07/09/2025: One of the nicest small family restaurants in town. It was a wonderful experience to have dinner here. Both the small appetizers and the spaghetti vongole and lasagna were delicious. The very friendly service and the pleasant surroundings, set back from the road, are simply fantastic. Simply a wonderful atmosphere! And we weren't surprised at the end by the bill (as is often the case in this area) because some kind of service charge or something else was added on. And I've rarely seen such genuine appreciation for my generous tip. Highly recommended!

22/09/2025: The main advantages are the excellent location and amenities. The balcony overlooks the sea, and guests receive free sun loungers and umbrellas at a nearby beach and a discount at restaurants. The room has air conditioning and a refrigerator, but no electric kettle. Another drawback is the hard beds. It's worth paying attention to the electrical outlets. Not all are European-standard, so an adapter may be needed. The staff is friendly and helpful, and English is spoken.

23/08/2025: Beautiful hotel with an adjoining beach club. The rooms are comfortable and recently renovated. Just a few steps and you're on the beach. The restaurant is excellent, serving pizza and fish, using quality ingredients. The staff is young and friendly, attentive to the customer's needs. The beach club has fun entertainment that is always discreet and unobtrusive. Behind this excellent result is professional and passionate management! You can see the years of work and experience behind it... congratulations!

10/10/2025: Had a fantastic lunch here. Octopus salad and pasta made on site. It was amazing - so fresh and tasty. Some of the best food we experienced in a few weeks in Sicily.

14/09/2025: The chef was very nice, offering the menu in Italian and English. The pasta is freshly prepared on-site, by hand. We had caponata as a starter, typically Sicilian, fresh, and incredibly delicious. For main course, we had scialatielli with swordfish and macaroni with eggplant. Both dishes were perfectly cooked al dente and tasted amazing. I had a red craft beer from Sicily to drink, and I highly recommend it. The price at Past'Ovo is more than fair, considering the location and the freshness of the food and ingredients. In other cities, you would have paid at least one and a half times more just for the view of the cathedral.

25/08/2025: I have to say we had a nice pizza tour. The pizza was good, and the outdoor seating was often nice for eating outside, even though from the outside it looks more like a takeout pizzeria.

30/08/2025: The best focaccia I've tried in the Saponara, Rometta, and Spadafora area. Various flavors available. The rustici ones are also delicious. A guarantee!

27/08/2025: The focaccia and rustici were excellent. The order was placed on time, and I picked it up at the restaurant before 9:30 PM. It must have been a fluke. I'll always get my focaccia from them.

29/06/2025: Excellent pizza with a different dough compared to the competition light and a little crunchy which makes it even more appetizing. Excellent ingredients both for the quality of the raw material and for the balance between the flavors. Also try the desserts, they are a pleasant and delicious end to the meal.

01/08/2025: Had a wonderful evening here, the view is spectacular and it is a great place to watch the sun set then stay for dinner. Loved the polpette and the norma. Really kind and friendly service - would absolutely recommend!!

11/10/2025: We ordered pasta and a cannoli. The pasta was too basic for a restaurant, and the cannoli was, objectively, the worst we tried. The dough was hard, thick, and stale, with very little filling.

10/10/2025: During our visit, we had the opportunity to try lasagna, pizza, cheeseburger, fries, salmon pancakes, and coffee, and everything was very good. The restaurant is right at the exit from Isola Bella beach. Prices are very reasonable for Taormina, around 50 euros for everything. Friendly service and a short wait.

24/09/2025: Excellent granita, fresh cream, balanced sweetness. I have to make a comment about the service at the counter, but I'll start by saying that it's hard to find motivated, kind, and polite staff these days because "people" work like robots just for money, without passion. I walk in, say good morning, and the counter girl with her black hair tied back doesn't respond, her gaze downcast, serious, and stern. She doesn't understand that if it weren't for us customers, she wouldn't be working there. However, in this place, I must say that I've encountered friendly shop assistants and counter girls who understand that anyone who enters isn't just a number like those who nibble at the gate.

01/08/2025: Our family stay at this agriturismo was pure magic. The tranquility, the stunning views of the mountains and Mount Etna, the pool, and all the activities for the kids were simply perfect. But the real highlight was the hospitality of Filippo and Rita and their incredible food. The homemade Sicilian dishes they served us every night, with fresh vegetables from their garden, were hands down the best we've ever tasted. Our kids even asked why we couldn't spend all vacations here!

15/08/2025: Fantastic place, welcoming and very clean. We had a delicious paella dinner with fresh, quality seafood. The pizza was excellent with sourdough, perfectly cooked, and with a perfect dough. Finally, the desserts prepared by the owner were DELICIOUS! The staff was attentive, cheerful, and polite. I highly recommend it.

02/07/2025: A lovely place in front of the sea with a familiar and enveloping atmosphere. Practically on the beach, on a promenade where you can sip a drink to the sound of music and enjoy simple but tasty dishes.

30/06/2025: Abbiamo preso un cocktail al tramonto al chiosco estivo Totù Ammare, sulla spiaggia di Ponente, un po' prima della baia del Tono. Peccato che né su Google né su Tripadvisor segnalino che d'estate chiudono il locale di via XX Settembre e si trasferiscono a mare. Ma una volta scoperto, va assolutamente provato! Un cartoccio di patate fritte al naturale con buccia e un tramonto rosso fuoco. Ci sono mille posti dove prendere un cocktail in vetro e con dosi da manuale del perfetto barman, ma pochi posti dove godere di un tramonto così. Mia opinione ovviamente

14/10/2024: Kindness is a must here, the pistachio milkshake was fabulous and the bathrooms were spotless! Recommended!!

11/10/2025: The cheese platter, summer salad, and mortadella panini are recommended. A good choice for a snack between meals.

06/10/2025: Great lunch here: the “pane cunzati” are definitely worth the detour, the vegetables are delicious and the service is super nice: welcoming, smiling, super kind staff
