The atmosphere is truly very familiar, the dishes that the 3 of us had were all excellent, furthermore despite the kitchen being open you don't smell the food at all, the dishes are quick, we had to deal with Francesco for all 3 times we were there, he puts you at ease with calm and professionalism and suggests the various menus, applause to Francesco and all the staff at DATTERINO, a point of reference for me in Messina.

We took advantage of the all-you-can-eat lunch offer on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, where for €20 (drinks not included) you can feast on grilled meat. They don't serve Chianina beef, of course, but a platter of mixed cuts (lots of chops, sausage, pork ribs, and a small piece of sliced ​​beef). Once you've finished the first platter, you can order the second. They serve baked potatoes, bread, and sauces with the grilled meat. We ate a lot, and a lot of meat, but ultimately, all-you-can-eat is a smart way to attract people to lunch. You eat for charity, and in the end, you pay about €30 per person, drinks, coffee, and a dessert included. It's doable. Definitely worth a try.

Quite friendly service and English will do. One of the best mushrooms pizza that I have had in a long time but one thing I cannot feel positive is they put the bread on table and I asked that we don’t need it but they didn’t take away and also from Bill I saw 7,5 euros are charged extra for this bread cos we are three and they x3. I don’t appreciate this kind of charge. For something I never eat or asked .
