Balanced flavors enhance the flavors of the seafood without overpowering them. Attentive service and a very pleasant atmosphere. A must-visit for those seeking superior quality.

06/03/2026: Last night, I had pizza with my family, and I tried ComuSiChiama's pizza...they've always raved about it, and it didn't disappoint. Perfect leavening, exceptional and abundant ingredients, very good...I even gave my tips for perfecting their signature pizza 😉 The atmosphere is very casual, with very vintage and refined decor that makes you feel right at home... The staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly. My first time there went very well, and it certainly won't be my last 🥰

21/01/2026: The pasta with sardines and squid was delicious. I ordered the grilled version, even though it wasn't on the menu! Great stuff with Local Food and See Food! Everything was delicious and fresh! The grilled vegetable bliuder was delicious! My husband and I are very picky eaters, but this was truly delicious, and I highly recommend it!

19/09/2025: Visited here on our last day (forgot to take a photo of the gelato/ ice cream) and had a cone. It was my least favourite experience of ice cream in the week in Sicily. It was the most expensive (although still very fair - €3.20), most places are €3. Price definitely not an issue. Slightly smaller amount of ice cream than other places we visited. I would’ve happily paid more because the ice cream quality was some of the BEST we’d had. It’s stored in the steel (deep) tins which I believe is indicative of them making it themselves / higher quality. Overall, I would’ve just hoped for a bit more ice cream and would’ve happily paid more. My hopes were high but felt slightly let down. Maybe others will have a better experience. I’m rating 4 because of the ice cream quality being the most important part.

27/11/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Bar Cristallo in Paternò is a welcoming and spacious place with a lovely smoke-free atmosphere. It's highly regarded for the quality of its products, especially its brioches, granitas, and fresh and tasty hot snacks. The staff is courteous and quick with their service, and the atmosphere is clean and pleasant. It's an ideal place for both a hearty breakfast and a break during the day. Unfortunately, I've only encountered a sub-par hot snack once. But the overall quality remains high, making it one of the most recommended bars in town.

10/10/2025: A historic ice cream shop like the ones of old. Delicious ice cream, they know how to make it in Sicily. We chatted with the owner and his wife, who impressed us with their kindness and expertise. Well done!

17/10/2025: Bar/restaurant/tobacconist. On Via Salemi, a short distance from the expressway and the hospital. Whenever I pass by, it's a pleasure to stop in for a top-quality coffee and meet the always helpful and courteous staff. Spacious and clean, with tables at the bar and a restaurant. Free parking is available inside, in front, or on the street. Reservations are recommended for lunch, especially if you're in a group. Recommended

27/07/2025: This isn't just one of Modica's historic pizzerias, but one that has maintained and strengthened its quality, speed, and friendliness over the years. Here you'll find these three components, which in my opinion often prove to be its strength. You know that in this pizzeria, everything is quality; you'll be served with a smile, and their experience in the industry means they're very quick. Mine was a takeaway with two free cans of Coke... small but important gestures... you can't go wrong here... 🔝

07/11/2025: This is a gem of a place on the Main Street in Taormina. Lovely cozy bar atmosphere, with great ambient music. We went on a rainy evening and it was the perfect place to escape the weather. They offer a wonderful selection of cocktails, and light food. We were six people, and had 2 very nicely arranged cheese and charcuterie platters, and two pizzas, and the portions were generous enough that we had enough food for dinner. The wait staff were friendly and anxious to please. We would definitely recommend.

23/02/2026: Caldera is a truly special chalet, immersed in nature and perfect for unwinding. The property is incredibly comfortable and well-maintained, but what makes the stay fantastic is everything the place offers: silence and a unique atmosphere. Plus, the accommodation includes two mountain bikes, perfect for exploring the surrounding area and fully experiencing the volcano on which Caldera is located: an experience that makes the holiday even more authentic and fun. Special mention also goes to Flavio, the host, who is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and always available with helpful advice and thoughtful touches that make all the difference. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return, because this is one of those experiences worth repeating (and enjoying even more).
