24/11/2025: A truly beautiful, well-designed venue with delicious food. These organized events were also very tasty, like the all-you-can-eat focaccia or the delicious charcuterie and cheese platter. The only flaw, if we can call it that, was the waitress, who was obviously in a hurry to clear the table, almost taking our plates away with food still on them. The rest of the staff, however, was very friendly and professional. I hope this review of mine can help them continue to improve their service.

02/04/2026: Amazing food, Amazing service. I had the Crema Di Melanzane which was absolutely out of this world, and the Panna Cotta which might've been the best I've ever had. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Would absolutely recommend a visit!

30/03/2026: My boyfriend and I fancied a little drink before heading back to our hotel. It was quiet here with a nice looking atmosphere so we decided to go in. We sat down (empty restaurant bar one couple) told the waiter we just wanted drinks. He looks at me and says no, I wasn’t sure whether he was relocating British humour by saying no for a laugh, or just being rude. He was just being rude lol. I understand not allowing customers to come in for just a drink when the restaurant is busy, but it was quiet, we also would have ordered a dessert most likely. Anyway, drinks were okay at best, not cheap, and the service was not pleasant! Visit if you don’t mind people being rude towards you🌸

23/03/2026: For me, this is the best traditional Messina focaccia in the area, with classic tuma cheese. The arancini with ragù are also delicious, not to mention the Roman pinsa in various flavors, my favorite, and the broccoli with sausage, potatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, and cheese. I highly recommend trying their specialties.

12/03/2026: I've been to this pinseria and was really satisfied. The pinsa was very light and well cooked, with fresh, quality ingredients. The staff was kind and helpful, and the atmosphere of the place is really welcoming. The quality/price ratio is also excellent. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. :)

29/12/2025: Updating the review: (Thanks for the tip, but the counter clerk is still there—in fact, to be precise, when I closed at Torrefaro I found her at the Via Cavour location. She's always the same rude and unwilling to work, and even my three friends who were with me this time noticed, so it's not a subjective thing. She obviously has to be with you.) Excellent granita, very fresh cream, balanced sweetness. I have to make a comment about the counter service, but I'll start by saying that it's hard to find motivated, kind, and polite staff these days because "people" work like robots, without passion, just for money. I walk in, say good morning, and the counter clerk with her black hair tied back doesn't respond, her gaze downcast, serious, and stern. She doesn't understand that if it weren't for us customers, she wouldn't be working there. However, in this place, I must say that I've also encountered kind counter clerks and they understand that anyone who enters isn't just a number like those nibbling at the gate.

08/03/2026: We found it through word of mouth and ate there for four days. The food was great, and special requests not on the menu were no problem. The aglio e olio was especially delicious.

16/03/2026: It's a bar that has lost a lot of its reputation over the years, perhaps because it hasn't kept pace with the times. Nonetheless, I still fondly remember it for the best aperitif I've ever had.

07/03/2026: I've been to this bar several times for breakfast, and they never have the items listed on the menu and promoted on social media. Even if I come at 9:00 a.m., they're always sold out. Removing them from the menu and not promoting what they don't have would be ideal. The only positive thing is the staff, who are always very friendly.

26/10/2025: A wonderful experience at this establishment. We ate lunch there after arriving from the boat and returned in the evening because we were delighted. The pane cunzato is exceptional and the lady who runs the restaurant is super nice; she made a real effort to chat with us, who are beginners in Italian.

From the very first moment, the attention to detail is evident: the atmosphere is welcoming, modern, and has that Sicilian touch that invites you to relax and enjoy. The pizza is, without exaggeration, one of the best I've ever tasted. The dough is perfectly fermented, light and crispy on the outside, with an incredible flavor. The ingredients are noticeably fresh and of high quality, and the combinations are very well thought out. Every bite demonstrates a passion for authentic Italian pizza. 🍕 The service was wonderful. I'm Spanish, and they treated me wonderfully despite some initial language difficulties. 100% recommended

07/09/2025: One of the nicest small family restaurants in town. It was a wonderful experience to have dinner here. Both the small appetizers and the spaghetti vongole and lasagna were delicious. The very friendly service and the pleasant surroundings, set back from the road, are simply fantastic. Simply a wonderful atmosphere! And we weren't surprised at the end by the bill (as is often the case in this area) because some kind of service charge or something else was added on. And I've rarely seen such genuine appreciation for my generous tip. Highly recommended!

09/04/2026: We visited this bistro/restaurant twice because we enjoyed it so much and the food was delicious. We tried various bruschetta, pizza, hamburgers, and fries. Everything was excellent. The service was very friendly and helpful, and they even offered alternatives if something wasn't available. We would definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evenings.

18/08/2025: Sunday afternoon at 5pm we couldn't find any restaurants open and then saw this pizza place. The chef was very friendly and helpful, explained that local kids had torn the menu in half. Anyway 2 great Pizzas and 2 ice teas was €13. He told us we could sit at the tables in the bar opposite and take the box of napkins with us. Great stuff.
