Special thanks to Valery: her massage was a mystical experience! She has golden hands and a rare sensitivity in understanding exactly where tension builds up. If you're looking for a place to regenerate body, mind, and spirit, "Agriturismo da Marianna" in Floresta is the perfect choice. We returned here for the second time in a row (after a magnificent celebration of my wife's birthday) to treat ourselves to a few days of leisure and relaxation during our vacation, and the experience exceeded—if that's possible—our already high expectations. Here's why this place deserves a full five stars (and more): * **Dream Location and Cuisine:** Nestled in the splendid setting of the Nebrodi Park, the agriturismo offers a perfect location. It's a paradise for those who love good food: every dish is a triumph of authentic local products, cooked with respect for tradition. The wellness area, adjacent to the spacious chalets, is fully equipped and meticulously designed. Between the hydromassage pool, outdoor Turkish bath, and various saunas, the level of relaxation is indescribable. The entire staff goes out of their way to accommodate every need, always with a smile and impeccable professionalism. The added value? The owners' hearts of gold. We were traveling with two very young girls. Although there is no babysitting service, the owner Luciano and his wife Maria spontaneously offered to look after the girls so we could enjoy a moment of total relaxation in the spa. Initially, like any parent, we were a little apprehensive, but their genuineness immediately instilled absolute trust in us. When we returned, we found the girls blissfully enjoying lunch at the table with Luciano, Maria, and their entire wonderful family, in an incredibly serene and happy atmosphere. To say we felt pampered is an understatement: we felt at home. Luciano, Maria, and the entire team are wonderful, human, and generous people, qualities rarely found today. 25/06/2026: A quiet, peaceful, and cool place with a beautiful view from the dining room window. The food is top-notch, worthy of a 3-star rating; I'd even give it 5. However, the chefs are only 3, but 10 stars for the kindness, helpfulness, friendliness, and professionalism of all the kitchen staff and everything else. I've already booked for the next day. I'd return twice a day, and the prices are very competitive with other restaurants for quality, quantity, and freshness, as they're very fair and equitable.

14/06/2026: We went out for dinner for the first time on the recommendation of friends. It was spot on, everything was perfect. The food was good, the house appetizer was recommended. The pizza was excellent, well done. See you next time.

29/12/2025: It's a very beautiful and unique place, with an excellent menu in both the restaurant and pizzeria, and fresh, quality ingredients. The desserts are heavenly; try the soft and delicate lemon cream. The staff are attentive and active, and the owners are professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: One of the nicest small family restaurants in town. It was a wonderful experience to have dinner here. Both the small appetizers and the spaghetti vongole and lasagna were delicious. The very friendly service and the pleasant surroundings, set back from the road, are simply fantastic. Simply a wonderful atmosphere! And we weren't surprised at the end by the bill (as is often the case in this area) because some kind of service charge or something else was added on. And I've rarely seen such genuine appreciation for my generous tip. Highly recommended!

The drink is always good. A spacious, elegant, and comfortable atmosphere, along with professional and courteous staff, complete a consistent experience from start to finish. 21/05/2026: Picturesque, wholesome Panineria located close to the port. The paninis were generously stuffed with high quality Italian produce (Bresaola, Mozzarella) and freshly prepared. The owner of the place was very kind and welcoming. The store is a little hard to find so look out for the "Panineria de Porto" sign. It's a small, authentic jewel in a rather touristy area. Fully recommend stopping by!

17/05/2026: Passing through Milazzo after trekking in the Aeolian Islands, I purchased two sandwiches. I noticed the care with which each sandwich was prepared, meticulously prepared and with the necessary attention to detail for any allergies. A must-visit if you're in the area, even if just passing through.

15/10/2025: Missing Receipts: A Widespread Phenomenon and Its Implications ​Missing receipts at this bar is a common occurrence, not only in Messina but in many other parts of Italy. The reasons given by managers are often based on a supposed need to keep costs down, justifying the practice with rising raw material prices and bills. However, this explanation doesn't hold up, as the requirement to issue a receipt is established by law and cannot be circumvented. ​When a merchant fails to issue a receipt, they are committing tax evasion. This means that part of the money you, as a consumer, have spent is not declared and, therefore, not taxed. This has a direct impact on all of us. Taxes, in fact, are used to fund essential public services, such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, and security. If a portion of the population doesn't contribute fairly, the tax burden falls more heavily on other citizens and on honest businesses that regularly pay their taxes. In an economic context where everyone is expected to do their part, it would be desirable to see more transparency, even from those who, judging by their lifestyle, don't appear to have major difficulties. Furthermore, it's illegal to have unqualified, and especially not legally employed, staff waiting tables in a bar. In fact, a man was spotted wandering around the tables serving food; in fact, I even saw the same person wearing a municipal police uniform. Who knows!

31/05/2026: We stopped for a snack at this deli. We tried some of the house delicacies, all very good and tasty, but the octopus meatballs were definitely a real treat. Highly recommended.
