge us for the dessert, but the cost of the bread was €5.00. I have never paid so much for bread at a restaurant, not even a starred one. It means that in reality they wanted to recover the price of the dessert by disguising it under another heading. We basically spent €50 for two inedible pasta dishes. I then noticed that two other tables were also not happy with their dishes. I don't understand how a place like this can be so highly rated, this fact makes me think. I often go to Capalbio, but I assure you that I will never go to this restaurant again. Avoid like the plague.

03/05/2025: We had lunch here on the advice of some artisans from Castagneto. Our expectations were not disappointed. The food is really great and the menu is based on typical dishes from the area! The staff is very kind and very hospitable. The place is small but they are also equipped with seats for children and games to entertain them with. We had a really good time

03/05/2025: Lunch with friends during the week. No reservation but we arrived very early, around noon. Quiet, small (3/4 tables inside, a couple outside) but welcoming. Friendly and helpful staff. Short waiting time for dishes. Typical dishes. Honest prices. At the beginning, separately, they also brought us some seasoned bruschetta.

20/05/2025: Positive experience in an atmosphere of other times! Vintage environment furnished in a very picturesque way, with vintage cars located inside the restaurant, set as tables and where you can also eat inside if you want. A place that takes you back in time and you leave refreshed and satisfied. The kindness and professionalism of the waiter who served us are unique! As for dishes, I recommend the diced grilled polenta with lard and cream of pecorino cheese and the pici all'aglione. The place is also very suitable for families, with a large and safe outdoor area, where there is also an area with slides and games for children. Furthermore, the restaurant is close to the Chiusi motorway exit on the A1, so I also recommend it as an excellent alternative to a meal in a service area.

18/05/2025: Coming off the highway we found this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise!! Inside there is the possibility of having lunch in a car, we had lunch on board a yellow 500! Very nice experience. In addition to this, very good food and very kind staff!

28/05/2025: Delicious, inexpensive restaurant! We ate here twice and were very satisfied! The portions were perfectly adequate (I'm a glutton) and beautifully presented. The dishes tasted great! Lovely ambiance and excellent service. The only thing I personally didn't like was the accompanying bread, as it had a very bland, unflavored taste, and no olive oil or salt/pepper was provided (maybe I should have just asked). All in all, it's worth a visit, especially for the good price!

23/05/2025: Peccato.... bella location, muratura in pietra e mattoni a faccia vista, pavimento in legno (forse luci troppo fredde ma son gusti), il servizio buono informale come si addice a un'osteria, mi è piaciuta l'apparecchiatura con tovaglia in stoffa (odio le posate appoggiate a un legnetto o un sassetto senza tovagliame), i dubbi arrivano sul menu: antipasto "il toscanino", alcune fette di prosciutto toscano, quindi salato, non male, un crostino con pomodoro fresco e un crostino con fegatino, ora.... cavolo siamo in Toscana, in un tagliere metti una fetta di salame toscano!!, una fetta di finocchiona!!, una fetta di soppressata, una fetta di pancetta, un pezzetto di pecorino, cavolo un pò di varietà! insomma tagliere "smunto" parecchio parecchio... parecchio (prezzo 12 euro), il trittico di tartare, buono e buona qualità della carne. i primi: caserecce guanciale e asparagi, ok il guanciale è salato di suo ma l'insieme era veramente sapido!! la pasta, capisco a chi piace al dente, ma sei in un ristorante.. scotta fa schifo... ma nemmeno cruda!... idem per i tortelli con ragù, salati e decisamente al dente.. il vino della casa buono.. spesa nella media dovrebbero migliorare un pò in cucina... ci vuole poco..

25/04/2025: It's a classic pizzeria. The inside is small but outside they have a very rustic veranda. The pizzas are really good but above all LIGHT!! I would have eaten two. The wine is good for being the house wine. I'll be back!
