21/11/2025: I had high hopes for this place's granitas, but I was disappointed. The pistachio was practically undetectable, while the chocolate flavor was decent. The brioche didn't convince me either. A shame. On the plus side, the staff was friendly.

31/10/2025: Went for a cappuccino and a pistachio cornetto. They didn't have any ready, so they made one on the spot - but it wasn't really pistachio. It was just cream with a hint of pistachio flavor. When I mentioned it, the staff first insisted it was pistachio and then said it was pistachio cream. The quality wasn't great, and the prices were quite high for what they offered.

05/10/2025: We ordered an €11 menu with delivery, I paid €15 and they didn't even give me change.

01/09/2025: Very good pizza. The fish is fresh. I recommend this restaurant both for its good food and its quiet yet central location. Immersed in a magical atmosphere.

28/11/2025: I wanted to recommend this restaurant, we ate an excellent pizza, from the dough to the toppings to the courtesy and generosity of the employees. I also recommend the bread made by them, especially the cereal ones. Excellent everything, cleanliness, kindness, honest quality-price ratio guaranteed.

16/10/2025: I don't think there's a more beautiful place than this. The 5 stars are only for the location; everything else provides an excellent backdrop for this stunning view.

11/09/2025: The service was a very positive note. Everyone was kind and attentive. We were treated and served well. Unfortunately, the food doesn't live up to the beautiful location, with its fabulous coastline. There's nothing to compliment it. The dishes are more trattoria-like than restaurant-like. The prices are exorbitant (for the selection and execution). I'd save the mussels and the fried fish... I have to say the pizza is more appetizing, but the value for money isn't justified. The place deserves more attention to detail and well-executed menus. You can't make money off the location alone!

18/08/2025: A truly exceptional discovery! The almond paste cookies are amazing, especially the citrus-flavored ones: an explosion of flavor! The jellies are delicious, as is the granita, fresh and perfectly balanced. I also tried the gelato cake: simply irresistible! A great discovery that I will definitely repeat every time I vacation here again.

26/09/2025: We ordered take-away on two occasions. The food was ready quickly, packed up nicely, and tasted great. Plenty of people seemed to be enjoying their meal in the restaurant as well. It felt like it was family owned and that they aimed to please their customers.

18/09/2025: The food was very good, no doubt about it. However, I still don't understand why, despite having made a reservation and having at least four free tables (two of which were later filled by people without reservations), we had to wait 15 minutes for a table with other diners still chatting. No offense, but the service needs to be significantly improved.

29/09/2025: I've been there twice this year, one afternoon for a brioche with gelato and this morning for a delicious granita. I should start by saying that, being here on vacation and unfamiliar with the place, I was a little put off by the negative reviews. What can I say... a pleasant surprise! I found the staff to be courteous and polite, and the quality of the food was truly evident. Breakfast is certainly busier and perhaps a little chaotic, but I simply saw the girls really focused on doing their job well and ensuring a good result for the customer. I'll definitely be back next year!

The set menu was plentiful, varied, and excellent quality, with dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. 09/11/2025: This review is dedicated to a historic establishment on the Riviera Nord in Messina, once the flagship of the city's pastry shop, ice cream parlor, and café, but sadly no longer enjoying its former glory. ​🌟 The Glorious Past ​It tells of a golden age, led by the historic pastry chef owner, whose experience and passion raised the quality level to unparalleled heights. His products were renowned, a symbol of Messina excellence. His passing, unfortunately, marked the beginning of a downward spiral. ​📉 The Decline and Current Management ​The family succession failed to maintain the standard, apparently leading to a crisis and the subsequent takeover of management by a third party. Today, the establishment is in a state of disrepair, stripped of its former splendor. ​Ambience and Decor: The interior shows the weight of the years. The lack of renovation is evident, and a general tiredness can be felt throughout. The Glass Counter: Perhaps the most painful aspect is the old glass counter, so worn and opaque that the pastries inside fail to shine, hiding the beauty and freshness of the products. 👍 The Bright Side: Quality and Effort Despite the structural issues, it's important to emphasize one fundamental aspect: the intrinsic quality of the products remains good, and the credit goes entirely to the staff. ​The employees work hard and passionately, preparing desserts, ice creams, and specialties that still express the flavor of tradition and craftsmanship. 26/10/2025: The service table was awful , we were there more than half an hour no one take our orders they just passing by and say we are arriving. We went without eating 🤷🏻‍♀️

11/10/2025: Maurizio was very kind and welcoming. The caponata was the best I've tasted in the Aeolian Islands, and the stuffed squid with sauce was wonderful! Thank you.

05/10/2025: For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)
