01/07/2025: I bought two small pizzas for €2.20 each and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The dough was dry, hard and clearly not fresh, giving the impression that they were products that had been unsold for days. Despite the price that was certainly not cheap, the quality was completely insufficient. It would be desirable to have more respect for the customer, avoiding selling items that are not up to a minimum standard, neither in terms of taste nor freshness. I honestly expected better.

16/06/2025: We loved their gelato! There are basic and very unique flavors too, the Pokemon peach tea was heavenly!! Staff were sooo kind and smiley!! There are two tables inside and benches outside to enjoy the yummies. We got 5 flavors for 5 euros!!! It's hard to find a parking spot at the building, but if you go one or two streets more, there is plenty of space to park and walk there.

08/08/2025: The quality has now dropped to that of a service station. Poor quality products, mediocre service. Until a couple of years ago, the counter was packed at all hours, day and night. Now, there's much less traffic, and it shows. And as a result, they've seen fit to cut back on product quality. Previously, the staff consisted of adults in white shirts and dress pants; now, it's kids in T-shirts; proof that they've also cut down on staff costs. What a shame.

17/07/2025: 5* isn't enough 😅 Delicious kebab. A huge plus is that you can choose your own toppings. It's a great deal, huge portion, and a very low price! I recommend it!

27/06/2025: The worst ice cream we had in the entire Sicily. I usually say “don’t judge a book by its cover” but at this case…please do and avoid this dingy place selling inedible substances.

07/06/2025: My absolute favorite bar. Every granita is delicious, the coffee is tasty, and you sit comfortably in a small courtyard. The staff and the owner are super friendly.

28/07/2025: The hotel is located on a hill with a beautiful view. I was only there for lunch. The staff was very kind and the food was very good.

28/07/2025: Very beautiful place and the food is good too, but since I couldn't leave my dog alone at home, I brought him with me. Dogs were welcome, so as soon as we arrived, we left my dog tied up in a crate all alone!!! I didn't bathe because I didn't want to leave my dog alone; I couldn't even hold him!!! "Small dog"

28/06/2025: For a truly local food experience this trattoria is perfect. It's away from all the tourist crowds. Some staff members don't speak English, but they try to help and ask their colleagues who do. I've used the app for translation but other team members were quick to help with a smile. Pasta dishes are superb, full of flavour. The option to order half a portion is simply brilliant. Regular size portions are large so be aware. Beef steak with cheese was also very tasty and tender. The value for money is much better than on the main street and the atmosphere is 100% real Palermo. The old photographs of Palermo are so interesting.

23/06/2025: Typical old-style trattoria dedicated to the Palermo football club. Excellent value for money, the best among the trattorias in Palermo that we tried. For the first courses you can choose between a half portion (60 grams) and a full portion (120 grams). The general menu lists all the specialties, really many, then inside the menu is proposed with the specialties available that day. We tried the grouper ravioli, the roasted swordfish and the sardine meatballs. We would have returned a second time but unfortunately we were unable to, I recommend checking the opening hours and booking.

18/05/2025: Ho scoperto questo posto casualmente tramite amicizia e ho fatto il pranzo con famiglia.il posto si trova vicino il parco di segesta e sei immerso nel verde.i gestori sono gentilissimi e il cibo è ottimo e di gran qualità. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti e lo consiglieremo.difficile trovare cortesia,qualità e bel posto in un'unica soluzione!

04/05/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo il primo maggio con amici, che dire posto incantevole, dopo qualche chilometro di strada sterrata si arriva in una valle incantata, cibo tipico mediterraneo a base di carne squisito, il ragazzo biondo che ci ha accolti gentilissimo, cordiale e professionale, ci ha coccolati e servito tutto il giorno con professionalità e garbo. Prezzo onesto in base alla qualità e quantità del cibo. Ritorneremo

12/07/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A top spot in Palermo! The service was extremely friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The quality of the drinks and snacks was excellent. A particularly positive aspect: great parking nearby, which isn't a given in Palermo. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

09/07/2025: Average deli. Unfortunately, I got the fried calzone with cooked ham and raw buffalo mozzarella inside. I don't recommend it because I think it's very likely to be like that, given the way it's cooked. The pastries, I think, are the strong point; the cannoli are very good, with ricotta that isn't too sweet (unlike I've had elsewhere).

10/08/2025: Great atmosphere, very good service, the food isn't 5-star but it's good, the best thing about this place is the service and being able to sit up high with an excellent view.

19/07/2025: Had my daughters surprise college graduation the other night at La porta del Pepe, 🩷🇮🇹 from the moment we walked in it was magical 🪄from the staff greeting us with champagne to all the attention to detail to all the decorations throughout the place, everyone was so attentive of my needs, the food needs a 10 star rating because everything I chose was fish based and it was freshly caught that day ( it doesn’t get fresher than that) the chef is top notch, if you decide to have a party or just lunch or dinner when you are in Sicily , this should be your number one spot you’ll never get a bad meal thank you Isabella & Giuseppe for making our dream come to life ❤️🇮🇹❤️🇮🇹❤️
