27/07/2024: I recently stayed at Hotel Solemar in Leni with my family and my experience was very positive. The hotel is located in a lovely location, with a panoramic sea view that is simply breathtaking from every corner of the property. The property is very clean and tidy, with spacious rooms equipped with all the comforts necessary for a relaxing stay. Mr. Michele, together with all the staff, was extremely courteous, kind and helpful, always ready to assist us with a smile. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The homemade desserts are particularly delicious, such as the muffins with chocolate chips, the tart with jam, the apple pie and the donut, which are still warm when you go for breakfast. Mr Michele proved to be very good at advising where to go, what to visit and what to eat, further enriching our experience on the island. We also had the opportunity to enjoy an excellent dinner in the hotel, with a panoramic view in the sunset lights. The appetizers and Aeolian paccheri are absolutely worth trying. In conclusion, I highly recommend Hotel Solemar to anyone looking for a quiet and welcoming place to stay in Leni. The combination of excellent service, a spectacular location and a well-maintained facility makes this hotel an ideal choice.

From the moment of our arrival, we were welcomed with great kindness and professionalism by the owner and staff, always ready to satisfy our every need with a smile. The rooms are comfortable and with attention to the smallest details, guaranteeing a relaxing and pleasant stay. The hotel's location is ideal, allowing you to easily explore the area's main attractions. Every morning we woke up to a fantastic breakfast, full of fresh and delicious food, which gave us the right energy to face the day. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for warm hospitality and a welcoming environment.

06/08/2024: "L'apocaliss" pizza restaurant, is a certainty that never disappoints you! Whatever dish you try, you won't go wrong... Well cooked and plated dishes with attention and class. I absolutely recommend tasting the meat, as there is a vast choice of fine cuts, mostly served at the table with a stone of salt with a flame underneath. In addition to food, there are very particular and enveloping wines to accompany. Cozy and well organized place. The staff is friendly, attentive and very professional.

10/08/2024: Given that I only ate the focaccia and my opinion goes only to that, I was not satisfied, for me the Messinese focaccia is something completely different.

23/07/2024: L' endroit à ne pas rater si vous venez à Salina et que vous voulez vous offrir un coucher de soleil mémorable. Cuisine simple, mais on est là pour le spot. Musique lounge, vue d enfer, déco très agréable, belle carte de cocktails et personnel très sympa. Envie de revenir et de partager ce bon plan. Psst, le guide du routard ne s'est pas trompé

02/09/2024: una location incantevole, panorama a 180°, a 3 min di navetta (mandata dal ristorante al nostro albergo). Cucina tipica, semplice e con tanto pesce, senza fronzoli gourmet e microporzioni.

04/08/2024: Pizza as hard as a jar; service friendly as a rattlesnake; atmosphere like "2001: A Space Odyssey"...interminable wait ! Pizza aussi dure qu'une jarre ; service aussi aimable qu'une porte de prison ; atmosphère comme "2001, l'Odyssée de l'espace"...attente interminable! Pizza dura come una giara; servizio simpatico come un agente delle tasse; atmosfera da "2001 Odissea nello spazio"...attesa interminabile!

07/08/2024: Dilapidated place, poor quality food, dry pizza like the frozen ones, cooked and then reheated, spaghetti with cheese and pepper like eating plastic thread and bitter condiment, perhaps given by the slightly moldy cheese, tortelli with reheated ragù and not of the day, apart from this, the cockroaches that walk under the tables in the garden, I was touched by the cat that was constantly chased away even though it was theirs, never again!!
