24/08/2025: The pizza was authentic Neapolitan style – soft and airy on the crust, thin and flavorful in the center. The local white wine, paired with sparkling water, was an unexpected but delightful discovery. From the outside, the place may look a bit outdated, but once you step inside it feels like being transported straight into an Italian movie.

24/08/2025: I can assure you, the real Neapolitan pizza is as good as it gets. The food is also amazing; everything is truly delicious. The staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. I forgot, the service was also incredibly fast.

23/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso per una cena al volo. Abbiamo preso 2 spaghetti (spaghetti cacio e pepe e spaghetti del Cantuccio), una patatina fritta media, una birra media e un’acqua. Porzioni abbonanti , cottura perfetta, personale gentile, speso €25,50. Passando da Marradi ci torneremo senz’altro per provare la pizza.

26/05/2025: In occasione della ultramaratona il Passatore,alla quale partecipava mio figlio,in attesa del passaggio della corsa ci siamo fermati a Marradi e per cena ci siamo fermati in questa pizzeria. Abbiamo mangiato un ottima carbonara,ma veramente buona,e un tagliere di formaggi.Ambiente pulito,locale accogliente,personale molto gentile.

18/09/2025: The location is fantastic, with a spectacular view, the food is delicious and every little detail is taken care of, as is everything else. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about everything. It was a wonderful experience discovering new flavors.

13/09/2025: One of the best locations in Tuscany and certainly the best vegan restaurant in Tuscany. We'll definitely be back. It's an experience not to be missed, with excellent service and attention to every detail.

05/10/2025: I went to Osteria Candalla with a couple of friends, honestly one of the most unique places I saw in Tuscany. Right next to the river, trees everywhere, almost like you walk in some secret garden, not easy to find but that makes it special I guess. The food was good, I had pasta with wild boar sauce, strong taste but not too much, delicate somehow, hard to explain, my friend had grilled meat and it was really juicy. The waiter came with a wine suggestion, local one, and it was actually perfect with the pasta, even if I don’t usually notice this stuff. Prices not cheap, but ok, because you are not only eating, you are in this crazy natural spot.

05/10/2025: A place where time stands still. On both sides of a stream and small ponds in the woods... this is the osteria in Candalla. A beautiful location. The owners and staff are all very kind and professional. The menu is original, yet traditional. Prices are accordingly, but it's worth it.

02/10/2025: Very (VERY) poor customer service. The worst I've had in Italy. The 4,4 rating in Google is WAY overrated. there are a lot of ratings describing exactly the experience I've had with the rude waitress and unwelcoming place. The weird thing is that they where hosting a birthday party for some VERY loud italiano guests and they seemed to be having a good service... I'm really sorry if we entered through the wrong door but that is no excuse for the way you treated us. Just go a feel ratings down and you'll even see a rating where the restaurant replied in a rude way

26/09/2025: We lived in Florence for 5 weeks and this is the best meal I had. It’s different than the other restraints which is hard to find. Feels like modern Italian. Everything is extremely fresh as it’s all farm to table. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Great service and a cool space.

05/09/2025: I stopped in Lucignano, a village well worth a visit, and stumbled upon this historic osteria. The atmosphere is welcoming, authentic, and even when it's crowded, there's no chaos that can get overwhelming. The food is home-cooked, good, and honest. I appreciated watching the neighbors, who, in addition to the meats, prepared properly, also make a light pizza. The waiters are polite and cheerful. The best thing is that the food is good and the price is right, a quality/price ratio that's hard to find these days. A sincere place, worth considering.

12/10/2025: Well... Nice atmosphere. The ravioli are colorful and handmade, but honestly, they don't taste like much. Then I had a soup, which was a fake ramen that had little to do with China. That was also a bit bland... Then we had fried rice; my daughter asked for chicken. The rice came with chicken that tasted like baking soda, disgusting. Fried rice should be made with chopped roast chicken or stir-fry chicken, but not something that tastes like baking soda. Disgusting. At least it helped me digest.

12/10/2025: I lived in HKG/China for 30 years and often have problems with the taste adjustment in European countries, Ravioli Wang was perfect and authentic for us!

06/10/2025: The pizza was delicious! Perfect pizza base and generous toppings with delicious ingredients. Very friendly staff who want to give you a great experience. I would definitely come back!

28/08/2025: We stopped at this place before leaving for Sardinia. We discovered it by chance. It's very easy to get to from the SS. Good food, very good service. Nice location. It's a shame about the lemon sorbet...not good. We ordered two cacciucchi, which were good. Good value.

02/08/2025: We ate here two years ago for dinner and had a great time...it was the same this time, both for the light-crust pizzas and for my gnocchi with sea bream sauce, cherry tomatoes, and parmesan flakes.

18/10/2025: I live in the same building as the pastry shop, so I've been there several times, both for breakfast and for desserts and small pastries to go, and I've never been disappointed! They also have vegan and sugar-free croissants. If I really had to find something lacking, I'd like more options for those of us who are lactose intolerant!
