26/03/2025: Literally a tourist trap. No menu, we don't know what we're eating (because the "chef" doesn't speak English). In the end 150 euros for 4, with shrimp as a starter and a pasta dish with tomato sauce. Not to mention the fact that the “chef” served us an already opened bottle of wine without asking our opinion AND he served a glass (still without asking our opinion) before taking it dry and heading back to the kitchen. Absolutely lunar. In short, avoid like the plague!

20/03/2025: Fuimos por recomendación de nuestro casero, entendemos que la baja disponibilidad de un restaurante en temporada baja en Stromboli, podía tener un sobreprecio. Pero compartimos una cerveza, un plato de gambas a la plancha que estuvo rico 6/10. (24 euros) Luego pescado local, sólo a la plancha, una lechuga de ensalada sin más que si aderezo (44 euros) Sin postre, sin vino. Pagamos unos desproporcionados 80 euros. Vimos como a italianos cobraba por más platos con vino menos dinero. Es muy decepcionante sentir que te engañan. We went on the recommendation of our host; we understand that the low availability of a restaurant during the low season in Stromboli could lead to a premium price. But we shared a beer (yes just 1) and a plate of grilled shrimp, which was correct not great (24 euros). Then we had local fish, grilled only (not a premium fish) and a lettuce salad with nothing more than the dressing (44 euros). No dessert, no wine. We paid an unreasonable 80 euros. We saw how Italians were charged less, for more dishes with wine. It's very disappointing to feel cheated.

02/05/2025: I find myself forced to make a note on this place that I know very well and which has always served good and excellent things... Yesterday, May 1st, we entered the restaurant asking for the possibility of occupying a table for 10 people, empty and left dirty by previous customers: we were welcomed by a waitress who was anything but kind, who informed us that we could sit but that "the table needs to be cleaned, I don't know when it will be done"... When it is finally cleaned, we sit down and order ours ice creams and our granitas: as mentioned, it was May 1st, so we counted on having to wait; after 3 quarters of an hour of waiting we noticed not only that nothing had arrived yet, but that customers who arrived after us had consumed and had already left: then, kindly, we asked the usual waitress if there was still a long wait, and her answer left us speechless: "There's a lot of confusion today, if you want to wait, fine, otherwise you can leave!"... But is this the way to interface with customers? Luckily, a boy with a foreign accent came to our aid and managed to serve us, for a total of one hour of waiting... I repeat that I very well understand the long wait dictated by the day of celebration, but rudeness is not tolerable: people like this person make a place lose credibility which has never been second to anyone in terms of courtesy and kindness

04/05/2025: Stunning place surrounded by nature... Comfortable and clean rooms... Stunning view... Staff very kind and attentive to every need... The only advice is to propose a menu more suitable for a farmhouse, both for dinner and for breakfast... For the rest, friendliness reigns supreme 🙃

12/04/2025: Se vai in un locale come La Muciara ti aspetti non solo di mangiare bene ma anche di ricevere un servizio eccellente, visti l’eleganza del posto e il livello dei prezzi sopra la media: sulla qualità del cibo nulla da dire, ma del servizio siamo rimasti notevolmente delusi. Innanzi tutto in una tavola di 8 persone ci sono stati consegnati 2 soli menu più la carta dei vini: alla richiesta di averne altri per tutti i commensali, nessun riscontro! Fino a quando si presenta la persona addetta a prendere le ordinazioni a cui facciamo presente che alcuni non hanno ancora avuto modo di visionare i piatti… soltanto allora arriva al tavolo qualche menu in più! L’evasione dell’ordine è stato un altro parto difficile: gli antipasti sono arrivati in tempi abbastanza rapidi, ma l’attesa per le pizze è stata veramente estenuante, solo in parte ripagata dalla buona qualità dell’impasto e delle materie prime. Per quanto buona la pizza, è inaccettabile cenare alla vigilia di mezzanotte dopo essersi seduti alle 21:15! Dulcis in fundo, il pagamento: presentatici alla cassa per pagare ciascuno la propria quota, la persona addetta alla cassa pensa bene, nel fare il calcolo, di arrotondare l’importo pro-capite… PER ECCESSO! Arrotondamento che non aveva alcuna utilità, visto che i pagamenti sono stati effettuati con carta. Si è trattato di poche decine di centesimi a testa, ma è soprattutto nei dettagli che si vede lo stile di un ristorante e l'attenzione per il cliente. In conclusione, quanto di buono realizzato con la qualità dei piatti viene compromesso da un servizio totalmente insufficiente e non all’altezza del locale.

03/02/2025: In an excellent position on the sea, west of Cape Milazzo.... nice atmosphere, courteous service, but the rubbery dough of the pizza and the "fried bread" were a total disappointment. There were 9 of us and none of us managed to finish our pizza, despite the overall good toppings. A real shame. Prices above average.

12/04/2025: Order placed via moov Eat at 4pm and I reiterate 4pm, requesting a delivery at 9pm. They had the barbaric courage to tell the rider that there was a lot of work and they didn't deliver the focaccia by the scheduled time to the boy in charge of delivery. I could understand an order placed at 8.00 pm, but it is not plausible to treat orders placed online in this way, evidently to favor those who arrive on site at 9.00 pm. The focaccia had already been paid for anyway.

11/01/2025: A historic bakery. The focaccia, the bread, the flatbreads, in short everything, are excellent. Absolutely try the "Sikelia"

20/09/2024: Nous y avons dîné le premier soir de notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout était bon ou très bon, avec une seule réserve : la tendance à trop saler (même la ricotta de la cassata était salée) : caponata très savoureuse, excellentes moules d'Espagne en entrée comme dans un plat de pâtes, très bon risotto au speck. Au total, avec deux antipasti, deux primi, un dessert et deux bières, 100 €, c'est un très bon rapport qualité-prix pour Panarea, avec un dîner en tous points réussi.

30/08/2024: Avevamo prenotato circa un mese e mezzo per la cena,quando arriviamo non esisteva la prenotazione in un ristorante cosi rinomato queste cose non devono esistere anche se dopo hanno accomodato ma con la scadenza di andare entro una certa ora....peccato.

22/04/2025: First of all: I'm really sorry for the bad review because the service was so so friendly and personable! At first a small menu promised good food. I thought: If you offer little, you're doing really well and ordered a carbonara. The bacon was limp, the sauce was kind of lumpy and the taste was pretty neutral. For 15€ I definitely expect more :/ I sat outside, right on the street, where it's logically loud, but that didn't bother me that much. Inside it looked a bit “older”, tablecloths were made of plastic. But I have to say, maybe you should try the pizza. She looked good at the next table. Prices: 15€ pasta, 5€ a small beer and 2€ service charge.

24/02/2025: Abbiamo chiamato la scorsa estate su un numero di cellulare per prenotare e Maurizio ci dice che ha cambiato locale, quando arriviamo il personale ci dice che si Maurizio e li ma è un cameriere e che il suo locale è stato chiuso nel 2023. Capisco che sia difficile chiudere un attività dopo tanti anni ma non capisco perché comportarsi in maniera così scorretta. La Forgia non esiste più.

24/02/2025: Hi, as I noticed, season 2024, I'm going to the Vulcano Island on July 13th, calling the Forgia restaurant, telling me that the business would be ready. Chex, hosting me instead, the owner tells me after taking the phone call that the Forgia had moved, but in reality it wasn't like that. He hosted me in another place, calling himself a joke for the customers. Greetings.

12/04/2025: Really delicious pizza, cooked just right, excellent quality ingredients and really delicious flavour, the staff is quite qualified and very kind, I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat a delicious pizza. Excellent 100++++++++++
