05/04/2026: Rooms a little bit dated..no walk in shower..but were very clean..balcony view amazing though. Location was fine but had alot steps down to the beaches(especially islo bella) and cable car up to Toarmina..but generally location was fine...one major problem was the hotel lift was broken and if your in the higher up part of the hotel..its roughly 220 steps up to some of the rooms! Which is not great if you have mobility issues or are of a certain age. Would have got a higher score but the steps were an issue.

08/02/2026: My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week last summer. The hotel itself is fine, but the problem was that on one of our last days, I hadn't brought my AirPods in their case to the beach; they were on a cabinet among other things. When we got back, they were gone! We knew the cleaning staff came every day and immediately wondered what was going on and if the cleaners were the only ones entering our room. I was 100% sure I'd put them on the cabinet and they were gone, so I went to the front desk and told them my AirPods had probably been taken by the cleaning lady. She acted nonchalantly as if this wasn't a big deal. There was a very strange atmosphere, as if she knew about it. She said she'd check and came back with my AirPods. She told me they'd probably accidentally fallen onto the cleaning cart. Of all the items, the expensive earbuds were the only ones that "fell off the table into the cart." Do you really believe that? No "sorry for the inconvenience, ma'am," or anything like that. She acted as if it was perfectly normal, so I think she simply knew about it. I told her I found it very strange, but she brushed it off with a comment like, "That kind of thing happens." It's unacceptable that someone tried to steal my AirPods and got away with it by claiming they were taken by accident! Absolutely ridiculous. And all this while we'd paid €10 for the cleaning lady that morning. We were here from August 4th to 11th of last year and forgot to write a review about it right away, but it still bothered me so much that I'm doing it now.

04/06/2026: A classic in Stromboli, good fish, impersonal, detached service, Zurro goes between the tables to present the dishes then the "boys" serve the tables quickly, some are offered a Malvasia at the end but we are not among the lucky ones! That's fine like this

25/05/2026: The plates and cutlery were completely dirty. They brought me a fork I'd used for the cake, and although they apologized for changing it, even the cappuccino cup was dirty. Hygiene is a non-existent thing here. Absolutely avoid.

09/05/2026: The kindness of the young lady who invited me to disembark and served me with grace and love because it is important that in these places there are people with a heart then this place is home I remember all the old people who worked there who now have their own bar best bar

07/05/2026: A very pleasant stay with a very warm welcome. A place to recommend! Pitches right on the water, a magnificent view, an adjoining diving club – everything you need for a successful stay in the shade of beautiful olive trees!

16/12/2025: The Riva Smeralda location is truly beautiful and evocative: overlooking the sea, with an atmosphere that promises a pleasant and relaxing evening. Unfortunately, however, the quality of the food didn't quite meet expectations. There were 15 of us, and we all ordered pizza: mediocre dough, with toppings placed haphazardly and carelessly, truly disappointing. The service, if anything, was even worse: the waiters were rushed, giving you the constant feeling that they just wanted to take your plate away and vacate the table as quickly as possible. A real shame, because the location has enormous potential, but considering the (very high) prices, the overall experience was disappointing. I reiterate a fundamental point: exorbitant prices.

02/05/2026: It's a shame it's fallen so low... truly terrible service, with the staff unsmiling and looking grim. Today, they served granita in paper cups with yesterday's croissants at the table... a real shame.

01/05/2026: A variety of pastries and gelato! That day I only tried gelato and pastries there. It’s all good, especially I like their tiramisu cause it’s not too sweet. They also had a gelato with pana cake that is quite interesting to try. For gelato, I like chocolate, fruity flavors (sour as I like) and stracciatella.

22/10/2025: A really cute and welcoming place, close to the cable car and the steps to the beach. The place offers several daily specials. We had spaghetti carbonara and gnocchi with tomato sauce.

05/05/2026: BAD EXPERIENCE Let me start by saying that I only called this pizzeria because it was Monday and the pizzerias I usually go to were closed. I called and asked if it was possible to have a flatbread pizza with mozzarella, baked potatoes, and sausage, a very common classic pizza. When I asked, they confirmed the ingredients, and I placed the order. As soon as I got home, I was in for a surprise: the baked potatoes I had requested were nothing more than oven-baked French fries, and the sausage was HALF RAW and cut into 3/4-mm discs. There were practically 3 cm of sausage on the entire pizza—SHOCKING!!

18/04/2026: A versatile place offering a bit of everything. The pizza is excellent, not too crusty, and very light. The paninazzo is delicious, from the bread to the flavorful meat. The dining room is very spacious, divided into several well-furnished spaces, each with its own distinct identity, unlike the entrance, which feels like a normal shop.

11/10/2025: Maurizio was very kind and welcoming. The caponata was the best I've tasted in the Aeolian Islands, and the stuffed squid with sauce was wonderful! Thank you.

05/10/2025: For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)

05/12/2025: Very friendly! Especially the girl at the counter was super helpful and courteous, and she recommended an excellent cake. I will definitely be back. Thank you, Giusy, for the wonderful experience.

13/09/2025: We stopped for some cannoli, which they filled us up on the spot. They weren't cheap, but they were delicious!

27/08/2025: The Aeolian schiacciata and cannoli are delicious. They're filled to order. A typical, non-touristy place.
